This repair service company is true to their word. Showed app on time, did it in a timely fashion in the price was very reasonable. 5 stars, thank you guys appreciate all the help with my truck.

Couldn t find a company to service our large trucks in the Lawrence area and found Jinks. They have been nothing but help since we have used them and plan to add more of our fleet to there services. The mechanics that have came to site to help have been very easy to work with and make it a pleasant experience. Called at 6pm for mobile service as truck was not starting due to not detecting neutral position and voltage level at 10v. There were no other options since this was in the evening and reading the reviews I thought Jinks would be good, boy was I wrong! Owner said $400 to come out and that includes first two hours of labor and every hour after is $100/hr. About an hour and half in I called the owner who said mechanic is about 15/20 min away Mechanic shows up at 7:50pm, says we need a new starter after about 20 minutes of diagnosing, he said they have one in town and he can go and grab it (close to $600 for the part), I agreed since no other option and everywhere else is closed. Mechanic leaves and comes back two hours later, replaces the starter and gets the truck run after working on it for 1.5 hours and time is 11:45PM. In summary we were charged about $1400 for a starter replacement and come to find out that was it even the issue, we broke down next morning and the culprit was the alternator and the shop the replaced it could not believe that a mechanic could not see the alternator fan very loose.When I asked the mobile mechanic why we were charged 6 hours of labor when he was there for 4 hours including the time he went two hours to grab a part, he stated the time starts when he we make the call, i then asked how long it took him to leave his home and get to me, which he said 1 hour (he showed up 1 hour and 50 minutes from the call). I question the reviews on this company and would not recommend!

Jinks to the rescue!! I had an alternator on my Freightliner go bad on I-70. Jinks sent Jon right to me at the service plaza and he took the alternator off, did a parts run and discovered it wasn t even the right one for my truck ..so he brought the correct alternator, ran a missing wire to my battery and got me fixed up in no time. Mike the owner was very patient and helpful and made the whole process as painless as possible to get my 18 wheels rolling again. Thanks Jon and Mike!!! Great job and I will highly recommend Jinks to my fellow drivers!!

I had my truck pulled into the Lawrence service area and had a problem with a coolant leak. Called Jinks up and a gentleman was at my truck in less then an hour and it took him an hour to fix it and I was back underway. Couldn t have asked for a better price, experience, or customer service both on the phone and in person. Thanks guys-Lombard Trucking

We called Jinks when we couldn't get any other mobile repair service to help with our trailer brakes being locked up. They were available and got to the site when they said they would and took no time to diagnose the problem to get our drive back on the road. Their repair price was reasonable as well. My truck/ driver had some issues while laying over at a hotel. Truck would not turn over so I had to google mobile diesel mechanics and called 3 I found on google. Mike at Jinks just stood out over the rest with how professional and polite he was from the very second he picked up. The others sounded irritated and rushed. He gave me a realistic time frame on when they would arrive. Got the truck up and running and it died 5 min down the street due to lack of diesel this time....called Mike back and asked if he can help out once again. He didn t charge me and I only had to pay for the fuel. My driver also told me he would not accept a tip. Great customer service and an honest company. Highly recommend!Service: Battery

When calling for services they don't give you the straight up on their charges. Prices were extremely outrageous. Don't tell you any distance from your location. Got charged for more time then they were on the job. If they would have given me the straight facts I wouldn't have used they. Felt like I was ripped off. The mechanic was good but still way over priced for a hour and a half job. If you use them make sure you bring lube with for the screwing you will get. Lack of quality business ethics. Could have got the job done for half the price at peterbilt which has a higher labor rate. Will never use them again and will spread the word everywhere.

We used this company coming through Kansas a few months back. We had a truck losing power and needed help. Yes we called this company and they came out to help us. Wrost mistake ever, please watch their hourly rate people. Please watch what they do people and most of all 80% of there reviews are FAKE. Company has only been in business 2 years and has tripled others that has been established for decades. Take your truck someplace else before calling this company unless you want to pay 3 times what the value. They didn't even fix the problem but it was fixed for the monetary moment to get us 20 down the road 1300 to this company and 600 to kenworth problem fixed. POS Company with knowledge or professional experience with semi trucks. We hope that this will help someone in the future to be aware!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I was recommended JMR from another business that we know. Since we have started doing business with him we've never looked back! Always timely within reason. Flexible with schedules and is ALWAYS willing to help in anyway he can. He has always provided us with quote's for repairs and they are almost always spot on with a few exceptions here and there, but again within reason. Well, it s 2am pouring rain, I blew 2 out of the 4 of my airbags on my 2015 Pete, Gave Jinks a call, I had to deliver by 6am, Mike went right to work, called Pete got me the best deal he could on the airbags, went and picked them up, drove out replaced them without me even having to unhook from my trailer. This guy means business, I don t typically write reviews but, he definitely is worth the money he saved butt!

I had to drop my load in six hours (6:00am) and it was midnight. I called Michaels Jinx, and they came out to me fast! One hour later, truck was fixed, and issue resolved. By far the fastest, honest, and reasonable!!! All others I called either did not answer, or couldn t fix my truck until hours later. I am glad I called Micheal Jinx!

I had a intake temp sensor that got stripped out upon removing it at 12 in the morning and they came within 30min and was able to fix it and get me goin again.

Great service fast and friendly even followed me 10 miles and made sure everything was still tight and everything was good
