Traveling through Lawrence and knew my car was beyond due for service and stopped here right when they opened on a Sunday morning. Quick, efficient, and very thorough process. Benson changed my oil, filter, and air filter plus rotated my tires all in 35 minutes. Confirmed with me every part of the process before hand so I knew exactly what was happening. Very reasonable price. Highly recommend and will do business here again when I find myself back in Lawrence.

The most incompetent bunch of people. Took my truck in for an oil change, get back home and my truck is leaking oil everywhere. I got under my truck and the filter was barely hanging on. I popped my hood and they had oil everywhere. Go back to Valvoline and the manager acted like it was no big deal. K s Tire is #1 in Lawrence for all your vehicle servicing needs.

Quick and easy. Drove right in and you wait in your car while it's being serviced. Kind of pricey so go on line for a coupon. They didn't reset the oil change message. Guess I'll read the manual.

Tldr: Go at your own risk, I won t be coming back.Normally I change my own oil, been doing it for years. I use Valvoline oil, big fan, and was excited to give this place a go. So much so that I was one of the first customers on the first day they were open. Had a lovely experience, no issues. Came back for the next change and had issues. Immediately after leaving the shop my warning codes came on and the vehicle started bogging. Pulled the code at home to show an issue with an O2 sensor. Got underneath to check and sure enough, somebody was careless with a wrench and busted the harness loose on one of my upstream sensors. Bought a new one ($120), solved that issue. Still had a MAF code, turns out they put my air filter back in the box backwards and didn t close it completely. Solved that problem. I m not gonna trust an oil change place to fix engine codes so I just did it myself. Wasn t going to write a review until yesterday. I went to change the oil myself again and found my drain plug stripped out, nearly beyond use. Bought a new one that thankfully still tightens in the pan though we ll see how long until I need to replace that at my own expense. I won t be coming back, they ve lost my trust. Two stars since it s not beyond use but I definitely advise caution coming here.

Poor service. They roated my tires and did an oil change. When I got onto K-10 my steering wheel was shaky and rough feeling. I went back to Valvoline and they said it was my alignment and that they did balance my tires when they put my tires back on. I went to K's tires in Lawrence and they did an alignment but my steering wheel was still shaky when driving my car home. So I called Valvoline to tell them my car steering was still shaky and rough even after an alignment. The MANAGER did not care about my problem with my tires or their rotation that they did and said "oh we don't balance tires when we rotate them. Iam now having to go back to K tires to have them balance my tires because VALVOLINE EMPLOYEES AND MANAGEMENT deliver poor service.

Only rated one star as there is nothing lower. If you value your vehicle, DO NOT use the location in Lawrence. Most incompetent staff anywhere. They are NOT mechanics. Not even sure about their oil change abilities either at this point

I love this place... Saving money! If you need transmission fluid flush, radiator flush or fuel service, you will save 20% with a coupon if you get an oil change... Which the oil change is cheaper than Walmart too!!!

I was told my coolant was leaking & asked if I noticed anything about my vehicle overheating . Prior to this my coolant has not been leaking at all

I expect to have to wait to get an oil change but that was ridiculous. I showed up on a Friday a little before noon to try to get an oil change. There were 3 vehicles in the bays when I arrived with 3 vehicles waiting to get in. Shortly after I pulled up, someone came out to ask if all I was getting was an oil change and told me it would be about 30 to 45 min then let me know that bay 2 would be ready first so I moved over behind that vehicle. After about 15 min one of the vehicles being worked on finished and another car pulled in. Meanwhile they cam out to have me back up because they were gonna have the vehicle in front of me switch with the vehicle waiting in the first bay. Then the vehicle that was in bay 1 finished and the next vehicle moved in. I sat there for about 15 more min then they needed me to move again to let the vehicle in front of me back up so they could move over to bay 1. At this point I had been there for about 45 min and they had finished working on 2 vehicles with no sign of getting me into a bay anytime soon. They made me move 3 different times in that 45 min span so I decided to just leave. On top of all that I noticed that they had a bunch of LGBTQ flags in the work area which is absolute garbage. I don't care what you identify as as long as you don't throw it in my face and tell me I have to be okay with it. Shame on you Valvoline for creating an environment where people are being shamed for being straight.

Had a great experience at this location. All staff were friendly and my transaction was quick. The employee named Colette really stood out for how friendly and outgoing they were. Colette, did a great job of explaining my options and not making me feel pressured. Colette, made it feel like I was around people I know. Place is a joke!!! 3 1/2 hrs for oil change and fuel filters. Called hours before I showed up to make sure they had all my filters and they said they did. Get there and they DID NOT have one of my fuel filters. Had to call auto part store myself and get one delivered there. Then they broke something changing my filter. For all my time wasted there they were so kind and gave me a WHOPPING $30 discount. Didn t even cover the quarter of my work wages that I missed.Service: Oil change

DONT COME HERE. Took my Infiniti g37 in for a transfer case and front/rear diff oil change and told the girl that The front diff needed a special tool. Didnt listen, told me it was stripped... lie. A bunch of kids that don't know anything about cars. Never again... the other boy just smiled and shrugged it off. No clue how expensive these mistakes are. Just had knee surgery and do this stuff myself and have had the car 10 years so I know how it has been kept. DONT COME HERE.

The Valvoline on Iowa is my favorite place in town to have my oil changed. It's always quick, the staff is very friendly, and they usually send 10-20% off coupons if you go there. My favorite thing about this location is that there are always several girls working there in the shop, so as a girl myself it makes it all feel much more comfortable and empowering; I like supporting women in jobs where they are typically the minority.Service: Oil change

Very helpful staff. Did not try to pressure me into buying add-ons like transmission and radiator flushes. Quick service, in and out in less than 30 minutes. Will be going back for future oil changes.

Had a terrible radiator line leak just after a day I got their oil change service. My car suddenly stopped due to overheating and eventually found out that it was the radiator. You will never know something won't happen to your car after you get their service. Unprofessional and unreliable service. Do not go there.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

3 lanes to pull up to. Person will come out to guide you into the appropriate door. Guided in, provided mileage, they checked my lights and other various car controls. Changed oil and offered other options that my car may need or could use. I waited 25 mins because all the bay doors were full BUT they got me out in 15 mins (WOW THAT IS QUICK). I did not feel pressured to buy any additional services and everyone was extremely friendly.

I got my oil changed here in September had no issues. Went back there again a couple months later for another oil change and they said they can t change the oil again because of a stripped drain plug. They won t take any responsibility for stripping the drain plug out.
