I was experiencing a really bad situation which placed me in need of four horse trailer tires on a weekend, far from home, in a very small town. One tire shop had already been unable to help me but referred me to Central Prairie Co-Op.Calling ahead, I was assisted by a very pleasant man on the phone. He quickly checked inventory and then assured me that they had the tires I needed in stock and would be able to help me.When I arrived in Sterling shortly after 8am, Larry, the tire technician cheerfully started to work immediately on the trailer.I went to the office to wait and settle the bill where I was assisted by Vickie. She greeted me warmly and made we feel welcome with a cup of coffee. Vickie cheerfully greeted and assisted each customer that called or stopped in. I drank coffee and visited with her and another local gentleman about Sterling and the surrounding area. They were both great ambassadors for the community. Sterling is a lovely town and boasts the very first Dillon's Grocery!I was on my way in no time. Larry took extra care to pull out my trailer fender which had been damaged by the blow-out so that my new tires would be safe for certain.The shop, office and gas pumps were clean and neat. I hope I never need 4 trailer tires all at once ever again but am so thankful that my bad situation had an excellent outcome, and that the customer service I received was delivered by the exceeded-expectations, wonderful, thoughtful, caring staff at Central Prairie Co-Op.

I had a slow leak in my one car tire and stopped by to ask if they could help fix it. They not only fixed it, but they did it in about 20 minutes and charged me about $19. It was absolutely fantastic service and I would highly recommend them to anyone if they have a tire that needs repair.

Can t express my appreciation enough! Great customer service and overall great people! I m a mom of a college student and I m 8 hours away and couldn t be there to help with her car issue. I called them to ask if they could help and they took immediate action and went out of their way to help her. Thank you!

Friendly staff, always helpful when our cars are in need of maintenance. Whether a battery needs tested or tires need mounted and balanced, they are always willing to help.

Excellent customer service! I was traveling through when my brakes went out on my pickup one evening. They were busy when I stopped by first thing in the morning but fit me right in. Larry was very friendly and got me fixed up and back on the road. Sterling is lucky to have an awesome shop with great people running it!! Thank you so much for your help!!
