Wonderful little motel with original mid century/retro decor. We arrived during extremely cold freezing temperatures, and most of the rooms had frozen pipes when we checked in. We were given a room where the pipes were supposed to be working, but then they unfortunately also froze overnight. They did offer us a discount for that, but we didn't push it since we were just staying there to sleep during travel. The front desk was very friendly. The room was clean and spacious for the price. Would totally stay there again. Just be aware that if you're working with a computer, the room we were in was lacking grounded outlets. Adding to the retro appeal if you don't have to plug in a laptop or other grounded device. We had our service animal with us and didn't have any issues. Parking was close to the room and we had no trouble parking our cargo trailer.

We stay at The Evergreen at least twice a year from AZ to MN! They are so so kind! This place is so quaint and I love we can pull right up to the door. We have two dogs and I walk them around the property. Great price..clean and comfy! We sleep very sound!! Rooms: Rooms are clean and roomy.Safety: You get a regular key to the door and I like that!

Was driving through and Needed a room Christmas night. Rose was great from start to finish. I have stayed here before and service was very good both times. Quaint motel, very clean and love the personal service you get. Safe and pet friendly. Love that you park right outside your room also. Will definitely stay again.Rooms: Clean, love the simplicity of them.Safety: Felt safe , very well lit parking.

An inexpensive, clean, spacious, secure room with exceptional customer service. We loved staying here and will stay here again if we pass through Pratt KS. We were able to park our semi truck with no problem. The kind lady at the front desk waited for us as we were getting in pretty late for check in. It was after 11:00pm.Rooms: Clean, spacious, comfortable king bedSafety: It was so quite and the room was very secure

For an inexpensive and very clean room, you cannot get better than this!My two must haves in a room are clean and safe, which this place satisfies. The people that run the motel and front desk are very pleasant and friendly. That is a bonus on top of the clean and safe requirements. The room is very spacious. In addition to the queen bed, there is a rather large living area with a couch. There is also a side are with a desk and chair. The room has a refrigerator AND freezer as well as a microwave and TV.The bathroom is also clean and on the large side. This place also accommodates RVs although I have not seen those pads nor do I know the price. Sorry! All in all, I am extremely satisfied with my room and accomodations. As an added bonus, "Ric's restaurant" is open for business and an awesome place to have breakfast or lunch.Highly recommended for a budget room.Rooms: Spacious and clean!Safety: I feel that this is a safe place and my room is secure.

We travelled through Kansas, and stayed here. It was beautiful, clean, green grass and trees, and a pool! The room was very nice, roomy and bright. I love decor from bygone years and this bathroom was lovely and spacious. The owners are wonderful! If we'd had time, we seriously considered staying a day or two longer, a great place to stay.Rick's is right next door for breakfast.

The woman at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated after a long drive. The room was nothing exciting, and could definitely use some updating and fresh paint. Everything was immaculately clean. For the price, it was fine. My main complaint is the noise. The air conditioner is SO LOUD that it jars you awake when it turns off and on throughout the night. We tried to sleep with it off, but the traffic from the road was just as bad. There wasn't anyone at the front desk to voice my concerns to, but I completely understand since she is basically running the motel solo.

As older motels go, this is as perfect as they come. This place was built to last by real craftspeople who knew their trades. The tile in the bathrooms is vintage and perfect. Very clever details done with meticulous attention. The place has not been updated but that would be a tragedy to erase the excellently maintained charm of this cool place. It s really the tops, if life had style in 1963 in your mind.It s also really affordable.

We found this place online while on the road and were delighted. The price was very reasonable and the room was clean and had a homey touch. The owners were very pleasant. I don't usually write reviews but felt compelled this time. If you are looking for a basic hotel, to me, it was far better than the chain hotels. We just needed a stop over for the night.

This is a great family owned Motel. The owners take good care of their property and the rooms are always clean and neat. Many rooms are furnished with antique and classic fixtures and furnishings.Property is close to a great restaurant in town. The only reason for four stars instead of five is this time there was a problem with the deadbolt lock on my room. They repaired it immediately the same day. It occurred in the evening time and they still had it fixed right away.Excellent place to stay at a very affordable price. I recommended if you're in the Pratt area.

Very nice clean motel. Owners are exceptional people. Rooms are clean extended stay prices are pretty reasonable. They do have a few rooms a little bigger than others. Also have a pretty cool room that is a caboose made into hotel room we didn't stay in it but they let us look inside. They have an outside pool. Which was great. Also located next to Rick's restaurant which is nice. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This is one of the Best places we have stayed in on any of our hunting trips. Rooms were big and clean. I was impressed from the time I opened the door. We will definitely be back here next year.

Ive stayed in both the motel and campground for over a year for work. The owners are like family. Its retro, but with modern needs. The prices are great, especially when you still have leases to pay at home. Im going to miss it here when we head to the next project. Ive made a lot of friends in this tiny town.

If you're passing through Pratt, this is the place to stay! Amazing people, quiet and cozy, great amenities. Yes its vintage, but its local and family oriented. Recommended to anyone needing a nights rest. I called ahead to see if they could accomadate my semi and they were able to. Great, amazing people!

We use this spot as a roadside RV park when we are traveling to the American Southwest. Good and cheap, with fairly level spots. Although narrow, they make for a fine overnight stay. Rick's restaurant is next door, and they have a good solid Americana menu with good service. Full hook-ups are great, and it is easy to get in and out. All gravel. Nothing fancy, but wonderful for $30/night.

Best place to stay in Pratt. Rooms are clean. Showers are powerful. Owners are amazing. We keep coming back...have been staying, whenever we visit my grandparents, for over 26 years.

Have stayed here many times in the past. Our group has been coming to Kansas for over 15 years to PHEASANT HUNT ON PUBLIC LANDS (unlike what some other reviewer with an agenda posted). Rooms are nice enough and have always been clean. We sometimes camp on that public land that is less than 5 miles away, and use this motel for showers, as they have an external building with shower rooms. Please do not believe the reviewer with an agenda.

Clean, reasonable price, great mattresses. Quiet even though it is right in the highway. Pleasant front desk. Loved the bathroom and those retro fixtures! We would stay here again!
