I needed a quick fix (tricky headlight replacement) and I chose KH Automotive because they are close to my house and had great google reviews well lucky for me I happened to stumble across this amazing local mechanic! Customer service is top notch and even though I had a small, inexpensive job they treated me like their most important client. I will be a returning customer for sure! I drove in randomly in the middle of the day with a broken mirror and a burnt out tag light. I asked if they could take a look at it. They replaced the tag light and showed me exactly what was wrong with my mirror and had me on my way in less than 20 minutes. Free of charge. That's just darn good customer service. I would happily give them my business in the future

Switched all my mechanical needs to these people last year. Diesel and gas alike. Not disappointed. Price is always more than fair!!! Fast also. Highly recommend this guys.

After the dealership where I have my car serviced said they wouldn t be able to help with a non-latching front door until the next day, I drove to KH Automotive desperate for a solution. Although they were on the cusp of closing, Kevin immediately knew what to do, but had to run to a hardware store to buy the flathead bolts to secure my car s locking mechanism. He solved a critical problem in less than 15 minutes.I haven t experienced this level of assistance or attention ever before. Kevin will go above and beyond to keep you safe!Previously, when they replaced the tires and rotors, their quote was faster than the dealership and half of the price. I cannot say enough good things.Service: Auto maintenance

Very friendly and helpful! Quick repair times, reasonable price and honest. Have used them for a couple miscellaneous maintenance repairs and each time they walk me through what was wrong and teach me more about my car in addition to doing the repair.

If you're looking for an honest mechanic, this is your place! Kevin, the owner, gives you an honest assessment of your options and thoroughly explains the process in a way anyone can understand. Scott mans the front and his customer service and care are excellent. The staff in the shop are talented and incredibly professional. No price gouging here and the workmanship is unparalleled!

They fixed my cars horrible creaking in a few hours. Some ball joints and hubs were needing to be replaced. They explained everything to me thoroughly so that id know exactly what they fixed and what was wrong. I went back because I heard the noise again and they lubricated the parts that had become dry. The man at the desk was really nice and helpful and the mechanic took his time to drive with me to hear the noise the car was making!

These guys are absolutely fantastic! I had gotten some new belts from a chain store that shall not be named, and afterwards my car would make this terrible high pitched squealing sound whenever I started the engine. I had taken it back several times to try to get it fixed but they weren t able to and kept giving me different excuses. I had that noise for over two months! I finally take it to KH Automotive after reading reviews and they were able to fix it within 10 minutes of me being there. It s been smooth sailing ever since. These guys are true, amazing mechanics and I ll be a recurring customer from now on.

I took a Kia to them out of referral. 868.00 for a battery and a fuse. The guy who answers the phone is a puke. Needs tuned up himself. A battery I can replace in 10 minutes. The fuse 5 minutes. Determinate 2 wires. 5 minutes. Labor was 460.00. Hilarious. When I pick up the car my windshield broken from passenger to driver side. Of course they know nothing about it. Tow driver assures me windshield was fine when dropped off to them. Maggots. No honor.

The guys at KH are great. I've been taking my older model Honda there for years and they have kept the ol' girl running so well. They always help me make decisions on repairs based on the life the vehicle has left. They've also given me solid advice on different models now that I'm thinking about upgrading. Great service!

K H Automotive does superior work, has top notch professionals and is the definition of 5 star customer service. They completed a tech bulletin service on my car. When a different issue arose coincidentally, they kept the car, addressed the issue immediately, and returned the car the next day. It runs better than ever. Much gratitude to Scott and the pros at KH. Shout out to Chris for the lift. Best repair experience ever.

I've been bringing my Land Rovers to them for years for everything from simple suspension work to head gasket replacements on my old Disco. They do great work, are really friendly, and will treat you fairly. They are my go-to Indy shop for Land Rover.

I took my Mercedes in to KH because it was backfiring and running rough. Scott (really nice guy) called and said he had it running and it was running a million times better. He put on a $67 ignition coil and a $200 battery and my bill was $628!When I left the shop I got about a mile down the road and it died at the light. I called Scott back and was told they were closed the next day to keep driving it and see if it got better. I started it the next morning and it was still backfiring and barely running .I will not be taking it back to KH! I was totally ripped off. I m sure if I ask them to get it running right it will cost me at least another $600. No thanks!!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

The best automotive mechanic experience I have ever had. They went out of their way - above and beyond to fix my basic battery problem. They drove (granted AOI was 3 blocks away) to my dead car, jumped it, picked up a replacement warranty battery for me, and just charged me for the labor. They even delivered the gloves I forgot in their waiting room to me where a I mentioned I was going afterward. Honest service and went above and beyond on customer service.

My dad is my personal mechanic but he lives 10 hours away now. There is one place that I would trust as much as him and that's this place. I have a maintenance contract with SM Kia for my car but any time it needs any out of contract work this is where I go. Honest, real, Good people.

They are awesome, super friendly and really want the best for their customers, I took a porsche for a pre-purchase inspection, and they noticed a really bad sign from the first 5 min they sat in the car, and they didn't even continued the inspection and advised me to walk away from that car, also they didn't charge me a penny for that.They took all the time to explain me to what is the problem and why they don't recommend buying the car, they answered all my questions and concerns regarding the subject.You can really tell that the guys are very expert in their field.THANK YOU K H Automotive, you saved me from a big trouble.

So, they charge nearly $150 just to diagnose a problem? Outrageous. Avoid at all cost, these thieves. Not to mention, I was quoted over $3100.00 to repair my AC, and had it done for $300 at another repair shop. Thieves!Service: A/C installation & repairService: A/C installation & repair

i had the worst pre purchase inspection ever done by them. I have a 996 turbo that I was buying sight unseen. I have done this 2 other times buying both cars from the midwest. This time I got screwed by them. they had no formal list of things to check but assured me that the car was in great condition. when I received the car it had been obviously in an unreported accident, 5th and 6th gear were reversed, and there were leaks in the vacuum system. I'm not even a mechanic I I was able to figure these things out. they obviously never drove the car and nothing was mentioned about the paint or interior which wasn't bad but I needed them to report the paint scratches and gouges. anyway I'm sure everyone around there loves these local guys but if you are shopping for a PPI or have a porsche turbo of any kind. take it somewhere else.I am truly disappointed in them and hope no one has to experience what I have ever. you can do a search on you tube. I will do a walk around in the next couple days to show all what was not disclosed to me. thanks guys

You can ask them to do unnecessary things to your car and they will explain why you don't need it. These are exactly the people you want to have do an expensive repair, because they won't take your money unless they know your car really needs something.

Wouldn t recommend this shop to anyone. The employees are by far the most rudest people I ve ever met. And they are way over priced. At first i used to love this shop because they worked with me on putting on parts that I purchased from eBay or amazon. These guys know how to rip you off and charge you triple what any other shop would do.
