What a great experience. We ve had an old noisy caravan for years that you could hear from half a mile away. We thought fixing it was going to cost an arm and a leg when our mechanic told us we were better off going to a specialty exhaust shop.Well I googled it and the closest shop was Charlie s. A place I d driven by thousands of times to and from work. We took it up there to drop it off and he couldn t have been nicer.An hour or two later he told us it was done and when we picked it up. I was skeptical on how good of an improvement he could have possibly made in the little time he had it, but we could not believe the difference. It sounded like new, and the kicker was it cost less than $70. Now I know not all jobs Charlie works on are going to cost less than $70 but I was very grateful mine was. 10/10 would recommend!

We've used Charlie as electricians to bend GRC for residential service conduit. Quick, easy, and him and his dog are good company.

Charlie was great! He explained what my car needed very quickly. He told me what a repair and what a new muffler would cost. He also said a new muffler was not needed. He fixed it quick, and for the price quoted. I really appreciated that he took the time to show me what he was talking about. Thanks Charlie! Barb Newman

I would recommend this business to everyone! Charlie and his team were amazing!I've been concerned for awhile about the exhaust pipe hanging down below the undercarriage of my Ford Escape. Due to personal reasons, I was unable to get it looked at until today. I had Ford look at it and they said they didn't do exhaust/muffler repair. At first I was frustrated but, it ended up being a blessing in disguise. I Googled affordable muffler repair and several places popped up. I searched through for the places with the best reviews and came across Charlie's. It just happened to be very close to where I live so, I drove down to the shop.Charlie was who I spoke with and when I explained the problem, he came out to the lot to inspect it personally. He was able to give me a rough estimate of cost for a new exhaust gasket and explained how he was going to repair the pipe. He was even able to squeeze me in for same day service. I asked if he could replace my passenger tail light as well that I just bought a light for. He didn't bat an eye and said he would. I told Charlie that I didn't live too far and would walk home while the repair was being done. This man was so kind and offered to give me a ride home and pick me up again when he was finished with the repair. Charlie had the car fixed within 2 hours.You really don't get this kind of quick, affordable, and personable service anymore. These Mom and Pop places are an endangered species. I am so thankful to Charlie and his adorable puppers George Brett for taking such good care of me and my car. Service: Exhaust

I have never had such a great experience!! I called Charlie's on Monday afternoon asking for a second opinion on the cost of exhaust issues. The dealership quoted me $2500 for it. He penciled me in for the next morning at 9am. I showed up, was helped right away. Once he took a good look at the issue, he asked me to come look and see. I got under my car and he pointed out the issue, said it would be $60 to weld and he'd do it right now. I will definitely be coming back to Charlie's if I have any other issues. Pure honest, practical and affordable! Charlie is a very kind person with over 40 years of experience that scheduled me within 2 hours. Arrived, he lifted my car and literally showed me exactly the problem with my exhaust. Grabbed an Uber to go back to work got a call within 5mins letting me know I dropped my wallet (with cash, cards, etc.) and that he had it. Needless to say I returned to get it. 1.5 hours later called saying car's done and closes at 5:30pm. After work stepped out side didn't see my car in parking lot totally forgot my car was even at the shop. A true blunder on my part, but Charlie kindly stayed till I arrived. I'd 100% recommend anybody to take their car here!

My experience at Charlie s was excellent. I came in for a tail pipe and muffler, and told Charlie that I was looking for nothing special and to save money. Charlie was very thorough and walked me through exactly what I needed, and it cost me significantly less than I was expecting. I dropped my truck off at 8 and got a call by 10 that it was ready. Very pleased and would definitely return.

If you need brake or muffler work you gotta come see Charlie!! He explains everything and tells you if you can wait or if it needs to be done right away. I had brake pads replaced and he showed me how bad mine were. He said I needed rotors too but said I can wait awhile. He calls before any work is done and calls when they finish up. He is such a nice guy. I m telling everyone I know, who needs brake & muffler work, about this place. Go see Charlie and his super cute dog George.

Found this place on Google to have an exhaust system installed on my truck that I had bought online. Charlie did an outstanding job! It looks and sounds great. He's a very honest person from my experience and would recommend him to anyone. If the shop doesn't answer when you call just leave a message and he will call you back...he's probably doing great work on a customer's vehicle.

I went into Charlie s because Firestone claimed I had a loose exhaust that required welding, and they wanted my first born to fix it. After calling around, I received not one, but two recommendations from local shops who told me to see Charlie for my exhaust issue. As soon as I arrived, he immediately began working on my car. Within minutes, he informed me that my exhaust system was perfectly fine, but after further investigation he found a loose bolt on the shock mount that needed tightening. He cranked it a few times (I watched the entire process), and then he took me on a test drive to ensure the clanking had been resolved...it had! Charlie didn t charge me a dime for his time. He could have overcharged me like many shops do, but he didn t. Not only that, he let me pet his dog Georgie on the way out. I was back to work within an hour. This was the best experience I ve had at any automotive repair establishment and I will be going back. Thanks Charlie and staff for your honest work.

Charlie is a great guy, provides honest service and helpful. I brought in my kids civic that was metal on metal brakes. I wasn't sure where rear brakes were at but he let me know I had more time on them. While he doesn't sell tires he did let me know I would need 3 (not 4) as they were wearing. Very helpful to fix exactly what I needed, told me any safety issues and got me back on the road. Since I could not drive the car we dropped it off on mon for Wed appt. He had a no show and squeezed me in a day early. Pricing was very reasonable and competitive for the work done. Nice guy that does good honest work. I will return for future needs.

Charlie is a wonderful man, very friendly and honest!I dropped my car off at 8:00 AM and he called me at 10:30 that it was finished!He did an excellent job and he was extremely reasonable! I 100% recommend Charlie's Brake & Muffler for your muffler needs!Added plus...he's a dog lover too.Thank you Charlie for being a great, talented guy and for making my car purr again.

We have been taking our cars to Charlie since the early 90s. I can't count the number of cars we've sent his way. I highly recommend! Charlie works with you on your car repairs - telling you what needs to be repaired, what can wait, and what you can live with. He's always been honest and forthcoming with us which, in my opinion, is key. He's also fairly priced. The fact that it sometimes takes a week or so to get scheduled should tell you something!

Charlie's Brake and Muffler is highly recommended. I took my car in because the exhaust had come apart at the flange. Charlie did a great job of communicating what the issue was and how much it would be to have fixed. He was able to have the work done the same day and let me know when it was ready to pick up. The work looks very well done. I will definitely go back for any brake or muffler needs.

Great experience. Brought my vehicle in at 8am and they had it done by noon. Fair pricing and did the minimum amount of work to properly fix my muffler instead of doing more than what is needed to extrapolate $$$ from me like a dealership would. Charlie went above any beyond. I screwed up the time of our appointment and as I was about to pull off I nearly backed into him. He stopped me and said that he had a little time in the afternoon but it might not get it finished that day. My wife and I didn't need it until the next day so we left it with him. Not only did he have it done that day, he also fixed a rattling sound from the heat shield that had been bugging us for years.Service: Brakes

Charlie is a no crap, honest man. Myself and my family have used him for years. If he tells you something is wrong with your car it is. While his work may not be the least expensive he is reasonably priced and the work is of the highest quality. He can fix any car and I trust him more than any other mechanic. I always take my vehicles to him and will continue to do so as long as I live near him.

Brought my car in because my exhaust pipe had rusted and broke at a flange. Took my car to Midas before here and they quoted me almost $800. Charlie s fixed it for a fraction of that AND within about an hour. Will always come back to Charlie s. One of the best shops in town.

Charlie is the Patron Saint of exhaust systems. He made our Nascar-rowdy pickup purr like a kitten. Very clean shop with a comfortable yard chair and a shade tree. I could've stayed all day. Recommended!

They are the most wonderful people you will ever meet! They work with you for the fastest and most cost effective way to get you truck up and running again. I went just to get my tail pipe reattached to the muffler and they made sure everything was safe. Now my truck runs quieter than ever! Thank you all so much for everything!

Charlie ( and George ) have GREAT customer service! Charlie is what they call a mechanics mechanic. I have been going to Charlie's for over five yrs now. I have had three different cars and he has always taken very good car of me! Always walks me through the issue and if i dont ubderstand he will put the car in the lift and personally show me the issue.

Fixed my flex pipe in a day. Was planning on doing it myself so I already had the part. I wasn't able to do it myself without a lift, torch, drill, etc. He put it on and it sounds super quiet again. No leaks, I'm happy!

No matter the car or the problem, the Charlies have always fixed it.They have always spoken to me like a person, not a 'little lady' just because I don't know cars. I will always hobble my cars back.

Great guys here , however when I visited last week I rolled my ankle bad when exiting the bay to the outside . Threshold needs repaired asap ! Still in pain a week later . Good folks , just fix your floor

Tried to get a ballpark quote over the phone, told me he couldn't without looking at it. I just wanted to know the price of the MUFLER itself, still wouldn't help me out. Lost business because of it, i like to get a general pricing to compare with other shops, weirdest business practice ever.

Great shop. Did repair of muffler on a 2012 Honda. Made sure muffler repair woild last.
