As someone who is new to the motorcycle community I went into Cycle Gear with a limited amount of knowledge on what gear would be best for me and the sales team member I worked with was more than happy to help me try on several styles of helmets while sharing the perks and downsides to each so I could make an informed decision! Literally no push one way or the other just patient, friendly, and open to questions! Definitely plan to go back any time I need more gear and 10/10 suggest them

Great store with very friendly and professional employees! I'm a brand new who just wanted to take lessons and learn how to ride a motorcycle so I came to this store for the right safety gear. Of course, I didn t know anything, but they were happy to help me, as a result, I chose excellent protective gear at a good price and am ready to start my journey as a motorcyclist! Thanks a lot !

I've been in here twice in the last week to purchase several items for me and my son. Both times the staff was fantastic. They were extremely helpful in helping me understand what to look for. My lack of stars is due to horrible experiences from a pricing standpoint. In both instances, they overcharged me more than the sticker price. Extremely poor service. Wouldn't honor the ACTUAL price on the sticker and claimed it was an old price. These weren't even 'sale' prices. Sadly I won't be back.

Called ahead to confirm they had the jacket I wanted, in the size I wanted. Stuart had both a medium and a large waiting for me at the front counter. Tried them both on and decided I liked the fit of the medium, and purchased it. Even got a military discount. Wore the jacket riding the next few days and like it a lot.

Just bought a motorcycle after years away from it. I needed a new helmet. I drove all over and even tried to buy online, big mistake. Should have just went to Cycle Gear to begin with. Very helpful and a huge selection. Sells staff was great. I ll definitely shop here again.

Very helpful staff! I m a new rider and went in to go check out some beginner gear and helmets. Staff was super nice and understanding and helped me figure out what size I am in all of my gear and test out a few helmets. Ended up taking home a helmet and will definitely be coming back for the rest of my gear when I m ready

Always patient, always helpful. Everyone who works at this Cycle Gear is great. While I do wish the selection was better, we are in the Midwest (not California) so I get it. I ve had them order me in stuff quite a few times and it s always been a great experience. I d recommend the Lenexa Cycle Gear to anyone!

I went in with my new to riding girlfriend.We worked with Shane, who was very helpful, knowledgeable, and had an amazing attitude. We never felt pressured or talked down to. And his expertise was evident without being over technical above our understanding.

Got my first motorcycle helmet here today and the staff was so helpful and knowledgeable! They had me try on the different styles of helmets to be sure I liked the fit, helped me figure out what size I needed and were incredibly transparent about the price differences in the styles and brands. They also made sure to let me know the brands they would NOT recommend, which I appreciated!Went home with this beauty for $250 before tax and couldn't be happier!Update! Almost a year later and we came back to get a new helmet for hubby and had a wonderful experience again!!

Very friendly, great help and recommendations. They told me I was buying a size too big. I still wanted to try it so they made it clear I could bring it back and get the proper size.

I went to Cycle Gear to look at helmets. I was greeted immediately upon entering by a very knowledgeable person. Tried helmets on and ended up purchasing. The process was very easy. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for cycle gear. I will use for future motorcycle needs.

Great place. Went to buy a Cardo and they worked with me, told me the differences and pros and cons of each, then installed it in my helmet for me. Real nice and knowledgeable people there.

I m normally not the one to take time and make a review. But this store has absolutely earned a 5 star review! If you re looking for a friendly, smart, organized, and family oriented team to work with while you find the perfect gear for you then this is the place! James, Anna, and Jeremiah have always been quick to help and even quicker to guide you towards the right gear for you if you to unsure, and to bring you not only the safety but comfort of riding! Being a motorcycle rider makes you feel like You re apart of a big family and these three amazing people definitely keep that feeling going through the entire shopping experience!!

Walked in on Friday afternoon. Looking to find rare tires sizes and tubes for my old Bike a 1980 Honda XL100s. Store employee was happy to help. He got the tires/tubes ordered and free shipping. Everything showed up to my house the next week. I was very happy with customer service and extremely glad my old Bike is back on the road!
