Been coming here for years. Had a road rash incident on my motorcycle last week. The window tint folks did a great job on the saddle bag damage at a very reasonable price.

Chad ordered some custom rims for my BMW X5M Comp. The fitment and offset were perfect. Gave the car a much more aggressive stance. His crew also did a full front Xpel wrap and I couldnt have asked for a more perfect job......edges and seams were flawless. You get what you pay for at KC Trends.

We originally scheduled for a Wednesday but it ended up not working. I called and rescheduled the appointment, to a Friday. We I called to reschedule the guy I talked to, gave me quotes that were over $500 to low. Drove 50 minutes to come here as the shop was highly recommended. Get down here and told my appointment was actually on Saturday. They offered to fit me in way later in the evening, which wasn't realistic for me, as I live over 50 minutes away and had no desire to just hang out in Overland Park for the whole day with a small child. When I rescheduled the appointment I verified the day and date over 3 times on the phone, then to get down here and told my appointment wasn't till tomorrow. Very upset and we will never recommend to anyone or come back.

Chad & team @ KC Trends know their stuff. If you want wheels/tires with proper fitment, this is the place to go. You'll pay a pretty penny, but they hook it up. Here's my GTI that they put some TSW Chrono wheels and Toyo tires on for me. I'll be back here for my next car!

Long story short I ordered a rear steel bumper because I had some damage on my stock bumper from backing into a pole. When I ordered a rear steel bumper to a dealership body shop to fix it, they told me that it would not accommodate my "blind spot monitors." I ended up having to sell it on Facebook market place for almost half of what I payed retail "1000". Someone mentioned to me that I should goto KC Trends and have them get me hooked up. I went in and they had already done business with some of my family members before... When I talked to the head guy at KC Trends he said there would be no problem in finding one that accommodates the BSM. In fact we found one for half the price! My bumper was suppose to be in the shop by the 16th of July to get installed. I didn't receive a single call or voice message, I had to reach out on the 27th of July to ask if my bumper had arrived, to which a woman replied stating that it had been there. 2 hours after dropping my truck off, I get a call telling me that the bumper they ordered doesn't actually accommodate the BSM. I basically told them to put it on anyways because I have been trying to install a rear steel bumper for over 3 months now. They then charged me $400 for labor and couldn't even install the bumper correctly, there was a 3 inch gap on one side and the thing looked practically crooked. They blamed it on my truck having "warpage" from backing into a pole at less than 5MPH. I went to an established body shop to see if this was the case and it indeed was not. There was no structural damage whatsoever! They then installed my bumper for correct for $125 of labor. Only reason I give this place two stars is because the bumper they gave me looks good when it's properly installed:)

Web site is super easy to navigate. Found what I wanted, called the store, paid a deposit, and wheels arrived in less than a week. Very smooth process.Customer service is excellent. I'm not a car guy, so I'm basically an idiot in shops like this - I just needed new wheels due to corrosion. The two people I dealt with were super helpful.Appointment was quick, just over an hour from hitting the door to driving away. They don't do OEM replacements, which I wanted originally. Fine. But now I have absolutely badass wheels for basically the same price, and my maintenance issue is resolved.

Just had my first experience with KC Trends getting some new tires and wheels installed on my 2020 F-150. The communication, customer service, and attention to detail were outstanding. I highly recommend them. Thank you KC Trends from a very satisfied customer.

Even after speaking to the owner Chad and him assuring me a great customer service experience I received the worst customer service EVER. Mind you this is prior to my purchase. So they never earned my business, in fact it was as if they completely turned me away. I can t believe they would treat a customer the way they treated me. Oh btw they never called me back To order my wheels like they told me they would.Update: I went to American Fusion Wheels. I received a much much better customer service experience, they ordered me exactly what I wanted at half the price of KC trends Along with upgrades KC trends never offered. I m so happy I did my research. If you price what I ordered at American fusion wheels compared to the estimate I finally received from KC trends- the savings were tremendous.. A couple thousand.Today 6/8 Chad emailed me back extremely upset and being very defensive. I even proved to him my receipt and although i saved thousands he FAILED TO PAY FOR MY PURCHASE. As an owner he threatened me in writing and everything he said about paying for my purchase was false. I proved to them I paid way less and he still got his feathers ruffled. This place is a joke. The way he s responded in the past to other customers just shows what a piece of trash Chad is. I m glad I took my business elsewhere, KC trends does not deserve a customer like myself not my hard earned money.

I've been a faithful customer here since 2010, spent tens of thousands of dollars over the years on my personal and business vehicles as well as referring customers, even when they may be more expensive than alternative options I may have. Brand loyalty, and local is something I try to support. All of that said a little disappointed that 2 center caps on my wives vehicle fell off promptly after installation by KC Trends. Upon bringing this to their attention, little to no responsibility or ownership was taken for this minor but also fairly clear mistake. I had to pay half of the replacement cost of these center caps because staff claimed "they must have been stolen" and "there's no way to prove it was their mistake" . Seems a bit of a stretch to assume someone in Johnson County snuck into my locked garage with cameras and took 2 Nissan center caps. Being a car guy and owning a business in the automotive Industy the much more likely culprit is broken tabs on the pressure ring upon removal/ re-installation. Anyways, the principal of the matter is I believe a longtime and loyal customer is MUCH more valuable than deflecting responsibility for a small mishap to save 60 dollars.

I've been doing business with KC Trends for 25 years. Since the Johnson Drive store. Chad the owner has always been very friendly and helpful. I am part of the car enthusiasts community, so I'm very knowledgeable about this stuff in general. But even for a novice, his staff will help you out and not make you feel stupid in the process as I've witnessed this many times in the store. Plenty of folks come in not really sure of exactly what they want or need. And every time I've been there (I'm there pretty often) the novice customer ends up with a smile on their face and satisfied with their plan, service and work.I had PPF (Paint protection film, which is clear) done on the front end of my car. Dave is great at it, and very easy to talk to. I had imperfections on my front end from rock chips and Dave touched those up with some touch up paint that I brought, and then he PPF'd the front end. They used top of the line self healing PPF with a 10 year warranty on it....No real issues with the PPF after I checked it for several days afterwards, meticulously. He did all the touch up paint, plus the PPF on the front end of my car, and it was all done in like 6 hours. Same day. You cant really ask for better service. I haven't even talked about the plentiful other specialties they do, like wheels/tires, tint, and many other services and products they offer. This is not some junky operation they're running here, it never has been that way. Trends and staff do high end vehicles on a regular basis with celebrity clientele fairly often. No matter what car you have whether its a Honda or Rolls Royce Wraith... These guys can handle it and are experienced. If you're a meticulous car guy (like me) or if you're just a novice looking to spice up your vehicle. I don't recommend anyone else but KC Trends.

Extremely pleased. I tried a traditional tire store and the only thing they suggested was replacing the exact same size tires and wheels. They had no idea what would fit. I also tried a local 4 WD shop but they seemed like a bunch of gear heads that were stumped unless I wanted to add a 2" lift to my Jeep. Luckily I found Angie at KC Trends. She is a Jeep Goddess and knew exactly what would fit and help "sexy up" my Jeep. She was very easy to talk with and my baby had new shoes within 2 days. Couldn't be more pleased with Angie and the guys in the back who did the work. It was a quick and efficient process. You have a great team!

I had PPF (Paint protective film) installed on my c8 corvette. It looks great. I dealt with Chad and then talked with David, who was one of the installers that worked on my car. Both were great to deal with. Very happy customer.

Jack did an amazing job helping me figure out the right tire and wheel combination for my F250. Awesome selection and tons of knowledge. Every time I was in the store, I felt like I was the most important thing going on. Classy, competitively priced, and great service. I will definitely recommend to anyone looking for automotive customization.

By far the best experience at any store I've had in a long time. The people in this store are wonderful from the guys up front to the guys out back. After hours and multiple trips to the dealership and trips to another tire store these guys were able to fix my problem. I was able to go out back and watch them "road force" balance my tires. They let me see the whole process involved. You wouldn't believe the machine they have. It's a 20 minute drive for me but I will never buys my tires anywhere else.

Super quick turn around on getting my windows tinted and they never seemed annoyed at me asking the same question on multiple calls because I kept forgetting what the different %s were. Very happy with the product, they were upfront and not "salesy" and didn't try to upsell or get me to purchase more than I needed.

I have been dealing with Chad and Angie since 2010 and purchased multiple sets of wheels/accessories for my F250 and my families cars. The are knowledgeable on everything they sell and provide a high level of service when installing your purchase. I also dealt with Jack this purchase and was impressed with his customer service and knowledge.I've always recommended this business to friends. Well managed.

SHADY------I spoke to Jack about tires for my car, and yes ordered them, but within 10 minutes I called back and told Jack I would have to wait and would call back when ready. To my mistake I did not get him to say :He cancelled the order:"- when I saw the pending transaction on my card I called back again, same day, and this time spoke to a lady. I told her the situation and she advised she did not see any orders for me. My credit card company stated the charge had not come through and would probably fall off. My card was charged and I called back- This time I spoke to Brian. He stated I had to talk to Jack whose new story was he told me they were a special order, he had the tires and there would be a 10% restocking fee. I have never seen a special order ANYTHING in 2 days. ....like I said SHADY.

My husband and I have spent a lot of money with KC trends. They have been good.. but for someone that s had three cars done not just rims... I m talking tint and stereo systems put in... on all three vehicles . That s a lot of money. One of my Rims I bought with them cracked. On the back side. The guy immediately blamed pot holes prior to seeing it.. the lady who works here.. which I believe to be the owners wife.. said they wouldn t know until the tire comes off.. which seems more correct. I asked the gentleman to hold on my Rims while i waited for the other to come in and he said no immediately since they don t have room . To me that s a joke. Then the lady said well you can hold her one rim and get it switched out with the tire put on so she doesn t have to wait when she gets here.. which is what he should have offered.. she didn t make me pay for the rim prior to it coming in.. which I would have told her I wanted to wait anyways. If it s warranty.. so right now.. I m waiting for the rims to be put on.. they used to have a table for customers to sit at.. which now they don t? Standing while I wait for service seems a little ridiculous. I gave them 3 stars.. since they aren t completely terrible but somethings needs to be fixed when it comes to customer service.

Excellent service all around the shop, they did a excellent job and my window tint. You can tell the store is ran very well from the owner to all other workers. I would definitely come back for more product. By the way the store was very easy to find !!! :). Maybe some new rims would be the next step

We had a complication on a suspension component install which happens. Several hours of mechanical labor and some machining was required to resolve the issue and Chad stepped up. This is uncommon to see a shop fully stand behind their work and it says GREAT things about the integrity of the owner and his business! Mistakes happen, it's how the shop responds that separates the shady from the excellent. KC Trends is worth trusting!

This shop gives amazing service and some of the best prices in the city. Whether you're driving a Ford or a Ferrari, Chad and the crew are always helpful and full of knowledge about anything car related. I've had four cars worked on by them, and I've been happy with all of the work I've had done, which ranges from wheels and tires to audio to suspension to window tint. Also Fast Fridays is one of the coolest events in the city, hands down.

Tires and wheels purchased. A tad on the expensive side. When I went to swap summer for winter wheels, the tech or sales person did not instruct or supply a "key" and 20 lug studs that should only be used with those wheels. Luckily I am a gear head and did not use my stock lug studs on the new wheels. Could have caused some serious damage and a safety hazard. Be careful and be sure to ask questions and always inform and supply your customers with the necessary tools to happily and safely enjoy them.

Will NEVER use their services or purchase anything from them again.UPDATE:Apparently someone at your shop is confused. I paid $150 to reseal the beads on 4 tires, yet even after bringing it to you twice, one of my tires is still flat.... I even showed them where the leak (around the beads) is occurring. (Your techs response... "um, yeah, we aired it up").Never again.
