After receiving high recommendations for K I decided to bring my car there for a basic checkup (she s getting old and rickety).The staff at K are so friendly and welcoming. They were quick to getting to my vehicle and honest about what they thought of it. Pricing was more affordable than other places I ve been. I wish I knew about K sooner!

I ve taken my cars to K s for quite a while now. Jimmy always shoots you straight and won t rip you off. The work is done timely and for a fair price. It s not easy to find that combination these days! Highly recommend!

Wonderful family owned and operated business! Always busy since they are the best shop around. If you do have to wait, they are worth it! They are honest, hardworking, and get it done at a fair price. I recommend them to everyone.

This place is amazing. Very honest. Great customer service. I went to get new tires, a rotation, and balanced for a great price. Cheaper than what is around and you even get great service. I booked an appointment early in the morning (they recommend). It took about an hour (totally reasonable) and they were busy, but I can see why. While waiting I observed what seemed like regulars coming in for quick tire services, so it seems like they build a lot of great customer relationships by providing consistent quality work. Definitely will be coming back and recommending.Service: Tires

Best auto service in town. I have been coming here since I purchased my Honda, Jimmy is honest and efficient, plus they stand behind their work. Their prices are not outrageous compared to some other places in Lawrence. I would highly recommend K's to anyone with automobile issues.

Jimmy and Angela were awesome to deal with!Very honest and took care of me in a flash. I'd prefer my car to not break down anytime soon, but if it does, I'm coming back to K's.6 stars.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Jimmy has always been reliable and affordable. Definitely one of the best places to get your car fixed. The prices are great and the work is done quickly.

My parents had used K s when they were a much smaller shop and had great experiences, so naturally they recommended I go there when I started having car troubles. My car was at their shop for over a week to do a repair on my wheels, when it came time to pick up my car it wouldn t start so had to jump it to get it home. After that I had issues with my battery nonstop, took it back to K s where they supposedly tested everything and said there was nothing wrong. Cut to me getting a new battery myself and still having issues taking it to O Reily and them easily diagnosing the alternator being the problem took it back to K s where again they said no issues. Well, car completely died, brought it back to K s where it was with them for almost a week to get the alternator replaced and low and behold my car was working again. It cost more than they quoted AND they informed me that I needed to get another repair done but it could wait . That repair is something that should have been done while the alternator was being replaced since it requires most of what they had to take out of my car to replace the alternator to be removed to do the fix.Never going back to them. They nickel and dimed me, forced me to be without a car for way longer than necessary had they just done all the necessary repairs at the same time instead of pulling the usual we did this but you ll need to come back for this , and weren t honest about the remaining repair making it out to be not a big deal when it s something that could ultimately put my car out of commission if not taken care of quickly.

Jimmy has always treated our company well. We have taken our vehicles to him for one thing or another, and our vehicle was fixed with no issues and reasonably priced. Just got a set of Hankook tires for our 2016 Silverado. Have not had Hankooks before. I'm impressed with them! They are very smooth riding. Thank you for the suggestion for them.

Great work, guys. The only thing is we were waiting to be attending. A guy came, and immediately, the staff ignored us and took care of him. No apologies, no explanation. We waited 40 minutes.The last time I checked, there were no kings in Kansas.

Been going to k's tires since 2009 I still own and operate the vehicles that I owned in 2009 and they all run so well because I trust Jimmy and the people he works with to take care of my vehicles and my vehicles take such good care of me because of them Today, a young Tech named Toby helped me out, and he did such a great job. Got me in and out, everything's perfect, thanks.

After Firestone told me I needed 4 new tires, these guys worked super hard to fix my current tire. Saved me money and I felt well taken care of. Great service, good and honest people.

These guys have been very helpful and quality of service has been phenomenal. Prices have been awesome on oil changes and just put on Falken tires on my challenger and an alignment for a Super price. All the guys are great and don't treat me like I know nothing. I can even trust them with the truth when my daughter calls in them with me or he dad not there... 10 if i could!!Thanks guys.

These guys are great. They had told me that it would be about two and a half hours before they could get to me, but they had me on the road in about an hour! This was on the semi trailer. They had the blown tire off and the new one on in no time. Good replacement tire at a pretty good price. The owner even came out to help get me outta there. Super friendly definitely recommend them. They have done tires before us in the past but this was my first experience with them!

K s has been very consistent and great with the work they ve done for me. Jimmy is a great guy and has awesome people working for him. Whenever i need work done i come to them.

Needed some suspension work (shocks, struts, alignment, and tires) they were exceptionally friendly, fast, and affordable. It can be nerve wrecking needing mechanical work, but I've always had good experiences here. Thanks!

Great price on tires. But they scratched the hell out of my wheels both on the edge and around the lug nuts.as they were the only good thing on my truck so I m pretty upset and I will no longer be going to Kay s. And I wouldn t recommend them if you have nice wheels. As I ve had this happen to friends of mine as well.

This is a great place to get an alignment done. I was recommended here by a mechanic at my normal place. The alignment was just under $100 and was done within 2 hours of my appointment time. The service was great and the ladies at the front were polite.

"I've been there twice, they do a great job and they are very busy because of it...so it may be best to leave your car verses waiting for the work to be completed."- Is anyone else finding that companies are somehow leaving posts on your behave? I definitely didn't leave that post above! I personally NEVER leave my car.

This place is going downhill fast! Don't take your car here at all things will get broken on your car and it will not be safe to drive!

Yesterday was the second time I've used this shop since moving to Lawrence. I'm completely convinced they are the best shop I've ever used!!! Do not go anywhere else but here!!! You will not be disappointed

Mechanic charged $700 for spark plug change. Gave the car back with a check engine light. Refused to admit the fault and said take it to lexus. I came home and searched for the code. Turns out the mechanic pulled one of the wires of cam shaft position sensor. They refused to accept their fault. I did business with them couple of times and I was happy with their service, but this time have a very disappointing experience. I encourage people not to take their cars for engine/transmission tuneups. They are good for changing tyres and thats it.

Took my daughter's new car she just bought to K's tires bright and early this morning without any appointments. I needed a 3rd opinion on some BS another shop tried to convince myself and her about. I was able to speak to my favorite mechanic, take pictures of the Under carriage, and ask all my questions while pointing to parts so that there's no mis communication. Jimmy also printed out a read out of the codes that kept getting cleared by other shop. None of this cost me a dime and Jimmy was friendly as always and remembered who I was. It's hard to find personalized mechanics like him and his team. Thanks Jimmy and favorite mechanic with the pony tail.
