You just don t find more knowledgeable car audio people in KC, their crew is absolutely amazing!! I ve been a customer for over 30 years and it s because I ve never have had a single complaint. Most recently, they set me up with new door speakers that hands down are the BEST sounding speakers I ve had to date.

Custom Dash Cam Installation: Had Santa Fe Auto Sound hard-wire install a BlackVue DR900S-2CH Dual Lens Dash Cam for the front and back, along with the magic pro battery on our Audi SUV.I appreciated that they actually took appointments and had a pretty good estimate as to how much it would cost and the time it would take to complete the job. I was able to book an appointment for 1 week later. The installation took a little bit longer than expected, but their estimate was nearly spot on and fair.The Magic Pro Battery pack was set on 12V and infinity mode and they were able to hide the battery for me. The installation went very smoothly. I used a BlendMount Dashcam Aluminum Rearview Mirror Mount (so that I wouldn't have to place any adhesive on the front window- would go to blendmount website to enter your specific car to get the proper mount). Santa Fe Auto Sound was able to hide the wire through and through and even along the rear trunk (see image), so that wiring would not be exposed externally.They were very accommodating and able to answer any questions. I would probably leave the car next time and come back to pick it up, but they did have complimentary wifi there.Thanks Santa Fe Auto. They sold me a Digital Design M4000 amp for $1200 that was 3 years old date of production and DD discontinued the model so no manufacturer warranty to repair it well within the 1 year date of purchase

They played me cut corners on my install and in the end it ended up costing me more money. It wasn t until I got up in there myself, and saw what they did. I m disgusted

Their install work is good. However labor is way overpriced. $140.00 an hour install for anything they don't sell. I get they want to maximize profits by selling their product with a markup plus an install charge however they don't sell every component or brand I want. Or offer competitive prices. A sneaky way to force customers to buy their products. This is not the late 80's and 90's when car stereo was the rage with lots of choices and store competition. I think they realize this is a pretty much dead industry and they're trying to money grab / gouge to stay afloat. If they want to continue they should come up with a new business model.

The crew at Santa Fe is awesome, it was an absolute pleasure working with them. I felt like they were just as excited as I was to upgrade the audio in my car. The work was done in just a few hours and the end result is better than I imagined. Thanks!!!

I used Santa Fe for the first time 12/18/20 for a 10" Stinger head unit upgrade for my 2021 Wrangler JLU. They were wonderful to work with, the work was done as scheduled, and I'm happy with the install & product. I will absolutely use them again & recommend them to others.

Extremely overpriced charged me $1300 to remove my audio system. Got it done for $300 elsewhere.

Great people, really willing to go the extra mile for you. They saved me a lot of time and money diagnosing an electrical issue, then ordered the part for me and installed it quickly the next day! I couldn't be happier. This place should be your first stop for car audio.

pretty happy with the service and the bang for my buck. did have an initial problem with my install but was able to take it back and get seen very quickly and the problem resolved quickly as well. so highly recommend!

So,About 5 years ago,I got my 06 f250 worked on.They replaced all my speakers, put a new head unit and left hook ups for installing my own amps and subs.Was super happy with their service and Jl audios quality/affordability.They made sure all door panels where solid on reinstall and didn't leave a mess.I went inthere like 2 weekends ago to pick up a 12" to add to my truck and my 1st 12".They didn't have the model I wanted but had a slightly more expensive model which I bought. Service was the same and everyone was friendly.10/10 my vehicle audio place.

Radio selection seems smaller than what I expected and the installation pricing is crazy high, like 3 times the purchase amount of the radio itself. The store itself looks nice and the staff is friendly, but that's the limit of my compliments. Sorry, just a bit too pricey for my taste.

Took my 05 silverado in for an alarm system install. Friendly staff, upfront and easy process. Had me in and out in a half day. Will be going back for future work needed

The staff did well as far as putting my car alarm in but not too welcoming or helpful. If I decide to improve my sound system I will go somewhere else. They seem happy to shoot the breeze with other men but if you don't fit into that category you are largely ignored.

Had them hardwire a radar detector. I provided the equipment and paid a very reasonable per hour labor charge. Staff was very friendly and service was completed quickly and to my satisfaction! Hadn t been in their store for over 20 years. Very nostalgic. Will be returning with future projects.

Brought my bike in for audio work. They did a very thorough job of diagnosing and fixing the issues that were present with the audio as well as other issues that weren t apparent at the time. In the process of getting the fuel tank back on, the tech accidentally broke a connective piece that created a tremendous amount of stress and frustration on my end. He handled the situation perfectly and truly embodied what quality customer service means. They did everything in their power to make the situation right and even though the issue was beyond aggravating for all parties, they handled themselves like a class act of professionals. Can t thank them enough for making the best of a bad situation and making the deal right in the end. I highly recommend Santa Fe audio and will be utilizing them for all audio needs in the future.

There is a reason everyone says they are the best. They Are! They didn't pressure sales, the installation was Perfect. They went above and beyond helping me out with cleaning the instrument panel cover, when the detailing shop I went to said No they wouldn't touch it. They took the time to review the new head unit and made sure I was fully versed in its functions and how to use it. Who Does That? I have bought new cars from dealers and they don't do that. These guys were professional, and absolutely the best. So happy I went there. BTW I had no idea my stereo system could sound that good. It is amazing!

Place had an attitude about itself. Called several months ago about a remote starter for my Highlander...guy quoted me a price for about 250.00...went in today now they want 415.00..I mentioned the 250.00 quoted price and the dude got a smirk on his face and stated they never sold it for that price. So I said ok on the 415.00 price and he said late January was the earliest they could get to it and wanted a 50% deposit. I said forget about that.. another case of Johnson County snooty attitude...

I pulled a bonehead move and had the guys here order some parts without me taking a closer look at what I already had. Once Scott realized it, he was totally cool with refunding the deposit I'd left earlier. Transparency much appreciated.

Extremely impressed with customer service & grateful for their efficiency in resetting my bluetooth radio, even without having an appointment. Will definitely be using their services & sending people I know here for any auto sound needs.

Didn't seem too engaged if you're not buying high-end. When picking up the vehicle after install, the guy came out to ,'make sure all ok'. Once I started the vehicle and turned on radio, he was gone. No orientation, no explanations, literally took the money and ran. Underwhelmed, not a experience I would recommend.

I asked for a box to be tuned to 32 hz and be 5 cubic foot. They made it 6.5 cubic foot and tuned to 24 hz. Not only that the box only lasted 6 months! Waste of 700.dollars. they didn't even use a single wood screw in the box. The sub weighed close to 100 lbs and not a single screw. Don't waste your time or money. Go elsewhere

Wow. I needed their help in identifying whether I had an after market alarm on my car. They didn't charge me a penny to check it out but their hourly fee was very competitive. I will definitely use them again for any future auto sound/alarm needs!

Santa Fe Auto sound installed stereo up grade on my Harley Davidson first .excellent sound! Had issue with my bike eating the left rear speaker wire went back they jumped right on the repair made it right like it had never happened. Thanks Dave . I clearly see why you ve been in business 54 years excellent customer service!!!

Bought a car from a nobody car lot, The nobody tried to install an after market radio & failed terribly. Brought our car to Santa Fe Auto Sound, they fixed the butched wiring job & installed the radio at a fair price.

They put a remote starter kit in, as well as a drone mobile kit so I can control it from anywhere with my smartphone. Great job!Great service! Great knowledge! Took care of my needs and were very patient and took a lot of care to answer questions to make sure I understood their answers. If medical doctors took a lesson from these guys on how best to answer questions and put someone at ease, there would be a lot of lower blood pressures. I would definitely recommend them.

Recently had remote start installed for Infiniti, works awesome as its incorporated into the existing key fob as well as cell phone. A little snafu during installation that was addressed and taken care of without question. I am pleased with their work and can attest that this shop operates with a sense of integrity. Highly Recommend.

Bought a lesser-expensive unit, but the display wasn't bright enough because of the goofy angle of my dash. I upgraded to a different model, and they didn't charge extra for re-installation! I was really pleased, to say the least.Then had a parasitic battery drain problem after installation of my second stereo, and spent time and money with another place chasing the problem, thinking it couldn't have been the brand new stereo. Finally brought it back to Santa Fe Auto Sound. They spent almost five hours diagnosing the problem, found a defective computer interface module that the other place didn't, and it was all covered under warranty for my Kenwood unit that they originally installed!They even stayed nearly 30 minutes after hours to get me going, because I really needed the vehicle the next day.These guys stand behind their work, and they do it all with a cheerful, "can-do" attitude. Trust in them for your next auto sound work...you won't be sorry!
