Got a flat tire that was under warranty from Costco. Took it in when I found it, it was about 4pm, they were full. Understandable. Advice was to come in when they open to do it. I work an early shift that starts at 5:45am, so I couldn't make it in until Saturday, 2 days later. I've been driving on a spare now for 2 days, and going more than 50 miles on them can be bad and cause expensive repairs, so I'd like to get it fixed ASAP since it's fairly urgent to get off the spare. Come in Saturday when they open at 9:30, walk to a nearby coffee shop to read and spend the day there. I call around 3pm, they say it will be ready by 6pm, they haven't started on it yet. Still no call at 6, so I go back over amd at 6:15 they tell me they've just started working on it, but it will be ready by close. Here we are at close and it's still not ready. When there's a repair as urgent as this, it should not have to take this long to get to it, and I should not have to drive on my spare more.It would seem there are plenty other reviews with the exact same problem. It is not normal for a repair center to take this long for repairs like this, something needs to change please.

The service I have experienced on several occasions is very disappointing to say the least. A while ago I had a puncture and since the puncture was too close to the tire wall, I had to have a new tire. The new tire as replacement was not in stock. Mind you, I bought those tires at Costco. They told me to go online and find myself a Michelin Defender, order it, have it delivered at my house and then take it to Costco to have it installed. It makes me wonder why Costco couldn't order the tire themselves and give me a call for installation at a later point in time. Then a few months later I had another puncture. I went to Costco and the told me they could not work me in at that time. The following day I arrive at 11 AM (9 hours before closing) to be denied service again. Then 2 days later I arrive at 745 pm to see none of the garages occupied by cars , so I go in and was told: "We can not pull a nail out of the tire without a supervisor present". So much for paying for road hazard warranty and then Costco not honoring said warranty, by denying me service on three separate occasions. All in all this level of service is completely unacceptable. I wish leadership would step in and make improvements.

Stay away from this tire shop. They use inexperienced mechanics who do not know what they are doing. I had them balance my wheels and now I have a massive vibrations in the vehicle AFTER they balanced them. What a joke how hard is it to do this simple task.

OPK Tire Center needs to get it together. I had a scheduled tire rotation that took 2 hours. A bunch of young people in the garage hanging out, some working, some standing around jamming. The worst part is there s only one person at the service desk soooo once your car pulls out of the garage and they call you, you get to stand in line another 35 minutes just to get your keys.

Got off work at 5pm to find my tire is flat. Manage to get some air in it to get me to Costco to see if they can help, since they are open until 8:30pm... and every other place closes at 6pm or 7pm. I'm told they can't help me because they are already overbooked and short staffed. So now I'm sitting at their air station, waiting on Roadside Assistance to help me, since no one here can be bothered to help change my tire. Impeccable customer service. Really...top notch.

This review is for the Lenexa Tire Center. I went in person to the store to get a quote for Michelin Defender tires and a credit for the tires that did not last the reported mileage/warranty (purchased at Costco). I was given all sorts or reasons why I couldn't get a credit, including being told that I might have a bad suspension. The person didn't even look at my car which is taken to the Dealership for all required maintenance. I was told that if I wanted to purchase the tires, I would have to come in again instead of calling on the phone. So I went to Discount Tires where I received great customer service and a price lower than Costco's. I will get free tire rotation/balancing and air checks from Discount Tires without the hassle of having to find a parking space and experiencing poor customer service at the Tire Center.

What a DISAPPOINTMENT - UPDATE1st time used their service to change tires. Just went to pick up the car today, the steering wheel was completely locked. When my husband tried to put the key in, it wouldn't go in of course. The Ignition didn't feel right, everything was lockedA supervisor name Terry came out, unlocked the wheel and apologize.when my husband put the key in, the ignition felt different, tight and couldn't go in smoothly. Call them back again and the supervisor named Terry said he didn't know who pulled out the car, who locked the wheel, nothing he could tell me. He said it just happened sometimes. We have been driving this car for 12 years, dropped off in numerous different mechanic but never ever had such 'sometimes wheel will lock' problem.I asked who changed the tires, who worked on our car, guess what, he said he didn't even know!!! Are you kidding me that you don't even know who worked on our car? so if something didn't do right, we would not know or they couldn't find out who did the repair?? That's totally unacceptable at all. He said there's nothing they can do or explain, suggested us to go back there to file a complain and fill a form for insurance. Never expect this will be a standard of Costco. I would NOT recommend this tire centerI will surely write an update after we go back up there againUPDATED: The Car would NOT Start now. the key could NOT go in !!!!

I ve always done things on the fly and it s been very predictable. By that I mean you can t expect priority when you are a walk-in. The guys are always helpful and polite.Most are very savvy with what to recommend based on how each person uses their vehicle.Today I actually had an appointment(made on the same day I ordered tires(which weren t available on location). My order arrived less than a week after I ordered them. I had my appointment setup. I came about 15 mins prior and waited (on a Sat). The guy told me it was busy and they were behind so I should expect 1-1.5 hours. It was done in just under an hour. It worked out perfect. I got my flu shot inside, did some shopping, and waited.The guy told me to stay consistent with my tire rotations to maximize any warranty needs. This is free at Costco as long as you buy their tires.

Wonderful customer service at the Costco OPK Tire Center. We had made an appointment to get tires rotated and were in and out within an hour. They are very efficient with great communication. A+

They re great @ selling you a new set of 4 new tires @ no where near competitive rates, but that s just about where their good service ends. Good luck to you if you have a warranty issues or anything requiring them to do something for you at a slightest discount or free, forgetaboutit..! They ll come up with all sorts of excuses to do anything besides selling you another set of overpriced tires ..! They are the absolute worse thing about dealing with Costco ..! Avoid them at all costs ..!

Consistent being inconsistent is what I can tell about Costco tire center. You may find the best deal if you are looking to purchase the tires but their service is horrible. Every person you talk will give you different information, really annoying. They asked to come around 10 am for tire replacement that I ordered from Costco online, I got there for 10:15 am and guess what they said they already have enough cars to take care. I was asked by supervisor to come next day at 9:30 am and he said he will be there personally. When I get there at that time, they were closed, I waited for 10 mins and called them, guess what I was told, we will open at 10 am so wait until then. Get on the line to be first. I waited and when they opened I was first in the line at 10 am. Remember what they said me a day before by 10:15 am they were all full. How come next day there was no one other than me at around the same time when y'day they said they were full. It's quite a contrast.This is the second time I have had bad experience, I won't be coming back to them for tire service. A suggestion to Costco, have a good SOP developed and trained employees to provide a consistent service/information. Otherwise you are defaming the Costco brand.

Went to have my tires rotated and balanced, which is free when you buy tires from them. They gave me an estimated wait time since I didn't have an appointment and finished up within the quoted time frame. They run specials almost every month and you can usually get a pretty good deal.

Courteous and excellent care. Always go here for my tires. Chris delivers outstanding customer service to all, happy and frustrated customers. He makes you feel glad you came in for service. Costco delivers consistently and with a smile.

I've been using this Costco Tire Center for my tire purchasing and maintenance needs for several years. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and available to answer any questions that I've had, big or small. Plus, you just can't beat that included warranty with tire purchases.

The Costco Tire Center claimed my leaking tire couldn't be repaired because tires over 5 years old are "un-roadworthy." That NTSB standard applies to unused tires. It was a plain lie to try to gouge me for $250.

Just visited for two new emergency tires. We called ahead of time and they told us to come on in. By the time we had finished the paperwork the tires were done. We were there less than 20 minutes and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.

Spent one hour and $11.99 and then people at Tyre center said that they cannot fix the flat tire of my car! Wondering why Costco is doing these kind of business!!Then went to a GoodYear service center and they fixed the flat tire for free.

Interstate batteries there for a Honda CR-V are $72.99 and come with a 42 month free replacement guarantee (and Costco's return policy). At Interstate Battery store, the battery with the same specs is $149.99 and only comes with a 36 month warranty. Great speeey service and AMAZING value.

Went for a tire rotation and got two dead tire sensors. They check their notes and confirmed the light came on after service. The tire manager still charges $130 for parts and labor. I asked if they will drop the labor because of how this looks and I was told no

Most awful customer service experience of my whole life. Took them 90 minutes to let me know that they refused to fix my tire, and basically alluded that they wanted me to buy 4 new ones from them and that was the only service they could offer me. I ll be taking my business to Sams club and cancelling my membership here.

The workers here are so friendly and helpful. I've been to the other Costco tire centers in the city and this one is BY FAR the best.I highly recommend going to this center if you ever need tires.

Be prepared to wait weeks for any sort of tire issue you have! Walk in appointments take most of the day. Oh and if you re late for an appointment because you are having issues with the tire you go to the back of the walk-in line.

They are super helpful and knowledgeable. Costco does a really good job picking out employees who are always nice and willing to answer any questions you may have (no matter how dumb you think they might be).

Prepare to wait. I needed a battery and knew exactly which one. Had to wait 15 minutes for the only associate to finish checking out the only member in front of me. My check out took only 2 minutes.
