Our experience at Conklin Cars in Salina was great. Everyone was friendly and professional. They treated us like they wanted our business and gave us a good offer, but they were not pushy. They also did not drag the process out either.

We enjoyed our experience working with Matt Wallace to obtain our Honda Pilot. He was attentive from the beginning and made the process easy. He knew we were on a time crunch and worked efficiently. I had a wonderful experience with everyone we met there. I talked to Mrs Pam the day before and she had the car I was looking at waiting on me when we got there yesterday. she had Cam help us do test drive and work with financing. We appreciate how Todd talked us through every option and helped us get the best deal we could. Mr Conklin even made sure we were well taken care of while we waited for them to bring the car around. We were there less than 3 hours and I drive off in my new car ! I highly recommend Conklin motors

I cannot speak for their new car sales, but they weren't honest with us regarding our used car that we bought from them. After roughly 15 days of buying it, it wouldn't start up in the cold.Because we live 150 miles away from Salina we had to get it to a local dealer to have an inspection. They determined that the cooling fluid was basically only water as it wouldn't even show up on their test. The end result was a roughly $250 bill to replace the coolant.I thought, well, they said we would have a 30 day warranty on the vehicle in case something were to go wrong. So I asked our sales rep about that and the answer was that they didn't want to honor it, because we didn't inform them before we had that fixed (according to management, although that wouldn't have changed anything since we are 150 miles away, so we couldn't have brought it in). Furthermore, it wouldn't be covered, because only certain parts would be included in those 30 days.On top of that, we had to have a battery replacement (another $200), because of voltage issues. The issue was that the battery was not the correct size for the vehicle. Of course that wouldn't be covered either.I would've thought since we aren't talking about big amounts of money that they would've honored their 30 day warranty, but if your vehicle has the wrong issues, you may not be covered when you buy used from them...

Good experience working with salesman Jason.Came in to test drive with the mindset I knew the value of my trade, wanted to be treated fairly and wasn t willing to take less since I was not in a position of having to purchase something different at this time.I appreciated Jason s professionalism and attention in getting me what I needed in order to make a fair deal in order to get me into a vehicle that fits the stage of life our family has moved in to and if in need of a vehicle again, will consider doing business with him again as a salesman.

Professional, friendly, and expedient service. Free snacks and drinks in the lobby and nice semi-private areas to wait. Was offered a ride to anywhere I wanted while I waited. They did what I asked and it wasn t crazy expensive. Happy with the service and I ll be back when the time comes.

After a Major oil leak due to the oil plug being replaced poorly I went in for an oil change and to speak to the service manager to tell him about it. He literally accused me of doing something! He never apologized. He did say he would comp the oil change. He said it would take 45 minutes and couldn t give me a car to drive. After an hour I called and got voicemail. After 2 hours I called back and they said it was ready. They then tried to charge me but the intake person was there and said it was comped. Very unhappy with the way I was treated.

My experience at the service department at Conklin was excellent. The person taking care of me came out to my car and had me in and out in well under an hour. He was friendly and explained everything well. I travel to Salina instead of having my car serviced in the town where I live because their service has been consistently excellent!

Great service. Very painless experience. We purchased our 2nd new van from Conklin. 3rd vehicle total. We would definitely refer everyone to them. They try to go above and beyond for us. And they explain everything in terms everyone can understand. No pressure sales tactics as well.

I am happy with the service department. I was late for two appointments (for different reasons) and they were very gracious and were able to get the work done even though the first time someone had to work past quitting time. Otherwise, I would have had to pay for a motel room since I live in Junction City. I am very grateful.

Our issue was taken care of in a timely fashion with friendly and helpful service which we had not found at another dealership. It was our first experience at Conklin and hopefully the service will remain as positive as our first encounter and even better was the fact that Honda found our problem to be cover by the warranty

Great experience dealing with Rhonda and Scott in the sales department. Really make the whole buying a vehicle seamless and transparent. I am on my third vehicle I have bought from them. I truly enjoy going there. I can't say enough good things about all of the people that work there. Sales, service, financing, parts department. All working together makes for a great experience. Helpful in fixing a cross threaded lug-nut on tire. Plus checked all other tires for any other same problems. Not cheap but worthwhile to make sure no other issues.

Electrical situation with safety equipment caused stress and possible volatile moments. To your credit the mechanic appeared and assisted in dealing professionally with me. As is oftentimes the case with electronic issues it might become ongoing. I appreciate the fact you realize that fact and are willing to ride this issue with me. Hopefully we have the matter solved but I m confident our relationship is even stronger now. This is a good shop and I plan to continue dealing with you. Thanking Tim for his thoughtfulness. I was told my recall repair would take 4-6 hours and that they didn t work from noon to 1pm for lunch. I had a 1pm appointment. I showed up very early, I drove from my home 3 hours away. Dropped car in service at 11:39am, then went inside and hunkered down for the long wait. And, i was told they absolutely do not work over lunch hour from noon to 1pm before doing so. At promptly 1pm they came into the waiting area to say my car was done. I literally asked if they had the wrong person. She double checked and said no. At this point I have no clue how they fixed it in 21 minutes or why I had to wait til 1pm then to get it back, I guess they had to go to lunch then. I was just thankful I didn t have to sit 4-6 hours as I was quoted. I didn t give five stars because telling someone that had a 6 hour round trip drive that a repair will be 4-6 hours and then it actually only taking 21 minutes and the lunch wait to retrieve it back is a lot. Again, I am very thankful it didn t take that long. But, you have no idea the anxiety this caused, since I had so far to drive round trip for this repair. I nearly came in the night before and paid for a hotel room thinking I d be sitting and waiting so long. It s really important that time be given appropriate to the situation for those of us driving such distances. The reason given to me for the discrepancy in time was, when the recalls first came out it was taking us a long time to do them, but we have them down now and it doesn t take as long . Perhaps updating your script when making the recall appointments would be a good thing now then.
