You either get someone who knows what they're talking about or the polar opposite, no in between. Half the time the staff is rude and wants to talk back to you. And for that reason I've started using O'Reilly, they're the polar opposite

My oil light came on and I checked the dipstick and it was completely dry. I drove straight to AutoZone and the manager came out and looked at things for himself. A friend of his happened to stop and got under my car and told me it was the gasket to the oil filter. The manager put in a quart of oil, checked the dipstick and decided one more quart to be safe. I left knowing my car would not have further damage and what I needed to do the next day. I appreciate the time they took to help me the way they did.

I was traveling back to Colorado from Arkansas in high winds and my hood latch on my passenger side snapped Jacob helped me with the parts and the installation so I could make it home safe. A+ to this man so grateful for his knowledge and professionalism

I would like to start by saying, everyone there was very friendly. However, no one seemed to know what they were doing besides the wonderful lady to helped me place my order originally, Michelle. I bought some spray paint in the store (on Saturday night) and paid for them to bring in another 2 cans in case I needed them that would arrive the next day (Sunday afternoon). I ended up not needing them. I went in Sunday morning for some other supplies and requested to be refunded for the 2 cans being brought in. The "guy in charge" pulled up my order and said it had not been paid for (found out later this was Sam, the store manager) and they didn't know if they could find my receipt from less than 24 hours ago. Since the paint wasn't in yet and they said it would have a receipt attached when they arrived I left with my things to come back later. I returned in the afternoon helped by a new person, she was very nice, she found one can that had been delivered with no receipt and she said it could only be refunded by gift card since they can not find previous receipts. I asked several people if they knew how to find a previous transaction since they had my phone number as most stores do, but they all said they were either "new" "didn't know" or "had to ask someone else". I finally went back Monday when Michelle was working and she solved this in a matter of a few minutes and was very friendly and apologetic. I am very disappointed in every person's (except Michelle) lack of knowledge of how to help customers, the only redeeming quality was how polite they were.

Today, I tried taking back a Duralast Gold battery that was purchased 2 years ago. The employee was incredibly gruff and abrupt from the minute he finished helping the people ahead of us, like he was annoyed that my kids and I waited patiently for our turn. When I didn't know the specifics of the system my dad had used to try to charge the battery before determining it was bad, he outright told me that I wasn't very helpful. He kept asking "what do you want to do?" but he didn't tell me what my options were?? I thought if you had a bad battery, you took it in and got a new one, I don't know what other options there are?My husband who died 2.5 months ago bought the battery, so I don't have all of the answers since stuff like this is very out of my depth of experience. The battery is from his vehicle which has just been sitting for months and today I was finally ready to force myself to start to deal with it. I thought the people at AutoZone would be kind, or at least civil, but I was wrong. I ended up taking the bad battery, leaving, and crying.

Great staff. Willing to help and even go beyond. Provided much better service than O Reilly s. Replaced a battery the competitor said they couldn t, for no charge. AutoZone will be my go to for auto parts.

Very clean location. Helpful, friendly staff. My boyfriend was able to get his car battery tested, as well as a replacement battery in under 5 minutes.

Always helpful. Some staff are more knowledgeable, but that's the same everywhere. Only complaint is that they seem to be out of at least one thing that I'm after so I have to order a lot of the time.

I called in advance to ensure they had the part we needed. They found the part in stock and placed a hold on it until I could get into town to purchase it. When I arrived in store, the young man that assisted me was polite, knowledgeable and not afraid to get out on the sales floor and help me find the extras that were ewjqked to move the suggested let

I had an amazing experience with the manager there. I have a better car and had a headlight go out on me. The way the car is built it made changing it extremely difficult. The manager came out installed it and made sure it was working before even charging me. Great experience!! He was extremely helpful!

Costumer service seemed to not have a clue as to what i was trying to order. An easy 22mm 1/2in. drive shallow drive torque socket. They seemed eager to get rid of any costumer coming in and were extremely snappy. Overall maybe 3 employees there know what they are doing, others seem to have little to no experience, and they dont seem to be very reliable on orders. Think i will go elsewhere for my Talon project.

Okay here truth. I pulled into their store at 10 till 9 they close at 9 Sharp. The person that waited on me look up my warranty, sold me a replacement battery, and had to stay late to install it in the pickup. Very polite salesperson. And I know that they stayed open path what does supposed to to put my battery in. Thank you AutoZone!

This is my go to auto parts store whenever I don't have time to wait for an online shipment or need. I also like their loan a tool program, it has really helped when I needed a specialty tool but couldn't afford one. The only bad experience I've had was after I placed an online order for same day pick-up. I received their order is ready for pick-up email, yet when I got to the store it wasn't ready. They waited untill I got there to even start gathering it all together. It was mildly irritating but nothing that would deter me to another parts store.

I had to go to this place THREE times before I went home with the correct part! The first time I went in I told the gentleman behind the counter that my back brakes were making a grinding noise so I needed new brake pads for the back. He told me the make and model of my car did not have brakes on the back tires and instead sold me brake pads for the front of my car. My husband changed them solely because we figured the man knew what he was talking about. I took it out for a test drive to see if that fixed it and to no surprise, my brakes were still making a grinding noise coming from the back! So I went back and told the same man this and requested for him to get what I needed to change my back brake pads; he did so. Once I got home I found out that he gave me drum brakes for an entirely different vehicle! I jumped in my car and went directly back to try one last time to get the part I needed and after a 20 minute conversation with a different man about what all had happened he finally went behind the counter to retrieve the part I needed...AND GOT IT RIGHT!! I was very displeased with my experience at this place all 3 times I went here. The workers weren't very friendly and obviously have absolutely no idea what they're doing. I recommend you drive the extra 30ish minutes to go to the one in Pittsburg or Nevada.

Absolutely AWESOME customer service! Our truck broke down a couple blocks from the store, and they drove to it it twice...once to test for the problem and then to give us a power boost to the battery so we could drive back to the store. Something that would have cost in excess of $300 and several days in the shop was accomplished by $110 for a new alternator and a few minutes with the borrowing of tools. Thank you, Pittsburg Auto Zone!

They are always friendly and happy to help , have a wide selection of parts, and if they don't have it, offer friendly and convenient options to get it in a reasonable time period. All in all? Easy going and well learned in cars and thats just how I like it.

They are very attentive to customers. Very helpful, although they have sold me the wrong part a couple times, but they allowed exchange due to their mistake.

What a joke! Bought a wheel bearing hub assembly that went bad twice in less than 2 months! The second time I took it in to just get my money back the manager William K threw a huge fit and was yelling and acting like a child to me when I asked about being reimbursed for the labor I paid for having it put on. The first time it happened it was no problem and they gave me a new hub assembly and paid for the labor , but this second time I got yelled at and was talked to like I was an idiot by William. I was eventually told to call back and ask for the general store manager Donna and when I did she would not even take my call! I will never step foot inside another auto zone anywhere for the rest of my life if that's how they are going to do business...

I don't love working on my car, but Autozone, well, at least the employees who work there make it much more enjoyable. They are friendly, knowledgeable and in the freezing cold stepped outside to help me diagnose a problem I was having with my car...and this on more than one occasion! I really appreciate those guys.
