Mike is truly amazing. He helps out so well and I appreciate it. The whole team truly knows what s going on and I wouldn t go anywhere else unless they tell me to to get a better understanding.

My first time taking my '03 Accord to Don Freely for routine service at 92,000 miles, and I seriously wish I had started doing business with them long ago. They replaced two tires (which I knew needed replacing), performed the routine oil and filter changes, and got my baby (the car) ready for a long trip. I'm delighted. My Honda is humming along as good as new.

These guys are awesome. I take all my company vehicles here. They are always honest and fair with their billing. Also, I just showed up a few min past noon to pick up my jeep bc I didn t know they closed at noon on Fridays and Brett opened everything up for me just to get me my vehicle. Outstanding!

This place is the real deal folks. I have an uncommon automobile make(Suzuki) and they did not bat an eye when I brought it in for service. They sourced the parts and did top-notch work. Replaced my manual transmission for a great price and were communicative every step of the way. They've got my business for the foreseeable future.

About 3 weeks ago my alternator went out on my car driving home on I-35N. I had to have it towed home. The nearest shop was Don Freely. Since my regular shop was in KCK, JACK SWALL, and I couldn't drive I decided that I would try a new mechanic. The owner quoted a a reasonable price for an alternator, had a rebuild one put in. On Friday, 2 days later the battery light and brake light came on. I took my car 2 O'Reilly on Niemann. Was informed that the alternator was bad, so, the battery needed to be recharged. So, the gentleman did this for me. A friend from church came over Saturday. Charged it again and advised me to do in town driving only.Monday, Labor Day, my muffler dropped onto the ground. So, I took my car to Don Freely to get the alternator replaced and attach the muffler. And left a note with my keys.The problem started when I was out walking my dog and was standing in front of where my car had been in the bay. As the owner of the shop backed out my car the muffler which had been semi-hanging got knocked off. The side fender on the back driver's side popped out of the holes it attached to the rest of the car. The shop owner got out of the car and made a comment to one of his staff something like, "That's how you take care of that", laughs and throws my muffler away. When I saw what happened I was upset. The owner stopped me as I was taking my dog home before going back to talk to the owner. I was on my way back when the owner saw me and wanted to let me know what he found out and adk what I wanted to do. I followed him back, told that I was willing to pay an extra $100 for a new alternator. Then I told him what I saw happened. He pounds the bumper into place and said that all it needed was a couple of screws. So, I asked him to fix it. The owner blamed the damage on the muffler and said that it was the muffler's fault. I repeated myself and what I wanted done. Then while he was backing my car back into the lot the owner out of the window said that "It was a trap."I was so angry at being accused of "trapping" him that I went home to calm down. I called the next day and left a message about wanting the bumper fixed on the left side and new alternator. Later that day the work was done. But I will not have my car serviced thrre again. Even though it would be easier to have a mechanic closer to home.I've been going to Jack Swalls for close to 25 years and have always been treated with respect and patience. Even over the trivial things that I sometimes got paranoid about since I transport children. I took my car to my regular mechanic shop and was given a reasonable and cheap price for a muffler. Plus, respect from staff and owner.Service: Electrical repair

I dropped off a working vehicle and picked up a broken one. Mike, the owner cannot admit that they did a lousy job on my car and wanted to blame it on something else and called me a liar. The repair was done for safety and not because the car was pulling left or right. The car was 100% straight.It s hard to find a good mechanic nowadays , or good people. The owner was rude and doesn t have any communication skills . What a lousy experience and low.

High quality work. They even diagnosed my "broken cruise control" over the phone after they replaced my brakes and offered to look at it again if I couldn't get it working. They do get quite busy at times so you might want to make plans for PTO or an Uber even if you have an early morning appointment.Services: Tires, BrakesServices: Tires, Brakes

Top ratings! I've been here several times. They are great, through, and trustworthy. Their talent is extensive. I would highly recommend. The stand behind all their work. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I've taken all my cars to them. I also had them look at a used car I purchased.

I've been having all my cars serviced and fixed at Don Freely's for 10 years. I recommend them to every friend, neighbor, co-worker, family member - basically anyone and everyone I know. They are the best! Fair, and much less than any dealer with better advise and quality. Mike, Nick, Russ and the rest of the guys always shoot straight - never recommend anything I don't need and keep me going down the road. They are my Car guys!

Stopped in for a headlight issue, they pulled my car right in to check it out. Turns out its a bigger issue with wiring. Gave me option to check around first as I'd have to make an appointment to check/fix it further. I really Appreciate the help I received & will go back to see them!!!

This place lives up to its reputation. Don Freely was recommended to me by a 70+ year old engineer whose vehicle is in tip top shape. He immediately recommended Don Freely's auto shop, so I had a high level of confidence walking in. What impressed me was that they beat their original quoted price while including an additional two key repairs (one of which I would have missed and would likely have been a huge repair later on down the road). They also tossed in a repair that had been annoying me for years. I'd been told I needed a new windshield wiper pump; turns out a previous repair had likely pulled a control cable. Don's guy fixed that for free while they were in there. Fantastic mechanical work, fantastic reputation.

I took my car there for a few items that needed fixed. They fixed them well and the cost was very reasonable. Friendly service as well and right on time. I also have friends whom recommended them and they raved about them. I'm glad I took their advice.

I have been taking my cars to Don Freely's for 13 years. They have always done great work. I have never had even the slightest thing to complain about. They are a great group of mechanics.

I have gone here for 5 years for all my car repairs and they are fair no gouging or ripping you off. They do a great job and fix what is broken and/or need to be repaired! NOTHING MORE. Very trustworthy car care place.

My check engine light kept coming on and I thought I knew what the problem was. After hours of troubleshooting I decided to finally take it in. Mike got it diagnosed in no time and helped fix the problem very inexpensively. Will be coming back.
