After I just parked in front of Midas store in Lawrence, about to ask for check my low tire pressure light. Midas employee crashed into my car while backing up another vehicle. Midas refused to pay for the damage. Can not image what Midas will do to customers cars behind the scenes after they just shamelessly deny responsibility for their mistakes under the sun.

I have not had a great experience at this location. Although the work they have done on my car has been satisfactory, I've experienced rude behavior at the front desk multiple times, which has made it more difficult than necessary to do business with them.When I brought my car in the last time around, they did not listen very closely to my concerns, and so as I left I had to remind them of all the issues I was concerned about: my ABS light and my check engine light. The person I talked to tried to tell me these were different, to which I had to respond that I was aware they were different, but that both had come on. The time before this, I had heard strange noises from my car, which I recorded to play for them inside. When I played the recording, the man I talked to told me it was just my engine noise (it was not, my radiator hose had collapsed), and when I told him it sounded worse when I turned my wheel, he didn't believe me until he drove the car himself and heard the same problem. These two experiences made me feel as if my experience as a customer and the regular driver of my own car were not important to them.Additionally, I had already paid over the phone, but when I went to pick up my keys and car, it took almost 30 minutes. The man at the desk had asked me to wait a few minutes, but then responded to another customer's question first, which took him a long time to resolve, before he could complete the quick task of handing me my paperwork and my key (during which he said he wished I had talked over him when I arrived, so that we could have done it faster).

We have been customers of Midas for more than six years and have always received excellent service for our vehicles - currently a Volvo C70 and BMW SUV. The manager Ann and lead mechanic Bill have our trust and loyalty for years to come. You will always receive an honest recommendation for repairs needed and a fair price for their excellent service. I cannot rate this particular Midas location high enough or say enough good things about their customer care. Repairs are never fun, but somehow I always leave there with a smile.

Everything about Midas is great, I appreciate how they don't try to take advantage of people. He explained and showed me everything that was wrong with my car before fixing it. I'll be forever grateful for their time and work.

Went in for a quick service oil change. The price was fantastic for a synthetic blend oil change I paid 36.07 in total. It's worth setting the appointment with them as nowhere else in town is even remotely close to the price I paid here.

My appointment was at ! PM for an oil change I was out by 1:35. Very kind to answer all my questions. I did get down to Kasold and 15th. Turned my car off and when I got back in it made a light clicking sound all the way home even when I put it in park. I'm just hoping it's nothing serious as I also had to get new tires today. I seriously doubt this had anything to do with the oil change and the guys were great. I plan on going back to Midas in the spring to get my brake fluid drained. If my car still runs by then.

Zach was so helpful with our daughter s car. We couldn t be there to help her out but Zach treated her like she was his daughter. He explained everything to her and got her car going again. Thanks for taking care of her car.

Customer service is fast and kind. However, I've walked away the last two times with incorrect diagnoses. Specifically this last time. I had a $150 charge for wiring diagnostics and they falsely diagnosed me.

Ann was incredibly kind and flexible when I needed an oil change and windshield wipers replaced right before they closed. She never made me feel like an imposition, she didn't try to upsell me, but did alert me to things I should consider getting repaired before winter. I was blown away by her service and will be back in a heartbeat the next time I need car help.

Everyone that we have dealt with at this center has been amazing. Brayden and Ann (and all of the service techs) have gone so far above and beyond to ensure both of our primary vehicles were repaired in a timely manner and without overcharging us. They are always so good to be. From my break replacement in my Jeep Grand Cherokee to letting me know there was nothing wrong with my Hondra CR-V and there was no charge for today. Itrust the people in the shop and the front desk team is incredibly kind and helpful. This is the only place I will take all of my vehicles. The brakes on my truck went out so I called Midas. I spoke with Braden Engel and he answered all my questions and treated me with respect. He was very helpful and professional.He got me in right away and was prompt with the diagnosis of the issues. I picked up my truck morning. I would highly recommend Midas as a legit shop that does quality work.

Went here for the first time in a few years to check muffler noise and check engine light. They checked everything out and came back with a very detailed summary. I really liked how everything was explained. The owner was great and I enjoyed talking with them. I already used Midas of Lawrence for my regular oil changes and loved the service. I had a flat tire and tried another business in town based on a recommendation. The other business didn't accept appointments and didn't have any time when I went in. I went to Midas next and they immediately took my car back, checked the tire, made the repair, and sent me on my way. They are always reliable and fast!Services: Tires, Oil change

Went here to get an oil change and they told me my rack and pinion was leaking, and that it ll be 2,000 and gave me no details at all. Went to Meineke and they did a full digital inspection and the rack and pinion wasn t even the issue. Don t just take their word for it, always get a second opinion especially if you re a college student on a tight budget!!

I m a college student that just got ripped off for 600+ dollars for something they couldn t even fix but yet charged me that much. So if you are a college student or any student that is needing to get their car fixed go somewhere else that is reliable and is able to help and get you what you need!

I have always been a fan of local shops, shade tree mechanics good ol boys. I noticed a lot of times I wouldn t get my vehicle back for 2 weeks to a month. Gave Midas a shot maybe 6 years ago and they have been my go to ever since. Most of the time I get my truck back same day. Dropped it off today because I got tboned. Pick up day should be tomorrow.
