Due to the horrible winter weather with negative temps that we have had and continue to have. Our car would not start and so we called AAA yesterday with whom we have roadside assistance with; they told us that priority was being given to vehicles and people who were stranded out away from home. This morning we received a call from Chad of Mike's Wrecker Service that they were sending someone out to our house to jump start our car. John, a very professional and friendly tow truck operator arrived within a half hour and successfully jumped our vehicle off. Chad and John thanks for all you have done and continue to do for stranded motorists during this crazy weather. AAA sub contracts with Mike's Wrecker Service and so a great shout out to both entities that made our day!

I would give a negative for stars if the app allowed. However in order to get this review to post, I am forced to give 1 star, which is more than they deserve. I called Triple AAA early on a Monday before a winter storm moved in. As the alternator went out in my vehicle, then we get a call from Mike's Wrecker indicating the weather was to bad to come out to I-70. At that time it was NOT doing anything other than raining. It did not start snowing until around 10. I would NOT recommend them. I always thought the tow truck drivers are experienced drivers and could handle weather conditions. I guess not, rain is a problem obviously.

The most unprofessional company I have dealt with in my 17 years of military service (do not call them). We had a tire blowout on my dodge charger. The company said they were sending a truck to get my vehicle. After waiting for an hour I call them and say is the truck coming. They say it's a dodge charger correct i say yes they say dodge chargers have body kits we wont touch it. I said its stock it has no body kit which I told them it does not in the beginning and they say we won't touch it. As I try to talk the man just keeps interrupting me saying we won't touch it not even listening to me at all. So now I'm on the side of the highway in uniform because of this unprofessional unorganized poor excuse for a company. Should be called might tow service instead of mikes.

After a winter storm, I thought my car was toast, but when Joshua came to tow my car he helped me disengage my car s neutral safety switch! I was so embarrassed I didn t know about that, but Joshua even took the time to explain how it works to me (and saved me sooo much money!). 10/10 will definitely recommend to a friend in need.

After my car wouldn t start on KSU campus, Mikes towing was fast and very helpful to get my car towed to a dealership for repair. Would highly recommend using Mikes!

If you want to get scammed this is the place to go. Double to tipple the price of any other towing company. 160 for a 2 block tow. No joke, 160 for two blocks. 2 hour wait with a 100$ emergency charge. Quoted 20 minutes. Charged 410 for the emergency and 100 for the road cleaning that I and the police did. Their crew did nothing. They showed up so late might as well pick any day of the week. I got a little bit sassy with them and everything changed and ended up alright. This group is a scam artist, They do not care about the individual and they don't care about you.Service: Car towing

They are perfect company to use! Called back at no time at all. Didn't mind going quite far out of town. Came to rescue my husband immediately. And the price was half of what I was expecting. I unfortunately had to get towed twice within the span of about a month, one at about 6am, and the other in the evening. I had never needed a tow before, and as an out-of-state college girl, with family being three hours away, it was a nerve wracking experience. Both times, the gentlemen who came out to get me were very friendly and make me feel very at ease. I was not happy that I needed to get towed twice, but I m glad that I found Mike s to tow me.

Straight up scammers. A bunch of extra fees that make no sense and the guy on the phone with me was so insensitive and rude. Paid almost $500 for a short tow. Joshua came and did an AMAZING job. He treated my car like it was his. It is a Fiat convertible. Girly. But he told me it looked like a great car and showed me some things on it to ease my mind about it getting fixed.Its vulnerable to need help with your car and he really helped me feel better. Worst I recently got an accident and those peoples charge me $377 from Walters Dr to Alan Clark body shop. It s unbelievable Charge. Affordable towing charge me $75 from Alan Clark to Walters Dr. I recommended affordable towing best service cheaper price.

AAA sent this company to me for a dead battery issue. I'm giving them 2 stars because they were quick to respond and did fix the simple issue. However- neither person wore a mask, did not social distance, and one of them coughed while holding the paperwork that I then had to fill out and sign. My husband is military and we can't risk our house getting sick.Service: Battery service

THE WORST!!! I recently was in an accident and these people have my delegates the "run around" to get essentials out of my vehicle such as my wallet etc. I was, until like a day ago, still a patient in the hospital in Topeka and couldn't handle things without a phone or wallet. Once the doctors clear me to be able to carry and handle myself regular. I AM SURELY going to sue these individuals for emotional distress and everything under the sun that I can. These people are roaches who only care to make excuses and prolong the hold of your vehicle AND personal belongings to profit.

Girlfriend called AAA for clutch issues, driver shows up with no mask, drove our car full speed into the truck bed and popped a piece of the front bumper off. Driver was a nice dude however.
