10/17/14 inland truck parts remanufactured a drive shaft for my 3/4 ton Chevy Silverado hd. I paid right at $600.00. This truck was used for less than 1,000 miles over the last two and a half years. A few weeks back I started to have a bump at stops. Turns out the splined intersection on my remanufactured two piece driveshaft developed slack in it. Inlands warranty is only one year from what I was told today. Last week a trusted mechanic and friend ordered me a new driveshaft. My new driveshaft has a lifetime warranty purchased through Napa auto parts and installed by a mechanic that installs Napa auto parts. The difference in build of the driveshafts was obvious. My new one installed today dwarfs the one inland provided. I question the part they provided for the application and am disgusted with the price that I paid for an inadequate part. The difference in cost that I paid for the lifetime warranty is minuscule. Very dissatisfied customer here.
