My wife and I were looking for a specific vehicle at a specific price range. I called and spoke with Cam Clement. He listened to everything we asked, found the perfect match, walked us through the process, and was extremely personable. We got a great deal and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Everyone there was incredibly professional and respectful of our concerns and needs. We highly recommend this dealership. Ask for Cam. He will treat you well.

Came in looking for a car that was on their website, only to find it was at another location. So after the almost hour drive, we were understandably irritated. We should have called to verify, but we didn't. 100% our fault there. So Tristan and Tim got to work seeing if they could find us something else. We had some pretty specific needs, which wasn't easy for them. They ended up getting us into a new car that exceeded our needs, for not much more than we asked for. It was absolutely painless and was fast too. Best car lot experience I've had, ever. Might be a little bit of a drive, but definitely will give them another chance to sell me a car in the future.

Cons:I visited to view several vehicles listed on their website. Despite receiving assistance, I was informed that none of them were actually available and that their website wasn't regularly updated. After much effort, we found a vehicle we liked, but were surprised by a $1800 charge for mandatory dealer features added to the vehicle. Sadly we weren t able to close on the vehicle we liked as they would not remove these features that we found unnecessary.Pros:Hayden was very helpful and honest about the condition of their used vehicles.

I bought a car from Max motors on February 20th. it s now April 10 and I still don t have my title. They have been unhelpful and the lady I talked to was just plain rude. They say they re waiting on the title from the state of Kansas. But I know they ve just been using my money for their personal gain and not paying off the loan from the bank. I bought the car in full and they re telling me that it took two months to get the title from the bank due to trade-in. They say that s why I have a 60 day tag, but The 60 day tag is supposed to be for my convenience not theirs. Very unhelpful and I hope they pay for my expired temp tag ticket

I went to look at a Chevy Colorado. They told me the check engine light came on and they were going to get it checked out. Called me 2 days later said it was just a fluke and nothing was wrong. I believed them. Ended up buying the truck. 5 days later the check engine light came back on. It s now been back in their shop for over a month and i still don t know what all they re doing. Anytime I call I get the run around and never can get a straight answer. I truly feel I was misled and that the original check engine light wasn t a fluke that they just cleared the codes to get me to buy it. And now won t tell me what is wrong.I understand that I was buying a used truck. But still think something was wrong before I bought it. Their communication wasn t the best through the whole situation it could be a lot better.After my truck being in the shop for over 2 months. They allowed me to trade that truck back and get something different. They were very patient with me and helped make a bad situation good. They were able to find me a good truck to replace the one I had originally bought. I really appreciate them working with me and making it right!

We recently purchased a car from Max Motor Manhattan and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The team, from the salesman (Harry Bacon) to the financing department, went above and beyond to provide us with a fantastic deal. We drove three hours to reach them, and it was absolutely worth it. No regrets whatsoever. I highly recommend Max Motor Manhattan to anyone in search of not just a car, but an outstanding buying experience. Kudos to the team for their dedication and excellent service!

I had a terrible experience with a dealership in Lawrence ks and they basically told me my trade in worth anything and I wasn t going to be able to get a new car. I contacted Henry as I had purchased from him before and, by that afternoon, they had me in a brand new 2024 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy! I worked with Henry, Shaun, and Tim and they were all amazing! They truly went above and beyond for me!

Ok. The service department is great. With that being said....since I have had several issues w my vehicle..Hyundai side. I tried to trade it in. I guess I expected too much. I've called several times in the last few weeks for a salesperson to get back w me. What a joke. No one has. Unless u consider a automated text contact. It's very impersonal. 1 effort was made a couple of months back. But because of the 100 questions this person asked and wasnt given time to answer...left me feeling a bit lost in the conversation. Needless to say..I've have a few more things go wrong. I hadn't even bothered with them. Again. A local car dealership...let me down. It's truly sad. The old saying comes to mind....if your affiliated w the military..shop elsewhere...and yes when you don't get answers from persons working there or there service department cannot recreate the issue.. then nothing happens.

Shawn Baer is a fantastic salesman and great to work with, made the process very easy and expedited - absolutely would recommend. However, Trevor in finance gave a less than desirable experience. I declined financing thru Max and Trevor complained to me about not making any money on this sale and he needed to check to see if he could still sell the vehicle He then tried to convince me that interest rates were going to be dropping and to finance thru Max and refinance later. Don t let Trevor s hustle to earn a few bucks impact what can be a big life decision for some.

Horrible car service. Paid $279 for taillights and headlight on Saturday. Got pulled over Wednesday, taillights still out. They fixed it Friday for $120, blaming a missed blown fuse. Confused about extra charge, mechanic poorly explained. The receptionist down talked the mechanic. Left upset, feeling taken advantage of as a college student. Manager refunded after noticing. Taillights out AGAIN Monday. Demanded manager fix it. This time blamed a cable. Overall, a distasteful waste of time.

Worked with them on my 2019 Hyundai Veloster 2.0 with services on my coils and spark plugs, each time they took care of the issue and did not fight over warranty at all, they even went ahead and did an oil change for me since it was about time and covered it under warranty which is amazing. They also got me a good deal on trading in the car i said above for a 2020 Hyundai Veloster N and worked with me the entire way to get me the best deal and payments, the salesmen are not pushy whatsoever and will not pressure you into buying a car that you do not want. Amazing staff, amazing people, would work with them again in the future. Side note, servicing your car will take some time but these people do amazing work so give them their time and space, be patient, and know your car is in good hands, don t listen to the people in the reviews saying it takes hours.. .

Absolutely horrible place to buy any type of New or Used automobile, the downright worst in the entire State of Kansas!I have waited since Dec 2023 for Max Motors of Manhattan which included low life (Tristin Moore and Kyle Wiggins) typical used car sales people to lower the price on a 2020 Corvette, that was absurdly priced by more than the original MSRP in 2020 of $95,000.The greedy owner of Max Motors of Manhattan , whom owned the 2020 Corvette, had it listed for $99,000 as it had close to 4000 miles on it, and it was four years old. It was a used 2020 Corvette.I had 10-15 emails and several phone calls to Max Motors of Manhattan over the past three months and they both knew (Tristin Moore and Kyle Wiggins) that I wanted the Corvette.Yesterday morning, I got an email from Tristin letting me know that the Corvette s price was lowered and I immediately emailed him back and told him Consider it sold as I will buy it . It was still priced a bit high, but I was willing to pay it.Well, all day I was waiting to hear back from him and nothing. I decided to call him and he said he was working on MY sale for the car and he would be in touch with me asap. I never heard back from him.Just today, another sales person told me by email, that the 2020 Corvette was just sold and she was very sorry that they did this behind my back . She also said, that this was very unprofessional of the sales persons (Tristin Moore and Kyle Wiggins) and Max Motors of Manhattan to do this to me after all the effort I had put in to buy the car .I would say that Max Motors of Manhattan will give you the same service that you would get at a Jack in the Box. Perhaps, Jack in the Box would be a bit better. Max Motors of Manhattan and their sales people are unscrupulous greedy, and we all know, what goes around comes around .I do hope that this honest review will seriously cost Max Motors of Manhattan and all the other locations, significantly lowered sales in the future for years to come.This is the worst case of GROSS unprofessionalism that I have experienced in my (45) years of buying new and used automobiles.As of writing this review, no one from "Max Motors of Manhattan" has bothered to call me back to apologize, with the exception of the woman in an email, with whom I m sure that both low life sales guys (Tristin Moore and Kyle Wiggins) that were not man enough to call me, so they had her do it by email.It is car dealerships like Max Motors of Manhattan that give a very bad name to the retail Auto Industry that have a truthful business, and really do care about their clientele, and do an honest way of business every day.BEWARE that Max Motors of Manhattan have locations in Richmond, Lee s Summit, Belton, Harrisonville, Butler, Clinton and Nevada, KS. I would stay away from all of these locations, as well.So, if you want a New and Used Auto Dealership that are unprofessional and completely dishonest in dealing with their clientele, then I would say that Max Motors of Manhattan is the place for you!

Not happy with lack of communication. The business is completely unorganized. Since day one of buying our Kia it has been nothing short of a hassle. They kept losing our paperwork to send over to the lending company and I on multiple occasions had to leave my post to bring them paperwork I had already gave them. Once that was finally settled the dealer tags on our vehicle expired, we did not get the title to our vehicle until 4 months later and they refused to give us new tags to be legal. Instead the lady on the phone literally told me "oh well people drive with expired tags all the time". Then our vehicle broke down while my wife was driving back from her friends house for Thanksgiving. We have full coverage and the service plan thats supposed to cover our tow and a rental. However when my wife called to see what we had to do to solve the issue they gave her the run around and no one provided any straight answer. It took me calling from overseas, deployed, to finally get ahold of someone to solve the issue which i find very disrespectful.This dealership has a major issue with communication and organization. Like a typical dealership they took advantage of the fact we were desprit for a vehicle.I highly recommend that you do not use this dealership and go elsewhere for good service.

Sales guy was very insulting offered me $5000 for a 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium for a trade in. Trade in value is $10,230. Outright sale price is $16,000. No thanks won't be going there & steering away any family & friends buying g from them.

I had an amazing experience getting my car here. It was the easiest process I have ever been through buying a car, they transported to my town at another location and I only went in for financing. I live 2.5 hours away from this location and got amazing service to purchase this vehicle without driving there. Thank you so much to Max Motors and Peyton for making my experience so amazing!!

Everyone in service was very friendly and helpful. Troy Woodsra is a great service manager. Always acknowledges his customers. The service advisor was excellent. Not sure his name, but I can identify his as a bald man. Wish I could remember his name. Rodney the courtesy driver got me home and is very good at his job. He definitely deserves 5 stars.

My wife and I purchased a vehicle from them a couple months ago. Because I work so much, my wife was the one that visited the showroom. They were nice enough to let her bring it home for a day or two so I would have a chance to check it out. After looking over the car, I had a couple of MINOR things I wanted them to take a look at (touchup paint on the rear bumper, slight tire noise, small emergency shift plug by the shifter and detail the engine bay). They agreed to all these things and gave us a loaner car while they took care of it. The loaner car was gross. The smell of smoke was horrible, but let's forget about that. They brought the car back to us the following Monday. None of the things had been addressed at all. Why keep it for 4 days and just let it sit? If your not going to even look at it, don't lie to me! Ultimately, we love the car. But be fore warned. If you expect things to be right when you get your car, don't expect it to be from them.

I took my Hyundai in for a recall issue. Jolene in the service department took great care of me and my car. She found two other recalls and had them handled in the time frame already agreed upon. The whole department was really nice.

Shop around if looking for to buy parts. Crazy markup. Paid $180 less for the same part at the ford dealer down the road. Several other times have priced parts and has always been substantially higher than valor or Galvan, that 30 miles is well worth the drive

Dillon Ruthstrom was very easy and convenient with our financing. It was awesome we could do everything online. Our salesman Blu Leavell made it so great and easy. He delivered the car to our driveway. Never had a car buying experience go so good. We didn't have to step one foot on the car Definitely recommend Max Motors. Thanks Blu and Dillon

Just another dealership that will rob you of everything that you have if they could. If you're a soldier, avoid this place. They will make an attempt to get you alone and lock you down with a "contract" or "warranty" that you do not need and lie their way to thousands of your dollars. Despicable.

Worst experience ever 10 months on a warranty replaced the motor have it back with a broken erg valve. And they can't even reinstall supports correctly. Just down right terrible service I will never be doing business I highly recommend you find another ford dealership to work with.

This is my second experience buying a car through Max Motors, and I ll never go to another dealership! John helped me out each time and was a pleasure to work with. He made the process easy, was very personable, and answered any questions I had with ease. Dillion was an amazing help getting everything started for me before even arriving at the dealership, which made the process quick! I would highly recommend these guys each time and love my new vehicle!

Fantastic!This is a huge shout out to Peyton one of the salesmen there! This guy is genuine and just wants to make sure you a taken care of through you whole process! I came in on Saturday before work todo some test driving, I found the truck I wanted.I told him I ll be back on Monday, he went ahead and put the truck away for no one else could see it/have it. He texted me on Monday morning just to check in and let me know he s already filling up the truck with a full tank of gas. I highly recommend you go to him for anything you need! Not one time he was ever pushy!Now for the finance manager, Trevor! Another top notch guy! Trevor made the truck buying experience make sense! I ve purchased a few cars in my life time so far and he was the first to really explain the whole process. Some guys just tell you to sign here and here and here not Trevor dude just wants to help you out financially!10/10 highly would recommend buying a truck or car from Max Motors!
