They have been able to get both of us in right away and fix the issues. Pretty straightforward which is also nice. Doesn't haggle or try to add costs.

Tony was so nice and explained everything in a way someone with little car experience could easily understand! An honest mechanic is like gold. This is a great place. I would suggest always, at least getting an estimate from Tony.Big O wanted to charge me $4,500 to fix my Audi and Tony charged $1,000 and gave a one year warranty. It's been working great

I called ahead for an afternoon appointment. Had a nail in my tire. I showed up a bit late but Tony started diagnosing my vehicle immediately. Today was terrible but T&M made it so much better. The tow truck took 4 hours and my car wasn t delivered until 2 they were able to diagnose and repair by 6. I ve never had such a quick repair and my car is driving AMAZINGLY. Thank you for making what could have been a multi-day process in to a single evening. I don t have to worry about getting my kid to school in the morning because of your quick work. Will 100% be a repeat customer for maintenance. THANK YOU!!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have taken my vehicles to Matt for many years. (2 Toyota Corollas, Rav4 & FJ Cruiser) Matt was recommend to me by a friend and I have been highly satisfied with any work I've had done at T&M Auto. Any work done is always competitively priced. I've priced some work at the name brand shops and T&M is always more competitive. Volvoline people couldn't diagnose the problem in my car, but Tony is simply genius, he just solved my cars problem just in 15 mins with very reasonable rate, I would recommend 10/10. Very punctual on time. Really appreciate his knowledge in auto industry.

Best kept secret in Shawnee/KC - professional, fast, accurate, priced right they saved me $342.00 because a different auto repair put in faulty parts, and Tony advised me to contact them (a St Louis, MO company) and that company paid T&M directly to do the job right. Could not ask for better service.

I have been meaning to write a review about T & M Auto. I had my car starter go out on me couple of weeks ago and I called them and they had time to fix it the same day as well as offer me a reasonable price. Matt was a nice tech and got the starter fixed. I was impressed with the service. I also got an oil change and replaced my filter. Give them a try.

Tony and Mathew are the best. Fair pricing friendly and worked with me to make sure priority work was done first. Cost was way below what other repair centers charge for quality work. I think I found my Techs. Keep up the great work

Went in for an alignment and new tires. They fixed that, a leaky valve, did an oil change, and had it done in a day for about 850 after tax. Seemed reasonable. Also recommend a shock change to help the back tires but understood I'd need time before I could have that done. Nice staff, said would send me a quote about the shocks so I can bring it is n another time. I probably will.

Well... my vehicle was stolen from their parking lot. They wouldn't accept any liability; and since it's a public parking lot their insurance did not cover the loss. Oh, and the closest thing Matthew offered to an apology was to say "That sucks." You're wrong, sir. Your business sucks.All of this came about after they'd been holding onto my vehicle for three weeks, not fixing it. Instead, they performed work I expressly told them not to perform. Then they called me to say they couldn't fix the problem and were still charging me nearly $150.They were ever-so-gracious to not charge me after the vehicle was stolen. I suppose that makes it my lucky day?Last thing: Matthew is a low talker. Listen very carefully to what he says.

My truck's fuel filter went out on me unexpectantly and I seemed to be stuck in a bad place until i called T and M. I was quoted around a thousand at every other mechanic I called.. T and M quoted me 448$. I was shocked and felt for sure I would be scammed, but I only had 500$ and couldn't safely get my fuel tank off myself. I took my truck to T and M at 4pm Saturday and picked it up after work on Monday. They got me back up and running quick and cheap! They even took the time to show me what part they had replaced and what had gone wrong! I've recommended this place to everyone I know and am also recommending it to you!

My son's old car stopped running on a Friday afternoon. He needed it for work the next Monday. I was referred by a friend to T&M Auto. I dropped it off early Saturday morning, received a call later with the diagnosis and estimate, and by the afternoon the car was repaired. The price was fair, the service was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend T&M Auto not only for their service, but as a way to support a local, family-owned business. Thank you Matthew and Tony!

Honest, reasonably priced, and good at what they do. T and M Auto Repair has it all. I've used them for three or four years now. Both our cars have over 100k miles, so that time period encompassed more than a few visits. Where I've been able to compare, T and M has always been able to do the same job for less money than I'd be charged at nearby Tires Plus. They also don't try to sell me on extra repairs that, somehow, always need to be done NOW. (Again, unlike Tires Plus.) Instead, they'll break it down for me, telling me which repairs should be done soon and which can wait a bit. They're good at explaining what each repair will accomplish and how doing it (or putting it off) will affect the car's performance. I've never regretted taking their advice or felt as though they were just trying to make some extra money off me.Recently, I had my impression of their integrity confirmed. A friend was visiting from Winnipeg, MB. (That's Manitoba, Canada to those of you who don't get out much.) He was worried about the way his brakes were sounding. He'd had them fixed right before they left Canada and wondered if maybe the fix hadn't been done right. But he didn't want to go to a random mechanic who might seize the opportunity to fleece an out-of-stater (out-of-country-er, even!) I sent him to T and M. He arrived at 8:45 a.m. It was fifteen minutes before opening time. They looked at his car immediately and assured him that the brakes were fine. They didn't charge him a dime. The car got back to Canada without problems, so presumably they made the correct diagnosis.This is how they roll at T and M. They do the right thing just because it's the right thing. They'll probably never see my friend again. They haven't gained a new customer or anything like that. But they've made me an even bigger fan. So I figured I could at least get off my rear and do what I should have done long ago--write them a good review. Highly recommended.

The best thing about T&M auto is the personal service by the business owners. No big-chain ambiguities, no front-office sales pitch. They give real, honest, upfront opinions and fast, efficient service. I have had several major repairs done done at T&M, including a major transmission replacement, and I've been totally satisfied with the result.If you believe in supporting hard-working small business owners, then you should go to Tony's auto shop for all your service needs.

Tony repaired my oil leak and changed my breaks replaced two belts. . I paid him $1595.00. I took the car home and the next day my air conditioning quit working and a large puff of smoke came out from under my car. I took it back to Tony and he looked at it and stated it was the compressor and it would cost another $904.00. I did not get this fixed. I drive my car a couple more days and it locked up so now I do not have a car to drive.Service: Engine repair

Horrible . Had two experiences with this place and both went poorly. The first time I took my car in for a tune up and said I wanted it realigned, new spark plugs, fluids flushed and replaced, and belts checked. He wrote all this down and said he would. Had to replace a belt and mentioned new things that needed done and he clamed to do the other stuff as well and I was charged for it. He did not do the fluid replacement I paid for and needed. A week later my car broke down I had it towed to this place to see if it had anything to do with what did or did not happen during My last visit. I needed a new transmission he quoted me two different prices one $1500 and a $2200 after my last visit I only had enough left for the first and I told him this several times over the phone and had it set I wanted the $ 1500 a week later I go in for my car he told me the total on the phone as $1500 plus tax . I go in the receipt has the $2200 one on it when I confronted him about it he said we confirmed I wanted that and argued he can never make a mistake. He finally agreed maybe there was confusion (something about saying I could only afford the first one and saying the $1500 one on the phone some how confused him. He ended up charging $1600 so I had to pay an extra $100 for his mistake. I went twice both times he messed up and calmed mistakes can't happen to him .....

1st experience there and I was incredibly impressed from start to finish with how they handled me as a customer. The owners are very friendly, work was well done, and pricing is very reasonable as well. I'll be going back along with telling others about this place.

Recently took a risk & T&M Auto installed an alternator on my Lexus RX330. Great price and GREAT service. Not to mention, they took me home while they worked on my car. I'll be going back. Thank you guys!!

These guys are the best. Trained in the shops of the largest successful dealerships, they bring small town personal service to fairly and standardized prices of parts and labor. They are among the few shops I can honestly say say I am also treated honestly.

They were more than willing to help us, even though it was 15 minutes before they opened, and they let us know that our fear that something was wrong was unwarranted and didn't require service, rather than making up something. We were travelling in from out of state and came here on the recommendation of a local friend, but if we find ourselves in the area again and need car service I'll definitely use them again.
