Came in for an oil change and left. Super happy. They took me into the shop and showed me what was leaking on my car. These are great people. Pittsburg is so lucky to have a shop. That is great. Plus they gave me a loaner car . For free!

Brandon and the team were great about squeezing me in to have a flat tire repaired during an emergency situation this past Friday. Brandon really seemed to personally care about getting me back on the road with the best tire for the lowest price. Thank you so much, and I'll continue to use O'Bryan Auto Repair whenever I am in the area.

My daughter just took her car in to have them look at battery and they helped her out without any problem. It makes me feel good that she, as a college kid , can go and get help with her car. I will trust O'Bryan for her car needs while she is down there. Thank you!

Scammers. Don't trust them. They will rip you off. This is my second post since they had my first one taken down. I have a picture of the quote they gave me and would not honor. They have low character and no ethics. Don't be fooled by their smiles. They put my personal information on the web. The owner was passive aggressive and tried to placate us with coupons. I highly recommend that you get your mechanic work done somewhere else.

Thanks so much. These folks did a great job. I appreciate that the technicians showed me the issues with the car and were courteous as well. A couple of my tires were worn enough they advised me that it wasn't worthwhile to rotate them so I didn't have to spend the money. Justin wrote up an estimate for the the work that needs to be done, but was courteous when I chose not to do some of them immediately.I'll be back when it is time for another service.Gayle

Sean was very attentive to hear my concerns, addressed my vehicle's issue in a non-condescending manner, and was overall very pleasant to work with! Scheduling was easy and they were quick to get me on the books, I also appreciated the text updates throughout the day to keep me informed. The repairs were handled in a timely manner and Sean went above and beyond in his customer service. -November 2023

They put a new rack and pinion in alignment was free with a 3 yr 36,000 mile warranty. Great work very helpful and gave me a loaner car for me to get to work. I will take all my work there.

Updated: 2/23/24 see belowI would have put 0 stars if I could have. This place is definitely a dirty scam. I've never heard of two sets of brake pads costing $761. Or a pair of rotors for $615. 2 wheel bearings @280$. 2 wheel seals for $447. 1 Brake caliper for $217. They must be ordering it all from China and having it shipped around the world 5 times before it was done. You will spend more than your vehicle is worth. Don't go here. They sell ice to Eskimos. And, whenever they told me after I paid 200 for an inspection and refused, they told me it was all buttoned up and ready to go, it took another hour and a half before my tires were back on and I could actually go. Shiesty please go somewhere else. No help at all. A waist of time.After seeing this, I had to update this post to tell you his lies. I was only offered compensation if I would remove this post and others.The RV I was traveling in, is not even worth $4,000. There was no reasoning with this man. He is a shiesty businessman who is only concerned about his pocketbook. It's probably why the other location in Parsons had to close and they fired everybody.And as far as a thorough brake inspection, they never even looked at the front brakes. Tires never came off. I don't know how you call that thorough?

This place scams customers! Employees have gotten let go because they don t lie to customers about their car needing more work than it really does, inflating prices like Sean does. Sean (the owner) has been caught paying to spam business with negative reviews, as well as his own business with positive reviews. The guy blocks people on Facebook through his business page so honest reviews don t show. Pay attention to what people are calling out in these reviews! Horrible business, horrible man.EDIT after reply from business - we saved and documented everything

I found the service very satisfactory, my A/C system was rebuilt in what I consider a timely manner given the fact I drive an older car and finding parts for it can be a hassle. Three weeks later they contacted me to see how it was doing I had just a couple of concerns and they had me bring it in so they could check it again. All in all I believe they did a great job I am very happy with them all, you run a great shop Sean, thank you.Service: Air conditioning

Called to get a rough estimate on a head change for mo 01 GMC Duramax truck , couldn't and wouldn't give me a ballpark rough estimate on cost of repair , lady talked to the manager and come back with the excuse we can't do that and we are too busy to even look at it .so I ask for what the shop rate per hour was and she was even reluctant to even give that information out . All seemed kinda Fishy too meI received a call on a Saturday from Shawn to explain why they don't do estimates. After a long conversation he did refer me to a place that are suppose to be experts on Duramax trucks.

They are literally the busiest shop in town with the least amount of parking. It s terrible what the city is doing to this great business I will always come here for my oil changes.

Have them come out on site and repair the alternator on my semi. They did a great job. I was really surprised that it was the owner of the company out there doing it.

If you want to be talked to like you re stupid & taken advantage of go ahead and swing by Obryans. Took my car in to see why the check engine light had popped on,sat there for hours & was told I needed some very very expensive repairs decided to use my common sense & check with another local mechanic shop & was told my issue was the gas cap. So $15 & 5 mins later my issue was fixed!! Decided to give obryans another try bc I ve heard decent things about them & needed to get in on short notice. so I made an appointment for my oil change. On the phone I was asked if I needed or wanted anything else looked at & I said NO! Tell me why my husband takes my car into get the oil change & they look at my car for over an hour before ever even starting the oil change! Then they came out & told my husband that my car has an oil leak. It does NOT. So he mentioned it to them & a few mins later they come out and say they made a mistake and there is no leak just like we said! Had we not spoke up they would ve charged us for a leak that was never there. Wonder how many people are scammed everyday by this place because they don t have any vehicle knowledge or know to seek another opinion. don t fall for their coupon scam. They want you to do their free 15 min inspection that actually takes over a hour so they can create issues that aren t even there. Pay the extra & go somewhere trustworthy.

Update: the problem they fixed came back! I took my car back in and they told me the new issue wasn t related to the old issue. Got a second opinion: the second mechanic pulled out the part they fixed to find it had a ripped diaphragm and was in fact defective. Review changed to 1* based on a lack of ownership of the problem and trying to gas light me by saying, all cars make that noise. Either they aren t experts or they are liars, either way I d never go back. previous Review: 5*, Offered a fast reliable repair at a reasonable price.

Went in for an oil change and they checked over the whole vehicle for us without chargin us except for our oil change all for $40. And had my other vehicle lookin GREAT after the repairs they had to do. Great people and amazin work. The best automotive shop I've been to. Definitely recommend them for anything. I would recommend O'bryans to anyone needing a quality repair shop.Had my 08 Hummer in for repairs and Garrett fixed it like new. They took my Route 66 warranty and I was very impressed with the clean shop and the use of a loaner car.

After a long night of trial and error and a ultimate failed attempt at lowering my Silverado 1500 I realized that my vehicle was so misaligned that I was unable to drive it! O'Brien's got me right in and corrected all of the issues got me realigned and recalibrated and was happy to help they did all of this the same day at a very righteous cost.. they were happy to answer any questions offer advice offer options and get exactly what I needed done quick! And the staff is awesome! Everyone from the receptionist to the owner has been great professional fast and courteous .. even vacuumed my floors for me! I know for now on if I have any Service Repairs or questions about my Silverado I'm going to O'Brian's for it! Thanks again guys

Took my car in for an estimate for my car wreck. Told me no problem. Call a couple days later and they say their estimate guy is out till next week so they expected to hold my car over a week without telling me before hand? They tell me they have the photos and could *maybe* do a remote estimate I get a call from my insurance saying they ll have it ready by end of week. 2 weeks later I have to find out from my insurance that they have been radio silent.. honestly ridiculous. You can t trust a thing they say.

I would never let anyone I care about bring their vehicle here. I am so disappointed with the services of this company. We have been without our truck since the end of March, causing quite the hardship considering we have two children. We were told the issue was one thing, but 3 months and 14K later we are told that the truck needs a whole new motor. I see that on the other reviews the owner says he prides himself on five star reviews and to call to speak with him directly- but for us he was near impossible to reach. We have receipts of texts with broken timelines of when things would be fixed and excuse after excuse- and in the end NOTHING was done to make things right. We now have a truck that seems to be in worse condition than when it arrived. Horrible.

I had a horrible experience at this place. All I wanted was to see what was wrong with my car and then they proceed to tell me I can t take my car off their lot without a tow truck. I just needed the key to my vehicle to give it to the guy that would be towing my vehicle after hours. But instead I end up getting yelled at saying it is not safe to drive the tire is going to come off . When I repeatedly told them over and over again that I was not driving it I just needed the key. Not only that they tried telling me my whole front end was basically going out and it was going to cost me $1,000 for all the damages to make it drivable. I just had the front end replaced on the car 6 months ago and the vehicle was only driven around Pittsburg and since I ve already experienced the front end going out I know what it feels like and this is clearly not the same thing. And how was my tire supposedly going to come off the vehicle when the only weird thing going on with it was a grinding sound not even the steering wheel was shaking?!?! I will not be doing business here again and I am taking the car to get a second opinion from the same person that did the work on the front end.

Our truck broke down on our way to Arkansas. We immediately called this company and they were able to get our truck towed to them. The manager told us that it would be the first priority in the morning. He even came to the shop after hours to greet us and even offered company and a shaded porch to stay while we got a hotel for the night. The next morning we received a call about our truck and they got to work fixing it. We had a job interview to get to, so they were fast to get us back on the road. They also gave us a very fair price for the work. We were very happy with their service. Later on that day after our interview, the truck acted up and wouldn t start. We called them and they stated it was under warranty and to bring it back. As soon as our truck arrived back they were quick to get it worked on and they did not charge us for the work. I highly recommend this company for their services. They are very professional, friendly, and hard working. I cannot thank them enough for what they have done for us.

I took my veloster to them to use a oil change coupon and after spending an hour and a half on it they come out and say all 4 tires are almost bald I needed new brakes and quoted me at 1100 for new everything. I went in for a oil change. Then I go to another mechanic and one tire was almost bald and my brakes were still at 7MM. Never again will I bring anything to them.

Absolutely outstanding service from the mechanics at O Bryans automotive repair! I have always had bad experiences with auto shops in the past ever since I started driving but let me tell you these guys turned that around and I left with a smile!
