Antonio - This guy. He has amazing customer service and really helped us out in a bind with a new battery. We were quoted at another place over $400 for a new battery plus installation on top of that. Called and spoke with Antonio and he took care of us. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back because of you.Angel - Thank you, sir, for the battery installation. You were quick and efficient, but didn't miss the important details.You guys rock.

Today I needed a car battery. Spoke with nice man name Howard. Howard was so friendly, knowledgeable and exceptional worker. Howard gave me helpful advice on my car battery and also gave me tip to buy something for car erosion for my battery. Howard installed my battery with no problems and it was pleasure talking with him the whole time he installed my battery. Howard is exceptional worker. Anytime I have to come to Advance Auto I will ask for Howard. Thank you again for your job well done Reggie.

I stopped in to get some help determining which brake light was out because I quite literally can t do that on my own. The guys were extremely rude, unhelpful and LAUGHED at me while I was waiting in my car for assistance (they said they d be with me shortly). All I needed was them to watch for the lights while I pressed the brake pedal. I left and went to the nearest Oreillys - highly recommend those guys at O s!!!

I like this company, they always treat me right. Employees are polite and helpful, which isn't as common as it used to be. In fact, to get to Advance I drive past two closer parts stores who treated me poorly, were overpriced, or just had ignoramuses working for them.

Inappropriate, incompetent, and disturbing. Avoid. Had good experience with another location. This one, not so much. Bad customer service, inappropriate comments directed at my wife. They had trouble installing battery and ended up damaging hood of our car. Which now has to be fixed.

Had my battery die on me and came to get a new one. Was instantly greeted and helped me right away. The person who helped me was super efficient. Got me in and out in less than 10 min. They even helped me put the battery in which I didn t think they did that! Thank u!

I recently visited this store and was amazed at how clean and organized It was. I have been a store manager at AutoZone for a few years and can tell you this store is top notch. This is not an easy thing to accomplish even in the best of work environment. The store manager greeted me and walked me to the items I need. She was very friendly. I definitely will be back.

I've been there a few times in the last few months, and pretty much every time, I have dealt with JT, and he's been super helpful and always communicates what is going on. Every time I walk in, he acknowledges me when he sees me, and if he is available, he is always quick to help.

Great customer service. I placed an online order for windshield wiper blades and the pick up was seamless. I was having difficulty changing the blades myself but one of the person working didn't hesitate to help me. He was very friendly, helpful and even suggested I stay inside due to the cold temperatures until he was finished changing the blades. His help was greatly appreciated!

I went in here yesterday to buy some electrical connectors. Simple stuff. I went to check out. She asked for my phone number I gave it to her. She started asking for my name address and what not. I politely said no thank you. I showed my military ID and asked for a military discount. The supervisor then came over and refused my military discount because I wouldn't give them my address and personal information. I will never be shopping here again. I will also forever speak negatively of advanced auto parts for this experience.

JP is the man! I ve been in here at least 15 times in the last 6 months asking for niche parts and tools. Never left confused or dissatisfied. JP won t lead you astray or sell you something you don t need, this place is my go to auto store

These guys are great. I've bought tons of things here for 5+ years. Pretty much a regular customer at this point Haha. They have a decent selection of detailing products and they always have the fluids I need to keep my car topped off. Would recommend!

I don't typically write reviews often, but the exceptional experience at this Advance Auto Parts made me feel compelled to recognize the employees that helped me. Ray and Sobir were very helpful, proactive, and provided me with the correct part that I needed, and at a reasonable price. Awesome guys. This went above and beyond my expectations.

I had an especially great experience here this evening, with two of the most helpful and polite guys. Lance and Jean-Luc were at the counter. Each of them had a client already when I came in, yet I was checked out and walking out the door in mere seconds after arriving.Both were cheerful & kind.After previous experiences with other auto part stores, these gents were a real breath of fresh air.If you're ever after auto parts, consider Advance off 119th & Metcalf here in Overland Park!And if you're lucky Lance and Jean-Luc will be working the counter.

I am a older woman from out of state. After requiring a jump start, I drove here to buy a battery post cleaner and have the battery checked. When I ask if they had a tool I could buy or borrow to take the posts off, the man looked at me, walked to the back room and rolled out a cart. He said what you need should be on here. Just bring it back when you're done. (My battery is dead, what am I going to do, roll away on the cart!? SERIOUSLY.) After figuring out how to use it to clean the posts, my car still wouldn't start. (O'Reilly, Auto Zone and Napa Auto Parts wouldn't have hesitated to help me!)I rolled the cart back inside and let him know that I had returned it. I ask to have my battery checked.A woman came out and checked it and said I need a new one. So I'm prepared to purchase a new one and have it installed so I can get on my way. Well the price of the battery was TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS! I ended up getting a jumpstart and drove half a mile and bought same battery for NINETY NINE DOLLARS.There was only one woman that was helpful and not rude. She is the one that came out to check my battery. She said she'd been with the company for fifteen years. She deserves a raise. All the others acted like it was causing them physical pain to even answer a question.If I'm ever in a situation like this again I'll go to ANY other parts store than this one.

Two years back, I visited this store and I put a very good review with 5 stars, based on that days experience, now I am changing to 1 star. Below is my review that I put around 2 years back.Today I went to this store to check the battery and the technician said its in end of life! The battery that I replaced from this store around 2 years back from this store, now the technician is telling that they never sold that battery!!! Reason is , there is no sticker on the battery. I think the previous technician put an old battery and it worked. This is ridiculous.The bad thing was, when the other technician replaced the battery earlier, I didn't check the sticker on the battery.So, BE CAREFUL IF ANYBODY IS BUYING/REPLACING BATTERIES from here.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The new battery worked just for a month, Went to this store, got help in seconds, the staff is very helpful. Were able to check the battery and replaced quickly!

Service and experience at auto parts stores can be incredibly varied. I went there tonight with my truck to check the battery. The team member was polite, knowledgeable and eager to help. Keep up the great work!

Customers service was great! I had a bad battery and stopped by almost closing time. I was taken care of very well. Staffs were friendly and knowledge. My battery was tested and replaced. Thanks for having quality staff in the store. I would definitely stop here first before anywhere else.

Went in to buy a cabin filter for my car the young man who helped me was very rude. Being an older woman who has lost her husband and have to learn how to do stuff I've never had to do, as I explained to the young man who seemed to not give a hoot about helping me! I expect a little help in situations like this! Not someone who acts like he was inconvenience to assist me! Would not buy from this company if it was the last auto parts store in Overland Park, Ks!

Car was having a sluggish start so I stopped by to have the battery tested to no surprise it was not putting out enough crank amps to start... Offered multiple battery options and didn't try to upsell after I made my choice. Same employee took the old one out, put the new one in, actually used dialectic grease on the terminals before reconnecting it. Have seen other places, maybe was the employee from other places that didn't know to do that, but the guy at Advance was well versed on how to properly do it. Thanks again.
