Since McCarthy Nissan sold to Nissan of Olathe the service department has been disappointing. The first time I made an appointment to drop off and when i arrived they didn t have me on their schedule. Left the car there for an oil change. Called four hours later to see what took so long and no one answered and I showed up hoping the car was ready and it was but they couldn t print receipt.Second time I made an appointment to wait. They estimated an hour for an oil change and tire leak fix. Took 2.5 hrs. Simply unacceptable. The new owners clearly don t value staffing the service department and the routes of communication they have are wholly inadequate. Go somewhere else for your service needs

Got new tires for the wife's car today. Ordered them ahead of time was in and out in short order. They did a nice job balancing the wheels, ready for the winter. Also had a set of snows put on a set of wheels for another car while I was there, Thanks Kyle!Service: TiresService: Tires

Purchasing vehicle was great. Everybody was so kind helped out a lot.As far as service .. No communication at all. Just purchased car in March 2023. Small things that need to be fixed. They kept canceling my appointment and giving me the run around. When I finally dropped my car off for the second time they told me my warranty is no longer good. Remind you it took 2 months to get in and was told all parts were available. Dropped my car off for a one day job got the run around and told different things when I was able to reach someday and check on my vehicle after not hearing from them for days. Took them 2 1/2 weeks to fix the problem. ( weather strip, push button not working on door) Took car back in next day due to fixing one problem but causing another. ( car door not locking unless you manually do it). Picked car up after it was fixed. Took the car back in for the third time cause now the window don't roll down. I was told they would fix it on good deed. Even though my car was fine when I dropped it off and they kept messing around with different things.To top it off I didn t know anything about the door knob till they called me and said the car is ready and by the way we didn t fix the door knob. Cause we ain t paying for it. Mhm what you mean I was never told anything about the door knob. ( I was told a fuse was replaced in my door) Let s say I ended paying $250 for the door knob cause at this point I m over it. Everything should have been fixed and covered since it was on them to push my appointment back till after warranty and selling a car with the issues and was told they would fix it.Services: Electrical, Body & Trim

Multiple times I have been to McCarthy Nissan. Logan continues to be professional and most importantly patient with me. I needed new tires and wanted to shop around. Took the truck home for a day and ended up bringing it back the next day because they had the best prices and quickest turn around. Would highly recommend any service from this awesome dealership, ask for Logan at the service desk.Service: Tires

I have bought two cars from McCarthy Nissan I got excellent customer service. Gage is an excellent salesperson. He was very patient and answered every question we had. He even took the time out to order a car out of state so we could have the exact car we wanted for our anniversary. The service at McCarthy Nissan is outstanding .

Disappointed in McCarthy for not notifying customers of no longer servicing the Nissan I purchased from them (free oil changes as long as I own the vehicle). More disappointed in service at Nissan of Olathe. Unable to schedule oil change during the week for several weeks out. Saturday they have walk-in only. Told service writer I was there for oil change only. When I went to pick up my car, they also did tire rotation. I didn t have to pay for that service, but it didn t need to be done! In the future I will be specific and sign for services before dropping off.Service: Oil change

Haven t been here since they switched locations it used to be Rawhide dr. We bought the car from here and we re told we d have free oil changes on the vehicle. Well that obviously wasn t honored as I had to pay for it even though I never have and their new location waiting room looked like an absolute dump and understaffed. They didn t even give me my keys after paying they just told me to go show my paperwork to someone by the fence who would bring my car around? So I had to stand in the middle of the road waiting for someone. They said they d give me $25 off my next oil change. Yeah I m good no thanks, I d go somewhere else if I were you plenty of nicer Nissan dealerships in the area.Service: Oil change

Person that got me checked in was super nice, went over any additional services I might need besides the original oil change but wasn't pushy about it. Made it very clear what could and couldn't wait and what the prices would be. I worked with Clint on the service needed for my car. From start to finish, he was great. Due to the ice storm in Texas, parts were delayed and Client communicated with me the entire time about the delays and when my repairs would be completed. Clint was transparent on what needed to be fixed and did not try to over sale me on unnecessary car repairs. It was a great experience and I would definitely take my car there again.Services: Transmission, Transmission replacement, Transmission repair

Had to get a recall fixed. Was an easy process to schedule. When I got there to drop off my vehicle, they showed me that my car needed an alignment, pretty bad. The cost was cheaper than I thought it would be. It took them a total of 2 hours to fix the recall and my alignment and had my vehicle back before lunch time. Fast and Friendly service. Will definitely be taking my car there from now on!!!Service: Wheel alignment

Logan was quick and easy with me as a new customer. He helped me set up an account and showed me the run down of my ticket for a new set of tires that i deperately needed. George worked on my car and set up my new wheels and they felt perfect! He did a perfect job and was very quick the whole process only took 2 hours. The staff was very friendly and nice. Customer service got phone number mix up. Even though I wrote it down on the work order. So never got the text car was ready. Extra 30 plus delay.Plus seat was moved all the way up. I couldn t even get in the car. I could understand moving one s seat if you were driving across town but not into service center. The oil change was fine. I had a coupon which made it all even better. However, I do have one question. A $4.00 digital document storage fee? Seriously? You charge a customer $4.00 so you can have an electronic record of a $25.00 transaction? That's hilarious!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I went in to get my front brakes checked and for general vehicle upkeep/ inspection. Steve was extremely helpful and easy to work with! I also loved that they were able to provide me with a ride back to the dealership from work! Had one of my best experiences getting work done on my car here! Overall, the experience was good and quick. However, I did not like the fact that the dealership did not share or explain added fees to invoice. They are now charging 3.99 plus tax on this amount as a document storage fee. Mind you it was 4 pieces of paper for a simple oil change. It will cost them less than one cent to retain an electronic copy. I don t need them to store it. They are ripping their customers off on this inflated charge. What is next? Will I see a charge for heating and cooling as I sit in their waiting room?Service: Oil change

Wow! What a way to run a service department. Prompt service at check in. Fully explain in detail what will be done to my vehicle. After diagnosis they didn't have all the parts to fix my issue, they got me a rental for a day to get the part and finish the repairs.Logan was awesome. Very customer oriented. One of the best I've ever seen and I spent 16 years in the car business before I retired. Shoot, I'll probably start bringing my car here for oil changes even though they are almost an hour from my home. 5+

Nice guys but they had my truck for almost 3 weeks. I waited for an hour when I came to pick it up because they misplaced my key. The service center had a really hard time figuring out what exactly was causing the problem with my trunk. They had ordered and replaced 2 parts and it still didn t work. They ended up giving me a loaner and keeping my Rogue until they were sure they had found and fixed the problem. I appreciate their thoroughness and determination! I dropped our vehicle off the evening of the 21st. Called twice on the 22nd to check on it and finally received a call back right before close that I couldn't answer. Called twice so far today, 23rd, with no response. 2nd time, #Nissan, left me on hold for over 12 minutes before pushing me into voicemail. I didn't think it would be this hard to speak to someone.Received a callback approximately 5 minutes after posting this review.

First off, service was very friendly and fast. I also had a nice conversation with the service manager who was very polite and respectful. However my 2023 Nissan rogue with only 2000 miles on it has already had an issue needing parts that is on a nationwide back order. Until that part gets here I am unable to use my remote start and also have a check engine light on. There is no ETA for when this part may come in. This is Nissan's fault has nothing to do with the actual dealership.Service: Electrical repair

Clint was helpful and courteous when I brought the vehicle in for a blower fan running at a constant speed no matter if I turned it off or what speed I put it on. I bought my QX-80 at McCarthy with an exteneded warranty. I had general service done at the Infiniti dealership who found the rear suspension leveling system had an issue. They said they had parts in stock and could fix it that day. However, the extended warranty was only good at McCarthy (red flag to watch for when getting an extended warrenty).So I took the car to McCarthy on a Tuesday. I told them what the Inifinit dealership had said, offered to share the print out of the diagnosis, and told them they had the parts. McCarthy said they had to "diagnosed" the problem themselves, didn't matter what Inifinti had said. They came up with the same diagnosis and put a claim in with the warranty. It's now Thursday, 36 hours later, they received approval to fix the vehicle but they didn't have the parts, so they had to order them. The parts come in on Friday. Friday mid afternoon, they call - they have the wrong parts. I informed them I needed the vehicle over the weekend.They put all the bad parts back in and I get the vehicle just before they close on Friday evening (this is why they get 2 stars instead of 1). I drop the vehicle off on Sunday night so they can have it first thing Monday because they will get the right parts early. Later Monday I call to see when I can pick it up and I'm informed they got the wrong parts again.They re-ordered the parts again. Tuesday Noon I call and am told they had just recieved the parts and will start working on it. Tuesday at 5 I call and I'm told that they are working on it and won't be done until Wednesday.Wednesday afternoon about 2:00 they call and say its done. So we go to pick it up. They brag about how good a job they've done with the repair and how quiet the new system runs.After all this, they still charged me my the deductible for the warranty. It takes them 8 days to fix what the Inifinti dealership could have done in 1 day. Never recommending them to anyone.

My parents own a BMW and I own a Nissan. I get much better service and treated way better here than they do at both BMW dealerships. The service advisors are friendly and very easy to work with. I feel like they take the time to really listen to you and don't try to sell you on other services. It's like talking to a friend. The repair work is always top notch and I always leave feeling good about having had my car serviced here.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I have been using McCarthy Olathe Nissan for service and car purchases for 6 years now. I have never had a bad experience. Service is fast and I have seen Danny nearly every time. He s always in a good mood and his energy is unmatched. Gage on the sales floor is always a visit I enjoy. He is always willing to show me new cars to keep me entertained and even sold me my 23 Altima recently. This store is nearly an hour from my house but I will always give them my business in both departments.Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

Everything from making the diagnosis, ordering the part, making the second appointment for installation, and installation itself was excellent.The time it took for them to make the diagnosis and install the part were both less than what they had estimated.The service staff was very respectful, informative, and professional.The lobby was very clean, was equipped with the charging station, and refreshments were provided.Checking out was smooth and hassle free.Overall, great experience as always.
