This is an excellent shop! I had a bad heater core in a 2000 F-150 which is a notoriously difficult job that involves removing the steering wheel. They instantly took me in while other shops turned me away fixed the car within 2 days for a cheaper price than others. They did a good job and were transparent with me, called to update me on the process, fixed little things that were wrong in my interior, and even gave me my old part! I will now be a regular customer.

In my opinion, Precision Automotive is the best in the business. Over the years, I have had numerous automobile problems fixed by Gregg and his team. They are amazing at diagnosing the exact problem, fixing it with quality parts, and doing the work in a timely manner. The prices are also often below what I was expecting. If I can help it, I don't go anywhere else.

I was priced around Manhattan $700 plus to get oil cooling line work done.Went here and was told I only needed a $10 dollars seal replacement and labor cost totalled at $120.I knew what I needed but didn't have the tools to do it .With my knowledge I knew folks was just trying to over charge.THESE FOLKS ARE HONEST WHICH IS RARE WITH MECHANICS.I RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE THAT MAY NEED VEHICLE WORK AND DON'T WANT TO BE OVER CHARGED

I brought my vehicle in for a pre-trip inspection back in April before a cross-country trip. The person who greeted me was the opposite of friendly & welcoming, there was nowhere for me to wait while my vehicle was being inspected (which was my original plan until I arrived at the shop!), and they kept my vehicle for the ENTIRE day...for a scheduled inspection. In the end, I was charged $182 with no breakdown of where the costs came from and zero information about what had been inspected or the results of the inspection (other than new lightbulbs & new windshield wipers - which they installed without checking with me first or telling me how much it would cost). My vehicle is older, I travel a LOT, and I get it inspected at least twice annually at shops across the country; I know it has MANY issues that shops most often find - for example, I just took it to Midas yesterday (for a *free* inspection), and they provided me a printout sheet identifying a number of more minor items for me to keep an eye on, along with more major repair recommendations to make sure I'm staying safe on the road.I am femme & queer, and generally uncomfortable going to auto shops that are often steeped in masculinity & heteronormativity. Is this why I was treated with a complete lack of friendliness? I'm not sure. What I do know is I won't ever be going back to this shop - both from how I felt interacting with I believe Gregg (unless there is another older white man who greets clients), and from the lack of information about the results of my vehicle inspection.

When you are new in town, it's always difficult finding the services you need and can trust. This place is one of the gems in Manhattan. Excellent, quality service and communication about your car. Best mechanic around town I have used them for large repairs on my 6.0 powerstroke, they never try to sell you something you don't need and they have very reasonable labor rates. Had to have my rig towed to Precision. I am, and you will be as well, very fortunate to have found this business. They worked diligently to solve the mystery which turned out to be a wiring issue. Trusting a shop is hard earned for those of us not mechanically knowledgeable. These guys have integrity in spades. No BS, no unnecessary work, very reasonably priced, and timely. Trust your vehicle to the guys at Precision. I'm sure glad I did and as such, my search for a shop I can trust is over.

I like to do maintenance myself, but I have been busy before and I took my truck in twice. Once for an injection harness, the other for a turbo leak.The injection harness was done very quickly, the mechanic knew what he was doing and did a very good job. I needed my truck quickly in the dead of winter, and they took care of me and priced the work very reasonably.I got my truck back today for a oil leak under the turbo pedestal. Fix was easy, guys knew what they were doing. I knew the bolts were going to be a pain coming out, I didn't realize that they would be as big of a problem as they were. Precision got them out, they did a good job. The repair is cheaper than a new turbo or running my truck out of oil. Very pleased with their work.Only complaint is that it's a manual transmission, so I never use the parking brake, never think anything of it. Someone stepped on it, which is common practice, but it shredded a wiring harness that fed into a computer under my dash that was hanging down. Cruise control doesn't work now. Northern does my aftermarket overdrive.It was an easy fix, looked into it and just soldered wires at home.Guy working on 7.3s knows what he is doing. Would recommend him for any diesel engine.Service: Engine repair

Excellent customer service. We were in town for the afternoon and had brake problems with our pickup. Precision Automotive worked us in right away, diagnosed the problem, installed new parts, and had us back on the road within a couple of hours. They were very professional in handling my girlfriends car with a blown clutch. Prices were well below what I was expecting, and when we asked for a quote for a clutch replacement, the price was well below the standard market rate for something like that. Even though we declined the work, they still were friendly and helpful. Good honest shop that does quality work and doesn't try to overcharge you for it.

Absolutely phenomenal auto shop. Greg and his team provide the utmost in service and really came through for us at a moment of need. Our 13 Odyssey was having electrical problems (caused by another shop) and they were able to fit it into their schedule, diagnose the real problem, and repair it very quickly. Highly recommend working with them.

I have usually always done maintenance myself but this being my first F250 6.0 diesel And knowing that they are historically a nightmare system, these guys went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and give me a good clean bill of health on my truck. They did it without emptying my bank account they were cheaper than going to any Ford dealership or other diesel mechanic I could find. Patrick Was awesome he even followed up with me just to make sure everything was kosher. I can t say enough good things about precision and I will definitely be going back there!!

I have had countless issues with my older pick up for a number of years and paid a ton of money to other mechanic shops out west . I found Precision Automotive and Greg and his team took care of my engine trouble! They also replaced/repaired the Chevy front end!!! Greg explained everything to me that needed to be done and didn t alter on the quote. I appreciate them very much!!! I found an automotive mechanic shop and I won t deviate!!! My loyalty is with Precision Automotive!!! Thank you!!!

I have had this shop work on 2 vehicles. I give them credit when I needed a pinion rebuilt they were the only shop willing to tackle the project, however the rear end leaked after the repair and after multiple attempts to resolve the issue I had another shop repair the work.Most recent diagnostic left me with a unresolved problem and a large bill. I would not mind the bill if it addressed the issue, however I still have a truck out of service. Called to follow up and did not receive a call back. Will be taking vehicles elsewhere.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Super polite, will explain everything and won't push for services that aren't needed. I ordered a refrigerant control valve for my car and needed a good shop to do a proper install. I called them yesterday to see when I could come in. They said to just leave the car with them in the morning, so that's what I did. Came back about 6 hours later and the car was already waiting, and the AC blows COLD! So happy I went with Precision over the dealer. I highly recommend this shop!

I was having issues with my Honda Ridgeline. It had been to another shop multiple times and they were unable to fix the problem. I called Greg, since we take all of our company vehicles to him for maintenance. He told me to bring it by and drop it off with him. We dropped the truck off on a Wednesday afternoon and he was able to diagnose it, order parts, make the repair in just a couple of days. I picked it up on Friday.We spent 3 times the amount at another shop and continued to have the same problem with almost a month in a rental car. He was great to work with and his attention to detail to try and diagnose the problem will make Precision Automotive our one stop for all future maintenance and repairs for all of our vehicles. After fighting the same problem for over a year with another shop, him and his guys took care of it in days should say a lot. Thank you guys. We will recommend you to all of our friends and family.

Precision Automotive is absolutely the best auto/truck repair shop in the Manhattan area. I have been a customer for many, many years and wouldn't consider taking my vehicles any other place. The prices are reasonable, repairs are done in a timely manner, they stand behind all of their work, are knowledgeable about all makes and models and I trust them completely to be fair. I have recommended this shop to my friends for years and will continue to do so.

Replaced harmonic balancer on my 2002 Corvette. Only shop that seemed to know exactly how to fix it right. Did a great job. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Answered all my questions. Had it done in less than a day. Very reasonably priced. This is the place you want to bring your vehicle. Thank you to everyone involved.

My Civic needed an alternator replacement and was also having some issues while idling. After calling several other local shops, Precision had a very competitive quote and could also start working on my car immediately. I got my car back working perfectly in just a little over 24 hours. I hope I don't have any more car issues before graduation, but if I do I'll be coming back here!

As the owner of a construction company it is very important that I have my fleet of vehicles up and running. Greg has gone above and beyond to keep my vans rolling at all times with as little down time as possible. When we bring our vans in for service or an unknown issue, like squirrels chewing our wiring harness, to a simple ABS sensor whatever the issue may be, he always takes the time to explain it. Greg always keeps in communication with me on the findings and progress. I can't say enough about how happy I am that we found Precision Automotive and Greg!

I live in a college town next to a military installation. Finding an honest mechanic can be problematic. However, Precision Auto got my car right in, diagnosed the problem as a minor problem, and fixed it for a fair price. They did not try to sell me on radiator work because my radiator fluid PH balance was off like another mechanic tried to 'tack' on when I went in for an unrelated problem. I value honesty, and Precision Auto delivered, and at a fair price for professional work. I can trust them.

My first experience with the folks at Precision Automotive was great. They answered my questions on the phone, and were very pleasant in person. They called to give me an update on my vehicle, and was courteous when I decided to leave it there over the weekend. The only drawback was that they did not offer a military discount :-). I recommend this facility for your automotive repairs.

My daughter is a student at K-State and we were referred here three years ago by someone we know and trust from Manhattan. They have always been fair and do great work. Also, they only do the work needed to be done. Being from Minneapolis, it is nice to find a place my daughter can go to when she has car issues. I highly recommend Precision Automotive.

Honesty is the best policy, should be the motto of Precision Automotive. When my truck was in need of repair, I first took it to PA. Without going into too much detail, Gregg let me know that there was an alternative for my repairs. Which in turn saved me big bucks. Thank you Gregg

This shop was recommended to me by another mechanic who said these guys had a reputation of being able to handle more technical repairs than most shops. This proved true in my experience. I had taken my 1994 Ford van into shops several times to figure out why the engine was running so rough but with no success, so I took it to Precision. It took Precision a couple of days, but they finally figured it out - a bad capacitor in the computer. Instead of replacing the computer for hundreds of dollars, they replaced the capacitor for just $5 (plus a reasonable fee for all the time they spent in diagnostics), and the engine purrs like a wildcat now! I am very pleased.
