Kipp and his crew at Sailor s are nothing short of tremendous. Honest, quick, flexible, and reasonable. The service is simply outstanding. They are solidified as the shop I ll take my vehicles to every time.

My subaru wouldn't start. Had AAA jump start it. When I called Trip at Sailors, he said to go ahead and bring it in for a look. I trusted him completely. He didn't have see any problems but wanted to keep it over night to see if it would start in the morning. It did, thank goodness. He just wanted to make sure all was well. I did not feel ripped off and he was honest about not knowing exactly what happened. I WOULD ALWAYS GO BACK TO SAILORS FROM HERE ON OUT.

An auto part shop sent me here in the midst of a melt down because I thought my car was breaking down. I was instantly greeted by Kip who was calm, cool, collected and was able to get me in right away. The work was done right and in a timely manner. What mattered the most to me was that he didn t try to pull one over on me since I am a young woman that doesn t know any better and was by myself. Although I was able to get my dad involved I still believe Kip would ve performed honest work no matter what. An old fashion ma and pa type shop that you can trust.

Kipp and the crew are honest, sincere and extremely helpful! It s very nice to have a mechanic that will tell you just what is wrong and exactly what you need without trying to sell you something you don t need! Highly recommend if you need any work done to get your vehicle in tip top shape!

Quality work in a timely fashion. No long delays. Priced appropriate to the market. Friendly and competent front desk that kept me apprised as to what needed to be done and what it would cost. Old school shop. Did not try to up sell me or put unnecessary expensive repairs on my older car. I will definitely use them again.

Nov 2023My car had to be towed to this location after a franchise repair shop made an error. My transmission fluid was leaking. This shop fixed the problem after a couple of days. Sailors Auto Care was aware I needed my car back as soon as possible. They did their best to find and fix the problem in a decent time frame. So far, there is no leaking that i'm aware of. The original shop covered the cost.

Far and away the best auto shop we have ever worked with. Every experience we have had with Sailers we have been impressed by their speed, quality, integrity and friendliness. We have referred several friends there and all have had the same experience!

No problem with the work, just the poor communication with the price of the job. Over the phone Kip quoted $514 for a brake job on a 2018 Nissan Sentra. I was charged $641 for front brakes and clean and adjust the rear brakes. My first and only time into this rip off artist. OVERCHARGED! Even the Nissan dealer is around $500! Are you going to make this right Kip? I will gladly pay you for the quote you provided.

SAILORS AUTO CARE took care of my Jeep Patriot when no one else would. Kip Sailor is professional, reliable and trustworthy, and they take care of all makes and types of vehicles. I really mean this! The team at Sailor s Auto was fantastic to work with. One of our cars was had considerable rear end damage. They repaired it back to like new and I couldn t be more pleased! I can t say enough nice things about this place. I stopped in late after work because I had a screw in my tire and they got me taken care of right away. I m so thankful because my tire would have probably been flat in the morning. They will be getting all of my business from now on!

Highly recommend Sailors. These guys are honest and trust worthy and I always take my Jeep here. In and out. Plus, they are dog lovers. What more could you ask for in an automotive shop. Since I m writing a review, I d also like to mention the other shop on Johnson Drive with the big pots of flowers out front. They are misogynists and I will never, ever go they again. Sailor's is the best of the best.I've been in for multiple repairs, and they do what needs to be done, no more, no less. Just found a weird issue with no check engine and no fault codes. A dealership would have charged me thousands. Sailor's did a great job, and I'm back on the road for hundreds. My favorite mechanic.

The ABS dashboard light kept coming on after a complete brake job was done 6 months ago at a business on Eastern Shore Maryland. I am in Kansas City, MO, at this time.The light was intermittent then stayed on. Gary Tannen, a retired Auto Doctor of wicked talents here in KC, recommended Sailors Auto Repair.My car was repaired in 1 day, problem solved.I am pleased with the work and pricing.It was also quite delightful meeting the Sailors.

Fair and transparent pricing. If you call around, you ll find the best price here. The service providers are respectful and informative- can even be an educational experience. As a woman, I was frustrated at previous shops ignoring me and claiming unrelated problems, so I dropped them and came to Sailors. Kipp and crew discovered that the dash light displayed was for radiator warning (not battery/alternator problem) and replaced the radiator. They also verified that the battery was okay and the alternator was working just fine. Of course it was a bit pricey but expected that after finding out what was the problem. When you find a reliable trustworthy mechanic it s a must that you keep them around. So great full for Kipp and his team. They always come through when I need them. Fair pricing and good work. I have used them to fix multiple things on my ladies car and every time they tell me the problem and even times when I couldn t necessarily afford to fix the whole problem they gave me their honest answer, and opinion on it.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair

I'm new to the area, my check engine light came on unexpectedly. In a pinch I brought my car to Sailors Auto based on it being in the area and good reviews and I couldn't have left happier. A warm welcome right when I walked in the door, and felt comfortable about trusting my car with Kipp and team. They text you right when they have news, which means you call them at your convenience and don't play a game of phone tag (answered the phone every time I called). Genuinely felt like they were trying to save me as much money and trouble as possible, as opposed to trying to make as much money as possible. Happy I found them, will now take our cars there for all our needs!Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Sailors done a great job with the all wheel alignment and mount and balancing on my front tires. They were more than helpful with a few other questions I had about my truck as well. William was the lead mechanic I talked to and was very pleased with his customer service and helpful advice. Thanks William. The lady that checked me in was more than pleasant to talk to as well. I couldn't be any happier with the customer service and work done to my truck. Thanks guys and keep up the good work!! If there is anything else I need done or my family or friends I will definitely recommend Sailors.

First time taking my suv to Sailors and had a very good experience. They got my car in the next business day for diagnosis and were able to fix the problem the following day. I felt the cost was very reasonable and communication was good. I found them to be honest and timely in fixing my brakes which ended up being $200 less than the dealership and they did not try to up sell me anything else. They also did not pressure me to do it right away like the dealership. They spoke to me about what needed to happen without the scare tactics. Sailors saved the day again! I had to drive many hundreds of miles and, suddenly, my tire was flat. Even though they were swamped, they took the time to repair my tire. They are the Best!
