Great service. Easy to work with. Answered questions quickly. Keep you informed of progress. Very seamless. What I thought was a little bit of damage was much more cosmetic that I didn't notice--they did and got it finished in a good amount of time working with my schedule.

Brought my car in for a quote on a bumper repair. I was given a 9 day estimate originally but after bringing them my car they extended that to 21 days. Once it was supposed to be done they never contacted me, I had to reach out and was told they can try to finish it the day it was supposed to be done (they didn t) I have now called everyday and been told the same answer. Still no clue if I am getting this back in a week or another month. 0 communication or effort to let you know when they will finish with your car. I was supposed to leave the city today but since they did not properly communicate when my car would be finish I wasn t able to get a rental scheduled in time and will miss an important event in my life. Won t be coming back.

I had one of the worst experiences with the company. I left my car with them after a storm in the Summer of 2022. It took them over a month after what the quoted me and would not return my phone calls or my insurance companies phone calls for two weeks. When they finally did get the repairs done they did not complete the repairs and then they called me 7 months after the repairs claiming I owe them more money and threatening collections. This company is the biggest scam I have delt with.Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Auto glass replacement

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS. Their estimate said 3 days. Somehow it took 17. No communication about why it took so long. When I complained they assured me this was the industry standard for a repair like this. Replacing a bumper cover is not a 17-day repair. For the last 10 days I got daily communication that it was on schedule for March 9. Not surprisingly, it wasn't ready on March 9 (which was day 16). And no one called to tell me why. Today I called to ask what was going on. Nobody answered. So I texted. Suddenly it was ready. Was it also ready yesterday and nobody thought to tell me? Could somebody please explain how a bumper cover takes this long? I could assemble a new car from scratch faster than this repair took.

I WOULD NOT USE THIS SHOP FOR REPAIRS!!! The staff were professional and helpful. The quality of the work was not satisfactory. I rejected the work the first time. The car was returned dirty so the paint could not be inspected properly. There was dust in the paint, fish eyes in the paint, scuff marks in door jamb. The inner fender was never painted, was still covered in primer. The rear bumper cover did not have the same shine as the paint. When I went back to pick up the vehicle there was a paint run on the inside door jamb, scratches in clear coat, and scuffs on the rocker panel. Poor panel fitment.

I was pleased to see the respect and courtesy the staff showed me. Nancy and Harry went above and beyond. They kept me updated on the progress of my vehicle. I was completely surprised when I picked up the vehicle the day it was scheduled to be finished. To sum up the experience at Collision Works I will definitely be taking my business there again. Thanks again Nancy and Harry. I really appreciate your help!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Took my GMC Terrain in after a fender bender to get the bumper replaced. The quote I was given was lower than any of the others I got. I went to 4 separate places for quotes before collision works. The team there was astounding. So friendly and nice. Their receptionist is hilarious and such a sweet lady. The got my car in and kept me up to date the whole time they had it about the parts they had to order and how long it was going to take. They said with ordering parts it would be about 3 days and they had it back to me within 2. You can t even tell I was in an accident the work was so good and the team was so efficient and nice. I ll definitely be back if I ever need work done on my car in the future! 10/10

What a great shop! Although my car was totalled by the insurance, the days leading up to it were great. The staff is friendly and very informative. Text and website keep all work tracking so no question as to what is going on. Christopher was wonderful, he was going to clean up the pop that spilled in our wreck which interior mess was not something I thought would be done. This morning as I cleaned out the car, he removed the license plate for me and was very sympatheticto our situation. I will use them for all my future needs for sure!

I hit a deer in my 2016 Chevy Silverado. I had a pheasant hunting trip planned for 10 days from when I dropped my truck off. I explained to them that if they could not assure me the damages would be fixed before I left, then I would just wait to have the repairs done when I get back. Not only did they keep their word on giving me my truck back in time, they beat their mark by 5 days. My truck looked brand new when I got it back. The paint and the finish matched perfectly. I received text messages during the entire process, it felt good to be kept in the loop. When I got my truck back it was spotless inside and out, I highly recommend using them. 100% satisfiedService: Body & Trim

I brought my '08 Camry here because a part under the front bumper had partially torn loose and was dragging on the ground. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Annette looked at my car and gave me a quote. She told me the part was called the under cover (good to know) and that both the left and right sides needed to be replaced, to the tune of $267. Okay, fine. I went to schedule with the front desk and was told they would need to keep my car for up to two days. Why? I asked. I need my car to get to work. They said they wouldn't know exactly what was required till they started working on it, and it would also depend on how many other cars they were working on at the time.I don't know a lot about cars, but this didn't seem like a complicated repair to me, and I didn't see why my car should be sitting in the shop waiting for other people's repairs while I could be driving it instead. I left without making an appointment.Today I called my local body shop. They got me right in, took 10 minutes to refasten my under cover with zip ties, and charged me $10. Sure, it's not as pristine as all-new parts, but all I care about is that it's not dragging on the ground anymore. Collision Works went straight to the most expensive option without telling me there were other possibilities. If you go there, I recommend getting a second opinion.

Great customer service. They stand behind their warranty 100% as well. I had to utilize their services on two separate occasions. I returned the second time because of the great experience I had the first time. However over a year later I had a small issue and they covered it completely under the warranty. They even let me use their loaner car. I am completely satisfied and highly recommend them.

Repaired my first car with solid customer experience. Brought in different car with mirror damage. They order part and said it would be a week. Never heard from them so I called 3 weeks later. They did not return my call. I went to competition down the street and they ordered and installed the part in less than a week. All I ask is for commutation. They didn t provide so they lost my future business.

My drivers mirror was damaged by a local car wash so I was referred to Gerber for the repair. The guys took great care of me and even washed my car before I picked it up which was such a nice unexpected surprise. Thank you!

I sent my car here to get a quote after a collision. I don't know why but I found the receptionist to be rude and unpleasant to deal with. She would get annoyed when having to answer questions and would simply hang up after a short while. (I was only attempting to get basic information such as when the quote might be ready and what information I would need to provide.) Maybe she was having a bad day but judging from past reviews, it seems I wasn't the only one who's had to deal with her "charms". Other than that, the job was done in a reasonable time. I would recommend Gerber if you're willing to deal with her.Service: Auto body & trim repair

My car got pretty jacked up during the big ice over recently. My insurance recommended that I send it to CollisionWorks to be repaired. When I got there I was greeted very warmly. I was given an estimated time upon completion and they kept me informed every step of the way. They cleaned my car for me which is unbelievable. My son turned my car into his toy and snack cave. So them doing that went above and beyond in my mind. Great place. The price might be high but at the end of the day they do it right. So you can't go wrong.

I had 13 hail and door dings removed from my daily driver @ KS Coachworks earlier this year. The price was fair, and I am happy with the results. Unfortunately, the entire experience was ruined because their front office customer service is extremely sub-par. The lady who answers the phone is consistently rude and hard to work with. I feel like "I" am a problem every time I call and have to talk to her, when all I was trying to do was schedule my drop-off or ask a very simple question.I need some body work and a new paint job on my project car, and my latest interaction with her has led me to try another business instead.

I was honestly pretty disappointed. They were nice but communication was very poor and I ended up with 2 nails in a completely different tire and a headlight that was out on the side that was suppose to be repaired/replaced. I called to let them know and it was basically told I need to deal with it myself. There were several other things I wasn t happy about but they really aren t as big a deal and I would have probably not even noticed them but they left me with a bad taste. Really doubt I ever be going back.

Chris made this experience great! I had a rough start trying to figure out whose insurance was going to pay for what, but he made sure everything was taken care of and that I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket. I even had to go to the dealership and he made sure that it all got billed to insurance. They have been a lot more helpful than my own insurance. I highly recommend this place not only for the great customer service but the great work they do.

My 2017 sedan required significant body work done ($3500) after an accidental scrape against a concrete pillar. The initial repair estimate was exactly what the final price for the repair ended up being. My car's paint color and finish was matched perfectly. I can't tell where the repair was done at all. They sent my wheel cover out to have it refinished and it looks perfectly matched with the other wheel covers. They also replaced my scraped tire and rebalanced my car after. My insurance recommended Kansas Coachworks and they covered the cost minus my deductible. I'm very pleased with all the work done and highly recommend them if your vehicle needs body repair.

This company run by an amazing woman named Kathy. The mechanics are so highly skilled and always willing to talk with customers. The work they do is highly recommended and I was told, that they have to take classes and get certification yearly. I have had an amazing experience with these guys!! My experience was unexpected because I have been cheated at shops being a girl...

Main problem: Rude Front Office (owner/manager)! Other major issue is that repairs done with many plastic parts and clips reused while they broken or deformed. Paint work is great, though. I will not recommend this shop to any one because I had to come back 3 times to have the repair done properly. And every time I got terrible treatment by store owner.Update: You were Kansas Coachworks and got bought out by Gerber Collision & Glass and this review was for KC and you know it. If you haven't changed your practices and quality then changing name doesn't make you better than awful you were before.

Collision Works of Lenexa went above and beyond and fixed my car quick and affordable. Even detailed it before I picked it up. Great communication with Christopher Shepard through the process. And the painter, Heath Kimberling, is absolutely one of the best in the business. Highly recommend!!

This review could have been much different if only coachworks had been honest and upfront about the time and cost. We had a slightly smashed hood in the front from a fender bender. We were quoted $600 and 3 to 5 days. This was very reasonable. After we brought the car in and they looked at it they said there was more damage than they originally thought and it would probably take two weeks and be around $1400. This was not a problem as we suspected there could be more damage on the undercarrage. After two weeks we called to pick up our car. We talked to Chris who said that they were still waiting on a frame-straightening machine and our car would take one more week to fix. This was where the frustration really started. After another week we called again, hoping to pick up our car. We were told that they ordered the wrong part and it would take another week. We called a few days later and they told us that our car would be ready on Friday. On Friday we called and were told that they still needed to paint the front which would take a few more days. We called again that Tuesday and they said it would be ready on Friday again. Finally after almost five weeks we were able to pick up our car that Friday. What was originally 3 to five days and $600 turned into a month and $6000. We felt very lied to and that we were strung along on an emotional roller coaster. I am eight months pregnant and my husband and I work full time, so having to make due with one vehicle for a month was incredibly stressful. I gave them two stars instead of one simply because the work was good. I cannot reccomend this place to anyone unfortunately.

My vehicle was recently hit in a parking lot and I had to go here to meet my Nationwide rep so he could evaluate the amount of damage on my vehicle. My damage wasn't severe, primarily the taillight and the paint, but they did appraise it around $1kI've previously used another body shop and have always been happy with their work, but I decided to give Kansas Coachworks a try. Their customers seem to like them, they have been in business for many years, and a woman owns the business; it is so rare to find a female entrepreneur in this field of work. So I decided to give the business a shot.I'll first start by saying that my vehicle requires special paint. It is a red multi-layered metallic paint. It takes talent to get their type of paint work right. Even the Nationwide rep warned me that it might not look like a perfect match due to the color. But they did an excellent job. It blends in perfectly with the previous paint and you wouldn't even know it had been repaired unless a Carfax report was pulled. The staff is also friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. A huge plus to the experience was Enterprise bringing the vehicle to Kansas Coachworks, so it was ready to drive away when I dropped my car off. I was also able to drop the rental off with Kansas Coachworks rather than taking it to Enterprise. The only reason they are getting four stars is because it took a month to get my vehicle in for body work. Maybe it was due to all the storms we've had this summer or maybe it is because they are so popular. The other body shop could have gotten me in much faster, but I decided to ride it out because the damage wasn't horribly noticeable. If the damage was worse, I most likely would have taken it to the other body shop because I could have made an appointment within a week. So I would suggest to the business to expand their facility if they do not want to lose customers.

Mark and his team did excellent work, in a very timely manner, to take care of the auto-body work on my vehicle. Pricing was reasonable, communications occurred as was needed, with the end result being a detailed & repaired vehicle back on the road with very minor inconvenience. Thanks, Kansas Coachworks!

Had a great experience here! I had hail damage repair...they completed the repair within 24 hours and Rodney went around with me to look over the car to make sure I was satisfied... a very personable experience! I'll be back if I ever need body repair work in the future.
