Your staff treated me like I was an old friend just like back home. I have been taking my cars to Broadway Tire for years so I will do the same with JAR now that I live in McPherson. I thank JAR for the great service provided and they have my trust to take care of my vehicle. Thank you Amy.

Ami and Dalton were absolutely AMAZING to my daughter and I. We were on our way to an appointment and had a tire problem. We were passing through McPherson and told Ami our problem and she told Dalton (mechanic) about our dilemma and between the two of them rushing to our rescue they had us back on the road very very quickly and we made it to the appointment! Not only are they very professional and skilled, they are so very compassionate. AMI & DALTON THANK YOU!!! . . WE ARE SO GRATEFUL TO YOU!

FANTASTIC SERVICE!! They got me in quickly, we're able to diagnose my problem, and then got the part I needed ordered and replaced in a timely manner, all while being EXTREMELY thorough!!! All of the staff there is also incredibly kind and helpful. They listened to me, they explained everything in great detail, and never once was I treated like an idiot. I also love that they shared pictures of everything they found. They keep the customer very involved and informed every step of the way. Seems like a skilled and honest group of professionals. They earned my trust and I will definitely be back.

Honest auto repair shop! Had some issues that were reported by a dealership service had Jar look at these "issues" and It turns out there were no issues after all. Jar probly saved me hundreds of dollars. Will definitely bring all my vehicles here in the future!

Seemingly nice enough and knowledgeable people, but definitely a business first. I just couldn't justify working with them for the prices they wanted to charge, and that was after already dropping 150 just to get it looked at (no work yet). I'm sure they do a fine job, but unfortunately felt like they wanted to squeeze every last penny out of me.Edit: it's up to you what parts you want to use that's fine. I just wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I spent over $700 for a couple batteries to be changed on top of the $150 just to be seen. Both batteries are easily accessible as well so the labor just didn't line up in my mind.

A bit costly on labor, but I also know when taking my car here that I'm going to get good service. Scheduling and drop-off are easy. You get an inspection report emailed and texted to you, and it includes pictures so people like me who are not as familiar with cars can visualize what they're talking about. I've had two cars fixed here in the last week, and although it's more expensive than I wanted it to be, I feel confident that both cars are in better condition than they were before.

Can't say enough about this business, had a oil cooler leak on our jeep. When they found out we needed to head to Florida they made a spot for us and got it done. $466 to change a fuel filter and rotate tires. 100% upcharge on the fuel filter itself. 3960xe filter can be bought at Walmart for $80. Can buy it at their own counter for $108.99. Charged me $158 and change. They won't let you bring your own part. Spoke with the manager and he admitted to it. "That's how we stay in business." Haven't had much time to do these things myself lately so I was hoping to find a shop that was reasonable. This isn't the one. Try anywhere else

I cannot recommend this place enough. As a first time customer, I am beyond impressed with their knowledge and service. My car needed extensive work. They do a full, detailed inspection. When that's done, you receive a detailed list, including photos and videos of work that needs done on your car. You'll also have an introduction to the mechanics working on your car. The shop and waiting areas are maticulous. Waiting area available. Financing options are available. I highly recommended this place. As a first-time customer, I'll be back.

I was traveling from out of state and discovered an engine problem. JAR worked me in on a busy Friday. The parts supplier sent the wrong part which arrived at days end. The shop owner got on the phone and searched until he found another parts source for my 27 year old vehicle and had the part overnighted. They completed the repair outside regular business hours and I was back on the road. JAR Performance Automotive cares about their customers.Service: Engine repair

Professional, honest service. I recently had my family's vehicles serviced for regular maintenance. Gary was very helpful in explaining the work that was done along with issues to keep an eye on in the future. I really appreciate being able to review photographs of the work done/vehicle inspection. Great work done. Very responsive to any questions I had, and kept me updated throughout my entire process. They ended up having to replace my entire A/C system and put 4 brand new tires on. Great work and great customer service! I would not take a vehicle to JAR for service work. JAR rec'd my 2008 Lexus IS 250 on Sept 1 2023. I described my main concerns as 1) clicking sound from driver's side rear wheel and 2) wheel appeared to have a wobble when viewed from behind when car was being driven. Jeff Reitz called 9/5/23, left a msg saying brakes were done, $971 due, and headlights would be $900 more. I called Jeff back and asked him specifically about the reasons for the drivers side rear wheel clicking sound and wobble. Jeff didn't know anything about either issue, said he would find out & call back. Jeff called back later, said the rim is defective. I asked why I was first told the brakes and rotor were said to be the issue, but no mention of the rim? Didn't know. I declined further work by JAR. Picked up the Lexus this week. The clicking sound from the rear driver's side wheel is far worse now than it has ever been. Essentially the work by JAR did not fix either issue I had indicated were problems I wanted to receive attention. I have spent $971 for a brake job, and $245 towing charge, and have nothing to show for it.

I am very paranoid about who I bring my car to for service because of poor experiences in the last. However, after outstanding recommendation from Friends and co-workers I decided to give Jar a shot and they did not disappoint. They sent costant updates, which is amazing, and their online servicw portal telling you what they discovered on their initial inspection, categorized each items urgency, advised on appropriate action, and included pictures! Gary was the guy I talk to over the phone and he was super helpful amd understanding. Great shop to work with, everything you hear about them is true. 10/10 would recommend.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Battery, Oil change
