Brought in the vehicle the first time to take care of overheating issues and other engine problems plus routine maintenance. Tech assured me everything was taken care of but driving less than a mile down the road, overheating issue is still present so I turn around and drop it back off. Afterward they state that there is a crack in the radiator so they change that out plus thermostat and new hoses. Drive out of the parking lot again and the same issue happens not even a mile down the road so again, I turn around and head back. Asked Josh why techs are not driving the vehicle afterward to ensure issues are corrected. Didn't give a definitive answer but left the vehicle again to have them figure out the issue. 3rd times the charm hopefully and waiting to hear back on what they discover. Not too happy about it. Will update survey rating depending on how they perform.

The customer service was above and beyond. They talked me through their recommendations and helped me make an informed decision on what work needed to be done now versus what could wait. By far the best Firestone location I have been to.

I understand that you don't work on transmission but when I paid over $100 for diagnostic and you didn't even inflate my tires that had a low level light on and when i asked if my battery was on and you responded ya it is fine but after just a couple days you had to jump start it when i picked it up... not good service at all.

Firestone Service Centers are very professional and staffed by good people. We like their early opening hours and even open on Sunday.

I was SO pleased with my experience here!! I had an unexpected flat tire and they were the only place fairly close to my home that would work me in on the same day to fix it!! AND they were so kind about it!! Everyone I dealt with there was very nice. I had a couple other issues they took care of for me also as well as another that they actually explained how I could take care of partially on my own and save a LOT of money. How many auto places does THAT?!?!? They were awesome. I'll be doing business with them again! I highly recommend them!!

If there was an option to give negative stars I absolutely would. I took my car to this firestone because of an issue I experienced on the right side of my vehicle. They advised me to fix both sides when there wasn't an issue on the left side. I told them to fix the right side. I picked up my car and was having the same issue as when I dropped it off. I let the manager Josh know. He told me they fixed the left side instead because that's what they decided to do (without consulting me. When really what happened is they fixed the left side in error). He was basically letting me know that regardless of what the customer requests and pays for, the mechanics here do what they want to your car at your expense. Josh was very unapologetic about it and offered no resolve. I called customer service and was supposed to receive a call from the Area Manager Douglas A. It's been 3 weeks of calling customer service and I have not received a call yet. I ended up taking my car to another Firestone where they let me know that the problem was NOT what I was previously told at this Firestone. The Shawnee Firestone fixed the problem on the RIGHT side. Now I have paid for 2 separate repairs! 1 of which, I did NOT need. Bottom line don't take your car here, because when they overcharge you or fix what they want, they'll take your money and send you out the door with your car still un-repaired. And, the corporate office will not support you or follow through with they're "2 Day Promise". I've been waiting 3 weeks for someone to call me back. My file number has been escalated to the highest level and still no response.

dont go here if you dont know anything about cars they will try to charge you 400 to replace your $10 sparkplugs. I am not even joking lol.buy a deep socket wrench and etc, google how to do it.

I don't usually leave reviews but my most recent experience with Firestone was a poor one. We have used this shop for years for tires and basics. They stated the do AC repair. After 4 visits and a new compressor I was told that what I really needed was an evaporator core and Firestone doesn't do that work. So now I have a brand new compressor and no air and have to take to a shop that does full work on ACs.The frustration is being told definitively that the compressor would fix the AC and that turned out to not be a true statement. Communication was disappointing and no offer to assist in resolution of my original AC not working.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Air conditioning

I haven't been to this location in quite a while. Previous manager, Curtis, was not honest.Current manager, Josh, is a great asset to this store. Car repair is typically expensive so it's good to see someone who actually treats people fairly. Thanks Josh and sales associate, Jim.

Wish I could give them a negative review. I was there 30 min before they closed and as I walked in i seen them telling the techs to go hide in the back. I'm from out of town and all I wanted was an oil change. That's just poor customer service. STAY AWAY

Like every place with a mechanic, they're great at what they do, they would be better if you would stop pushing parts that I did not need. I would be a more frequent customer if they didn't miraculously find 1000s of dollars in problems every time I come just to get an oil change, but right now this is about the equivalent of going to the dentist.Services: Transmission, Electrical, Wheel alignment, Transmission repair, Brakes, Battery

The gal working front desk is amazing, she knows her stuff and is up front and honest about everything. After leaving O Rileys knowing what there were telling me was wrong it was refreshing to encounter her. If you need work done stop by and get her opinion and quotes. Thank you so much saved me 150$ today.

Exceptional service. They were able to accommodate my schedule and quickly addressed every issue and concern I had with my vehicle. Staff was super knowledgeable and helpful. Details of repairs and pricing was discussed with me from the beginning, and at each stage of the process when issues were discovered during the inspection. They completed everything my car needed, in lightning speed. Truly exceptional customer service. I won t ever go anywhere else for Vehicle needs.

I was in & out with my oil change in less than 45 minutes...At a very reasonable price. Josh was friendly and right on top of my vehicle and the customers in front of me. Never saw anyone shuffle paperwork as fast & efficiently as he. I will definitely be back.

I got a screw in my tire at 6:00 p.m. I panicked a little because most tire shops close around 6:00. Google brought me to Firestone and man, am I grateful! Cody and Chris got me in and out and all fixed up super fast! Thanks, guys! I know where I'll be coming next time I need to have some work done on my car!

Had an appt at noon. Brought my car in at 11:30 in hopes of getting in early for the weekend. Waited until 2:30 before checking back only to find out my car had not been touched. Rude customer service blaming other employees for miscommunication that I had been double booked. They couldn t seem to understand that I wanted a tune up at 50k miles. This is the second time I have walked out being disappointed at this location. I manage a fleet of 60+ vehicles and have never experienced such poor service or incompetence. Off to somewhere else where I am treated respectfully and get the service I scheduled three days in advance completed in a timely manner.

I was very impressed with the professional manner that reflected in this experience. I think the man that assisted me was named Curtis? He was very polite and knew how concerned I was about my tire that was leaking. He offered me a great deal that I could not beat anywhere. Right there and then, my nerves were relieved. They also worked as a team. That is unusual to see. Even though I am a woman, these guys were professional (no rough language)and that is highly unusual. I am a dedicated lifelong customer.

Curtis and James are absolutely fantastic. I have been going to various Firestone shops in the midwest for the last decade... these guys are by far the best! I appreciate your transparency, knowledge, and friendly service. Service with a smile is hard to come by these days, but Curtis and James have got it figured out!

Curtis gave us superb customer service. We went in for a flat tire while driving from Wichita, KS. to Chicago, IL. and he pointed out that our all wheel drive suv has had the wrong size tires on. Our car has been to dozens of auto shops in the years since getting tires and no one ever caught this huge issue!!! Since it was an emergency to get to a family graduation on time - they got us in and out in great time. You can tell these guys care. I would recommend to any of my friends and family in the KC area.

I had to give it one star in order to even post this. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP if you are a woman who is alone; especially if you do not know much about cars. I went in there on a Saturday morning for a tire repair. I was in the KC area from 3 hours away and lucky me, ran over a nail. I went in hoping it would be quick and easy as I had to get to the airport that morning. First off, they told me the tire could not be repaired and said I needed a new one, okay... fine, I'll do that. (Upon several other shops and people, that flat could have been fixed no problem). So we get a new tire on there and I needed a new lug. He ordered the lug from a part store, well he happened to order the wrong one so had to order again, at this point an hour has went by and nothing had been done. So the new and RIGHT part comes in and he comes out and tells me my wheel bearings are shot and needed to be replaced (not at all the case). Then he also tells me that all of my tires are shot and need to be replaced.... I just had them replaced a few months ago. I went to another shop and they said they're perfectly fine. Upon review of my receipt and service ticket, it advises me of a tire positioning advisory that I acknowledged that for safety reasons, new tires should be mounted on the rear of my vehicle. Once again, not true as new tires on MY vehicle should be installed to the front and older ones rotated to the back. They definitely tried to make a sell vs. looking out for the best interest of their customer. I am absolutely appalled and livid that I was completely taken advantage of. I am glad I was able to call someone to not let me fall into their trap. Absolutely ridiculous; don't fall into their trap!

Did a fantastic job aligning my front end. Car was driving terribly, they fit me in same day and fixed the issues. Car is aligned straight and true. Would absolutely recommend getting your car serviced at the Lenexa Firestone. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Tl:dr - they literally do not know if they want your money or notThe service is great if it's something simple - oil changes and tire replacements- anything beyond that and they can't ever help you. I have a problem with a part that's discontinued and was told I would get a phone call with a quote on the service since I was told by an employee they would make the part for me but I'm still waiting on a call and I was never pointed in a direction to find a replacement for said part. They will also neglect to tell you any problems with your car directly unless the problem costs more than 200 dollars to fix - but they wont do anything to try and fix it? Do you want my money or not?

Bad customer service. The person who served me told me that I didn't need to fix an issue with my car and when I called other auto stores about the issue they told me it was something I needed to fix. Won't come back.

Never had an issue with these guys. Had tires changed on both cars, oil changes, etc. I took a vehicle in to them when it had a transmission issue. They could have fixed it, but the individual was responsible enough to inform me that he really hadn't encountered the situation with my vehicle, and felt better sending it to a transmission specialist. Will keep going here for my needs.

This is the first time I went to this firestone. I usually use the Lawrence Firestone, however, my wife's car stalled and had to be towed here. The bad-I did not find any of the employees in the front to be friendly or approachable. Every question I asked was met with short and pointed responses with no personality. The good- my car was quickly addressed in a correct manner and was ready within a few hours for a fair price. The building was clean. Because of the front of house workers, this would be 3 star but the service techs move it to 4.

Looks like new service team, would not perform warranty work nor share details where warranty states they did not have to honor the warranty. Curtis is definitely missed at this location.

They know how to service a car, but go in knowing what's wrong with your vehicle. They will try and tell you parts of your car need replaced even though they don't. I went in for a standard oil change and tire rotation, they tried telling me several of my back lights were burned out and my battery needed replacing.I called their bluff since both of those issues had been resolved in the past several months and they didn't bring it up again. Sure enough, as soon as I got my car back, the lights weren't burned out as I had been told.

I have never written a review in my life but I never had a place try to rip me off and have an employee lie to me like this. I went in to replace a single tire because it got a nail in it, the guy working told me the cheapest tire option he had was $200 and that the reason it was so expensive was because my car requires a unique tire size and there aren't a lot of options. Well I went on their website and found over 10 different options for my car and almost all of them were $150 and under with 3 under $100. I ended up going to the Walmart a couple miles away and got a new tire change for $95. I will never go to another firestone again, they tried to charge me double on a tire I can't imagine how much they screw people over on other repairs.

I just moved here from Wichita and was looking for a new Firestone dealer to balance my tires on my 2010 tundra. The first dealership I went to didn t get it right and I have a terrible shimmy at 50 mph. Apparently these tires are harder to balance on this truck because I have had problems over the last seven years. I took it to this dealership and the customer service was fantastic and the tires got balanced on the first try . I guess I found my new dealership ! Thank you
