Bought a family van from Frieling almost a year to date. Bought it for around $7,000 cash and put $1500 of work into it about 5 months ago. Well the engine blew. Originally, Frieling said he would work with us to get a new vehicle because we just bought this one from him. Now he is basically saying he'll give us $100 for the van and doesn't have any vehicles to help us buy from him as we don't have cash deposit now. Family of 7, one being a newborn. Thanks Frieling for stealing all my families savings and stability. I'd rather be dragged behind 17 horses before doing business with them again. Just don't.

I love my new used car! Wayne purchased my old Toyota at a good price and gave me a great price on my purchase. I didn't know what I was looking for; I just knew I wanted another vehicle to drive. Wayne had some great ideas. He let me test drive a few. Wayne can find you any car you're looking for. I can't even tell you how excited I am with my new purchase, a sassy little convertible. I would highly recommend breaking Wayne at Frieling Auto.

I was very happy with the professionalism and the desire to get me the car I was looking for. I called Wayne on a Tuesday and told him what kind of car I was looking for and I was driving that car away Thursday morning. I had heard how great it was to go through this dealership so I called him from Lawrence, KS and he took great care of me. I feel that Wayne was very honest with me he told me what to expect with the car that he had found me and when I went to see it he was right on the money, he did not hide anything from me. I definitely recommend going through Frieling Auto if you are in the Market for a used car. I have been telling everyone about my experience. I have gotten nothing but complements from everyone that sees my car. Thank you Wayne and Frieling Auto.

I would definitely recommend Frieling Auto. They were very nice and professional, answered all my questions about the vehicle I was looking at. Very forthcoming about the few faults it had. 3 weeks after I took it home the check engine light came on so they had me bring it back to get looked at. They ended up replacing the head gaskets, radiator, and water pump no questions asked. Wayne even fixed the door handle for me. They went way above what I was expecting and I will definitely recommend them to anyone.

Bought a car that kelly blue book valued at $3,200. Test drove it and it had check engine light and some rattling. Tried to negotiate down the price but he refused to go less. Was told the vehicle drove fine from colorado and that the squeaking was probably from it sitting so I agreed to the extra $1,000 thinking the car would have been at least decent.Decided to have another mechanic look at it and the whole suspension was trash. He refuses to help pay for the fixes since he can get discounted parts and they "didnt know." "I should have called them." If you lied to me about your trashed vehicle, Im not going to trust you to fix my car.If you can get discounted parts then you are certified to do maintenance and you know 100% you sell trash cars at over priced values just to get even more money when they have to bring it back to you to get it fixed. Not to mention when I looked at the title they gave me they also lied about that drive from "colorado".They are a scam.

I noticed an excessive burning smell with smoke coming up from the hood at the end of my test drive. Very unsettling after driving an hour from my home to test drive a van. Also one of the automatic side doors would not open more than a few inches. This is the only vehical I test drove.

This is not the place to go. I was talking to them over email about a truck and I asked one question. If they did financing. I had the money to get what I wanted, but I was curious because I knew of a couple others looking. I figured if it went well I would recommend them. Well never heard back from anyone. Called told them who I was and who I was talking to and got hung up on. So I went to Briggs instead. I got judged just for a question that I was asking not even for me. I got a truck anyways and so far 1 of my friends got something from the other guys as well. I hope you all learned something.

Went to see their selection of vehicles and they are pretty rough. They were very upfront about damage (known and unknown) and things needing to be fixed. I had looked at one car which looked really nice and was within our cash price but he steered us away saying the passenger door could not be locked and away from another one because he believed the transmission was going out. If I had the knowledge, time, and money this would be a great place to get a fixer.

Worked with Wayne and Terry. Both were nice and neither was pushy. Was allowed to look and test drive without pressure. Picked out a vehicle i wanted. Worked through my own bank and then Terry helped me sort out the rest of the details and we now have a nice truck. Lots of people complain about used vehicle lots but its used vehicles. They had no problem with me checking it out no problem with me running a car fax (I prefer to do my own). I learned who the previous owner was and found them on Facebook and we discussed the vehicle in detail. How much he got on it as a trade in vs how much they were asking was a very reasonable offer and he even worked with me a bit on that. If I am still here I plan to go to them for any other used car I may need and see what they have.Key points for meNot pushyQuick with answers and paperworkLet me do my own research and mechanic checksWill I ho back...YES.

Wonderful experience! The vehicle I purchased seemed sound when purchased and appeared to be in great condition, Terry let me know that not much was known about the vehicle, during the first week of having the vehicle it showed signs of transmission trouble, they replaced what needed replaced. I'm so grateful for their professionalism and compassion. Will be going back for my next used car purchase!

Terry and Wayne offered top-notch service and professionalism. Got the Jeep I wanted at the cost I wanted. Jeep is in excellent shape and they even offer a 2 or 4 year warranty for added protection. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Thanks, guys! UPDATE: After an unexpected issue ( it is a used car, after all ) and a complex repair, Frieling put a sizeable amount toward the repair -- without hesitation -- to continue backing up their cars with great customer service.

Just bought a truck from them. Terry was very friendly and helpful. I think some of their negative reviews are people who don't understand the issues old cars have and didn't do their research before purchasing a vehicle.Terry was very open about all possible negative things about the truck trying to help make sure I wasn't surprised when I traveled from Indiana. All in all a good experience and I'm happy with the truck, thanks Terry!

SAVE YOUR TIME & HARD EARNED MONEY AND DO NOT BUY ANY VEHICLES FROM THIS PLACE! I payed 13k for a truck knowing it would need some small work done on it , 5 days later I found out just about every fluid was leaking , radiator, oil, also just about everything in the front end was trashed, ball joints, cv shaft, Tie rods, even the battery wiring was all jacked up , I returned the vehicle immediately, terrible terrible service! It would have been okay if they would have told me all the problems that were wrong with it and then working out a lower price by about 5k in repairs but instead they were very firm on price since they said the truck was in such good condition .. Do not buy from this place they don t mind ripping you off!

So, I have never left a review for any business, before. I wasn't planning on changing that, either. It never really occurs to me. Even when they ask me to leave a review I usually think, "I mean, they did what they were supposed to do. What's to say about it?" And I just don't bother. But when I closed my deal on this truck I bought from Terry at Frieling Auto, I actually thanked the man for being such a great person to work with. I HATE the car buying experience. I strongly dislike any dealer, and used car dealers seem to be the worst. But Terry was the best car dealer I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. He didn't hound me. He didn't list off useless facts to me. Maybe he noticed during our brief initial conversation that I knew what I was looking for and didn't try to steer me, idk. He let me take the reins and drive through the whole process, while he made sure he was easily accessible should I need his assistance. It felt casual. It felt comfortable.Look, I know these are used cars and trucks. He knows these are used cars and trucks. He shot straight with me. If I noted a flaw, he didn't deny it or defend it, he would agree. I appreciate that. Some of the vehicles seemed a bit steeply priced, some seemed like a great deal. I did my research on each vehicle I was interested in. I don't just take someone's word on it, and Terry didn't seem one bit perturbed by it.I would definitely work with Terry again, should the circumstance present itself. He's the only gentleman I spoke with there, so I can't say it's the same with everyone that works there. Again, I generally dislike the car salesman dynamic, but he was the exception. I am not going to be upset if the water pump goes out in my "new" truck next month. I bought a used vehicle. And I bought it from a used car dealer that made my experience the first positive auto buying experience I've ever had.If you're buying a vehicle, especially used, do your research. It's their job to sell it, it's your job to make sure it's the vehicle for you. If you stop by Frieling Auto, say hi to Terry for me =)

The guys are really nice but I test drove 4 vehicles and everyone had something wrong I thought I finally found a decent vehicle from them I was wrong paid 10,000 dollars for a 2008 Nissan frontier and the compression in cylinder 5 is shot I had to do a rear end that was 900 dollars a month after I bought it and now it won't even run because the compression is low I'd have to say they need to go over their vehicles alot better and i haven't even had the truck a year and the guy behind the front desk said the check engine light was due to oil change no it wasn't it was because the codes it had stored in it

Took my grandson to look at trucks he thought there was good vehicles there however when we returned I when we went there they weren't as expected the one he had Chosen and took another loan for had bad brakes couldn't start without being jumped with a high-power jumper and there was lots of rust. Air conditioner blew Air that was it. The salesman are the owner not sure if the of one. Was a pleasant man as I was talking to him while my grandson was test driving the vehicle however my grandson came back and said that he couldn't he couldn't buy it too much wrong with it but the man was present he did try to pressure him at all. There were some excellent looking Vehicles there but they were out of the price range which is to be expected. So I will not I will not slam this dealership. You get what you pay for I think it's the word that I would use. There were a couple of vehicles I would have precious myself if I needed a vehicle spell remember.... Phil review this have a wonderful day!

I have done a lot of car hunting over the years because I hate pushy car sales people. The guys I dealt with at Frieling were truly a great set of people to deal with. They started out with an already good deal that I was not able to beat anywhere else however, I was shopping for a vehicle in an emergency situation and had limited funds. They came down in price a bit for me to get within the amount of cash I had available. I left happy with a good vehicle and hope to purchase a future vehicle from them as well.p

After several frustrating weeks of searching for dependable and affordable vehicles, first for my mom who was rear ended, then for me (the idiot who tried to drive a clunker to Colorado) it was a relief to meet with Wayne Frieling. We have been through 5 vehicles in four years and we did not have much faith in the car industry anymore. It was as if he knew the world of cars had done us wrong and he was the super hero there to save us from our misery. He was straight up, nice, listened to all of our concerns, anwsered all of our questions (we had a lot!), and when we finally found a wonderful vehicle we wanted to buy, he offered us an unbeatable warranty to go with it. It was the peace of mind we were looking for. We didn't walk away feeling swindled or cheated like most car places, we walked a way breathing a sigh of relief. We had found a car we could count on. Wayne took the time to find us exactly what we needed. It didn't stop there. He checked back with us and made sure he fixed any concerns we did have after driving the car for a few days. (We really didn't have any but it was great to have that reassurance!) I highly recommend Frieling Auto Sales. Both their cars and service are unbeatable!

Was sold a hybrid car with a known battery issue. The codes were cleared so when I had them ran, nothing appeared. When I complained and asked for a remanufactured battery I was given an equally dead junkyard battery. The car lasted 3 months before dying completely. I now have a $5,000 car that needs 3-4 k in repairs according to the dealership.

WORST experience I have ever had with a car dealership. For starters, they have no communication etiquette, they give very little to no interest in potential car buyers, especially when they email to make an appointment.I asked to look at a car on Saturday at 2:30 on Saturday, they said "okay" nothing else, I received better customer service.Second, I checked the site to see verify the mileage on the car and it was no longer there, I thought maybe it's close to my appointment that they took it off, I called this afternoon, they said they sold it, never asked if I wanted to keep my appointment, nothing. And they hung up on me.Would not recommend, never giving my business to this company0/10, I would give a negative star if I could.

They were very upfront and honest with potential problems with vehicles. We drove 5 hours to look at a particular vehicle and Mark was very helpful in this process.

We recently purchased a car from Freiling, only to have some major unforeseen issues within a couple of weeks from the purchase. While they in no way had to, Terry went above and beyond to make the situation right. We are more than happy with the results and would gladly do business with them again.

Emailed about a WRX they had listed on Autotrader, i asked about title status, if it leaked anything, normal questions right? In response I got "awd" that was it, nothing else to the email than "awd" so I mentioned I knew the vehicle was awd, anf wanted to know of any damage, or other issues, as well as the status of the title, this time I got "clean title" well, at least that time he answered one of the questions. I took my buisness elsewhere and got a beautiful 2010 Volkswagen GTI. Dont do buisness with this guy, he clearly cant respond to emails with more than just a couple words. I'd understand if its because he was busy, but Ive contacted far larger dealerships during much busier parts of the day and they still got back quicker and with ALL the information I had requested. This place is a joke.

This company doesn't clean, shine, and make pretty what they have. They buy at auctions and sell as is. They don't have history on the car, the less they know the better for them. If you are smart and do your research before going to the lot you will be fine. If you wander in hoping someone will give you a great deal because you have no idea what you are buying, don't go. Test drive the vehicle, take an internet capable phone and look up the VIN number, look under the hood before you test drive, look under the vehicle for issues. Taking it to a mechanic is smart. Used is used and you have to have your guard up. This company isn't looking out for you they are a business wanting a profit. Are they shady, I don't think so. Do they hope you are young and don't look up KBB or have someone with you, yes just like every other used car dealership. I purchased an old truck knowing full well what I was getting myself into because I test drove it to the mechanic before buying, had a friend look at it, and did my research. I also did not pay sticker price and don't believe anyone should. The front brakes were very bad, and I reduced the price of the truck by the amount of the brakes, knowing they were bad.

Bought my truck from Frieling Auto Sales. The 4 wheel drive went out a couple weeks after purchase. Frieling fixed it for free no questions asked. They are an honest straight forward dealership and not afraid to do the right thing.

I didn't catch the name of the man that helped us but he was nice, not pushy. We ended up finding a vehicle at another place. We never did get a reply back on appraisal of our trade in which played into the decision to not get the car from here. The website isn't the most helpful either. It comes off a little shady that a vin has to be requested rather than just openly available with a carfax or autocheck.

Beware! My wife and I purchased a 1998 Durango from these people 2 months ago (Feb 2017) for $3200. We noticed there were some mechanic/cosmetic issues with the vehicle at the lot; LOTS of rust, gear shift was functional but acting weird, lots of sand buildup, etc. We still decided to go with the vehicle, but asked for a discount due to said issues. They did come down a little ($300) which I was thankful for. Wasn't until we got home we found out that the CD player was non-functioning, and the tape deck was also non-functioning. The Power Steering system was shot and had to be fixed. But to top it off, within 2 months of owning this vehicle the drive shaft fell off while we were entering Manhattan and it is now completely useless to us. They do give you a very limited warranty on vehicles as you leave, but even that or the one they try to sell you on top of the vehicle at the lot cover only a small portion of repair costs in the event that is needed. Just make sure you do your homework and completely check these vehicles before you sign on that line.

So there wasn't much for financing options and they seem to be behind the curve with technology but pretty decent place. The truck I came to see was decent. Not at all worth the price they wanted and some things that was wrong with it wasn't made clear online. You get what you pay for so be careful.
