Sarah was able to squeeze my car in at 4pm, they close at 6pm. She accepted my willingness to wait. Tires balanced with a $24 inspection, to know & have the reassurance my car is safe to be on the road! Knowing my poor little reliable baby is NOT NEW, I was expecting the manager, Nick to give a laundry list of repairs .Nope!Way to go Firestone! EXTREMELY FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, EFFICIENT and best of all, HONEST.Thank you again Sarah, for putting up a fight against those boys to look at my car before closings time! And thank you manager for being so honest!

I've come here for years. They generally do good work. I'd give five stars but in my last visit the mechanic pilfered the change outta my car. I didn't care until i went to go shopping at Aldi and realized I didn't have a quarter. I ain't no snitch though so I ain't telling on the guy. So if you go here remove your change before they can.

Terrible. Horrible. RUNNNNNNNNNNPlease if you could, do not come to this location. There are many other Firestone, even Goodyear is near. I have made an appointment online and dropped off my car 9am. I waited till 1:47pm to give them a call, they said will get back to me if they find out issues. Waited again for another good 3 hours. I gave them a call again at 4:17pm (finally someone answered the phone after a few missed call). "Any updates on my car". NO they have not even started to work on my car. Ridiculous. Then I asked what's the different between make an appointment and come in without an appointment. Replied "online appointment only for drop off". It even gave me an option "afternoon" as pickup preference. Now, even if they pay me to go back. I would just stay away from this Firestone. This is a second time this Firestone has given me disappointments. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!

I had an appointment at 11am and checked the car in about 10:50. It took an hour and a half to get the four new tires on, I thought that was a long time. When I went to pay, the woman said a total that seemed high to me. She said she couldn't give me the print out until after I paid. After I paid, I got the print out and found that she had added Road Hazard on it. I told her I didn't want that. She said, "Are you sure, it's only like, $30". (It was $44.05). I said no. Then she said she couldn't override it but I could call later and they could do it over the phone. I called and was told I would have to come in to get the credit. Note I saw the woman take a credit card number over the phone and manually put it in the machine during my wait. I had to come in the next day to get the credit for the Road Hazard that I didn't want and never asked for.

I usually feel pretty good about my experiences at my Firestone location however this time one of the technicians left several large grease stains on my vehicle interior.

Horrible, don't go to this particular Firestone. They lie and scam you out of money. They claimed to fix my car yet never even ordered the part until a week later. They only ordered the part because the same day I got my car and paid almost 3,000 dollars, it broke down, not even a mile from the shop. They had my car for a month and stopped answering calls. Got fed up and asked for a refund. I had to tow my car to the dealership in which they told me they took fuses and relays out of my car and didn't put back the original part. Now I have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to get my money back. I have always had good experiences with firestone and why I intrusted my car with them, but this one I say stay far away from. The management needs to change he is horrible.

Spoke with Todd about a ball park estimate on brakes and rotors, refused to give a price. Demanded I come in and pay 25$ to receive a quote after inspection. Inspection price wasn t a problem. Customer service was just terrible. Very rude and unprofessional.

Went online and scheduled an appointment. I received 2 confirmations on day and time. Then day before my appointment I received notice that it had been changed to another day and time. Then when I showed up at my appointment they were obviously not going to get to my car at my schedule time. Took 6 hrs for alignment and 4 tires.

Great experience so far. My car's alternator crapped out on a Sunday. I dropped it off same day, and they were very up front that they were short-staffed, but they would be able to get to it the next day, Monday. Got a call Monday afternoon to inform me of what the problem was, quote the fix, and I could have picked up my car early Tuesday morning if I hadn't had to wait until after work. Overall, great service.

Scammers. Paid for a brake fluid exchange. The brake fluid in the master cylinder was black when I picked my car up. They triple the price of parts.

Should have read all the 1 star reviews. Terrible customer service experience. I called and scheduled an appointment to have an alignment done on a Saturday. We dropped the car off the night before. By Saturday at 4pm I hadn't heard anything about the car, so decided to call. I spoke with Nick who told me he was waiting on a diagnostic technician to drive the car. Fast forward to 5:55pm and I decided to call back since they closed in 5min. I talked with a lady who confirmed that no one had looked at the car yet. She said they could look at it on Monday. I said wait, your hours say you're open Sunday, no one can look at it tomorrow? She said no because they only have one technician in and he's working on an engine. I said ok can you just lock the keys in the car and we'll pick it up tonight. She said she was having a problem with the computer and couldn't do anything with it right now but I could come back tomorrow (Sunday) to pick it up. So that's what we did. In summmary, we dropped our car off Friday night for an appointment we had the next day, they were not going to call me at all to update me on the status or that they wouldn't be able to even look at it until sometime Monday, and then couldn't just put the keys in the car for us to get that night. They may do good work, but the customer experience was so bad we never made it to that point. Can't recommend this place at all.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair

"diagnosed" bad head gasket, told to go to Ford dealership. Went to Ford, they said nothing wrong with head gasket, issue was resolved. Not sure what the problem ultimately was, but Firestone seemed fine taking my money without doing any actual work. Instead they gave me a diagnosis I could have pulled off of google. So I paid 2 diagnostics when in reality I needn't have paid any. Don't go here.Update: It's been nearly 2 weeks since providing 'customer care' with my information with the promise of hearing from someone within 1-2 days. Maybe they are overburdened with customer care requests; that kind of speaks for itself, huh? Again, do not go here.

Brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation but also let them know I was hearing some noise from the front end. As a woman, I am well aware that mechanics typically try to make money off our lack of knowledge and they could have easily tried to scam me into replacing the parts but instead let me know that although it was annoying, it was not unsafe to drive. I m a repeat customer specifically to this store because for the first time ever, I trust the employees to take care of me.Services: Tires, Oil change

I have used Firestone for all my vehicle maintenance (other than oil changes) for the past 13 years. My experience with Nick at this location has made me reconsider. I called the location after hearing nothing for 7 hours after dropping off my car. I was lied to several times over the phone (not when I dropped off the vehicle, which I've confirmed was also with Nick) about the date/location of my dropoff appointment, about how long it had been since if had my car in, told that one of my issues was "body shop work" which turned out to be incorrect, and was bullied over 4 rapid-fire phone calls of me suggesting different, obvious locations in a car to check, into having them remove my wheel locks because they couldn't find the wheel lock key, which I insisted was in the car and found in 30 seconds on the passenger side floor after picking up the vehicle. Bad experience overall & wont be recommending firestone in the future.

One of the worst places. On two separate occasions it's taking them two days for a tire repair. Just a tire repair. Absolutely ridiculous that it takes two days to repair. No one ever called about it taking so long, or called me at all, I just sit here and wonder why a tire repair is taking two days. Their lot is always triple parked so customers have to park nextdoor and walk across a lot to get there. Awful.

They couldn't find our information for the tire warranty. I had to pay for a whole new alignment warranty and had to go back home. Find the original one i already had, come back to get a refund, and the manager did nothing to compensate for wasting my time that it wasn't in their system

Ever hear of making an appointment for an oil change just so it can get done 24hours later? Why would I make an appointment for something that takes all of 30 minutes (hell I will give you the benefit of the doubt and say 2 hours) just so it can sit in the parking lot until the next day before you even look at it? I guess the real question is, why even make an appointment if I am being treated as a walk-in.. Well apparently that's what this store manager claims is common practice here. This particular store manager is the reason mechanics get a bad rap. This is not the first time I have had issues with this location, but I guarantee it's the last.Service: Oil change

Just 5 months ago I forked our 1600 for a fuel pump, 2 tires, and a battery from Firestone. Last month- I had to replace the battery because it was faulty. This month- I was in need of brakes. They said they could do it for $800. I use my car for work, so timeliness is very important to me. I made an appointment today at 12pm....however- I was not notified that my parts for my brakes weren t in until 2pm...2 hours later AFTER my set appointment. Mind you, I have been sitting in this lobby the entire time. Now- I have been told I need to wait an additional 2 hours because the parts just came in. A total of 4 hours after my set appointment time. I m extremely disappointed with the lack of notification regarding the parts not being in and my car taking 4 hours instead of 2. Firestone charges a tremendous amount of money...and I thought I would pay it based on their timeliness. I was wrong. I will be going elsewhere. YOU SHOULD AS WELL.

Eric, Nick and David were all very nice. Their team identified some repairs that needed attention when I brought my vehicle in for an alignment. They were very friendly and always able to answer my questions.

Had an appt at 10 am for an oil change and tire alignment. Called at 530 asking if it would be done today. They said, let me check, yes. I immediately called an Uber and they quoted me a 20 minute arrival. I called back and let them know I would be arriving right at close, they said they wouldn't accept my payment and return my vehicle after 6. Woman was empathetic, unapologetic, did not have any resolution like paying over the phone to offer, and gas lit me by telling me she had made me aware of the hard 6:00 cut off on payments prior and called me in plenty time when I was the one to call her near eod.. Two hours worth of scheduled services took 8 hours and then they kept the car over night, so technically 24 hours and the car is still pulling to the right. Will not be going back for a make good on the service or for any other reason. Worst experience at a Firestone I have EVER had.

Im a forever Firestone customer. Ive purchased tires here for years. They always have the tires I need or can get them next day and I can always drop it off and come back for it when they are done. They also have other services such as brakes and windshield wiper replacement etc.

I would give zero stars if I could. I took my car in for an oil change and alignment. They recommended a radiator flush. I should have known better. My car is now leaking antifreeze. They have 'fixed' it twice, but it is still leaking. Manager seems to think I should just keep driving it until it's a more convenient time for them to work on it, and that they have no responsibility to provide a safe vehicle for me to drive.

my only complaint Is that I had to go back for my tires to be balanced when I had them rotated using my warranty. u would think that they would have done that without having to be asked. other than that I have no complaints

It's been a week since I dropped my car off no one called me have to call myself. To find out what's going on should have just waited and took my car to my regular firestone who put in a new radiator in 2 days an I was back driving myself to work... Can I just come pick my car up so over it

If I could give them a zero I would. I was having trouble starting my car so I took it to them to have my battery and alternator tested. They call and tell me that both my battery, and my alternator were completely shot and needed replacing. Quoted me nearly $700 to do the job. I declined and took my car home. The battery was a brand new battery only six months old and still under warranty. I went to replace it and they tested it first, and found it was perfect. A mechanic friend came over to test my battery and alternator and they were both perfectly fine. I must have left a light on and drained my battery or something. The fact that Firestone charged me to test it (and probably never did) to tell me it falsely needed replacement. Obviously trying to completely rip me off. My car is working fine right now.

I trust Firestone at Shawnee Mission Pkwy & Nieman. The people there are up front, trustworthy and very accommodating. I went on my lunch hour for a headlamp replacement and was back to work with time to spare. The Manager actually performed the work. It is also affordable with no hidden costs. I have also purchased tires and had other work done at this location also. 5 stars.

I dropped my car off on 5/22/21 for what I thought would be a basic oil change and brake service. I got a call later that the mechanic broke some part off my car when he was removing the brake pads. I was told that it could be a number of reasons and somehow it may have been my fault? They had to order a part which arrived three days later. I know things happen but I had to miss a night of work and paid for 3 days worth of rental (which btw car rentals are quite costly currently). I was also given and paid for someone else s invoice and car. Luckily I caught it the same night and had it resolved the following morning. I was told by several people to avoid this location but I took a chance. Again, I know things happen but I wasn t impressed with auto service. One extra star for them eating the cost and labor for the part that they broke off my car. Based on my experience and just my opinion, I would not recommend this Firestone.
