Love the service here. When they change my oil they also vacuum my car and send it through the car wash. The people are always nice and ready to answer any questions I have.

My 21 year old truck had an open recall bulletin. The super friendly folks at McCarthy Nissan of Lawrence preordered the part in question and had me scheduled for a same day service. McCarthy Nissan gave me an accurate assessment of what was wrong with my car. They fixed the issues quickly, and the fees were fair.It s been a couple months since the service, and I waited before leaving a review in order to assure everything was fixed correctly. They fixed everything perfectly and I ve had no issues since! They are also friendly and answered all my questions.Paul was my contact and service person. I was in Lawrence Ks for a softball tournament four hours from home and started having car trouble Friday night. I came to the dealership first thing Saturday morning and the staff were so helpful. Turns out I needed a new transmission. They helped me by taking me to get a rental so that I was able to get back home while they fixed my vehicle. Got sold to another company. My new full synthetic oil is a chocolate color, they didn't top off the washer fluid, they didn't reset the oil change clock in the car. Basically I'm wondering if they actually did anything for the 30k service I purchased other than patch a couple of leaky tires. I'll head to other places for service, which is a shame because McCarthy seemed to have a great, professional operation.

Paul was very efficient & professional. A very friendly man. He took care of all the recalls & regular service that was needed on my Nissan in a very timely way. The lady that took my call for the appointment was very nice & friendly. She answered all my questions that I had. I had made an online appointment. When I arrived I was told the service department had not received the online appointment. This was due to technical difficulties. During a cross country road trip, we noticed a strange sound from our vehicle. We called a number of Nissan dealerships on our route for an emergency diagnostic test and repair - McCarthy Nissan was able to get us in on extremely short notice. They diagnosed the problem and rush ordered parts (despite supply chain difficulties) to get us back on the road as soon as possible. We found them to be communicative and friendly and they were able to resolve all our issues quickly. We really appreciate McCarthy Nissan!

Service department is great! Very professional and friendly, it s a little pricy but they do good work. But the sales team not so much, came to ask about possibly selling my car, and the person at the main desk was annoyed I interrupted his phone game, kept coming across as being ready to be confrontational I think it was due to a fair offer he made on my car, and seemed like he was expecting me to be upset by the number?Then he saw my transmission is out and stated it s not worth anything he won t take this car, which is completely understandable. But as he said this his harsh tone suggested he was getting ready for another argument? I told him okay that s fine have a good day and left Not sure if he was having a bad day? Or perhaps other rude customers essentially trained him to always be on the defensive . If that s the case then I totally get it customers suck. Informed my employer of a recall and update. Made it super convenient to get in to correct the issue. And I had even missed scheduled day for appointment yet they worked me in and are very understanding. Definitely going to be bringing our fleet vehicles here for now on for service!

Staff was very friendly. I will say that my car was returned to me with a piece on top of the windshield completely bent and raised up at a 90 degree angle. I walked back in and a service member came out, tried to put it back in place unsuccessfully. He contacted a manager who came out, also unsuccessful at fixing. Manager taped it down with what appeared to be painters tape, said that their car wash must have lifted the piece up. Said they have ordered a replacement and will call me when it arrives to fix it. Tape came off on the drive home. Awaiting call back for them to fix the piece, hopefully of which will be 100% free as the car was not brought in the way it was returned to me. I will update my stars once the car is fixed. Service was efficient and friendly however :)Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

I was informed by another dealership that I had an oil leak in my engine and I would need to replace the timing cover gasket. They informed me that it would cost around $2298.06 to replace it. I called McCarthy Nissan of Lawrence to see if I could bring my car in for the fix. I was looking for a second opinion to ensure that was what was really causing the leak. After McCarthy Nissan checked my vehicle they determined that nothing was wrong with my Timing Cover Gasket and it wasn t causing the leak. It was my front crankshaft oil seal that was causing the leak and needed to be replaced and not my timing cover gasket. They also informed me that I would need to get a Brake fluid exchange, Replace brakes, Serpentine belt replacement, Timing/Driver belt replacement, and Oil/Filter change due to the oil that was leaking in the engine. Which would only cost around $570.00 before taxes. This was a big relief to hear. I was so glad that I took my car to McCarthy Nissan of Lawrence for a second opinion. I m really grateful that they didn t try to lie to me or charge me for a repair that wasn t needed. They were honest and only repaired/replaced what needed to be repaired/replaced on my car.

I had a fantastic customer service experience with McCarthy Nissan of Lawrence. They were very responsive and communicated the issues with my truck to me in a way that I could easily understand. I was provided with options that saved me time and money, as well as peace of mind that my Frontier was well maintained. I was especially impressed with the "I-service" that allowed the shop to send me video of the issues they found. McCarthy Nissan of Lawrence established a great deal of trust with me, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I had some warranty work that needed to be done. Parts were ordered in April of 2021 and they didn t get around to doing the work until July 23 2021. So I dropped off my vehicle for the warranty work to be done. I then get a call later saying that the part was damaged, and that they would have to order another part. Basically they had the parts for at least a couple months, never calling me. I called a couple of times and was told the parts hadn t come in yet. They are also refusing to do all of the warranty work, saying they are only going to do part of it. As of now I m waiting for the call, that the parts for a second time have arrived.

I've had several trips to Briggs Nissan over the years and they've always treated me fairly. Al in the service department has been incredibly helpful and has always tried to get me the best pricing. I haven't had a single issue with any of the work they've done. Great people, super helpful, always fairly priced. I can't say enough about the service department over there.

I went in and had a key fob programmed that I had ordered and purchased there at your business. It was a great experience all around. Clean work area, I was told it would take an hour and it took 30-45 minutes and they rinsed off my car!! I ll be back for sure.

Quality of vacuuming was pretty low. We were told we could bring it back but the vacuum guy leaves at 5p .... We work until 5p... and apparently they can t have someone else vacuum, it s GOTTA BE THE VACCUUM GUY !! UPDATE: Had a tire with a nail, ordered 2 new tires from McCarthy Lawrence on Sunday and they told us they would take 2-3 days to arrive, so they had us schedule an appointment for that coming Thursday to have the new tires put on. The 9:30a Thursday appt came and we took off work so that we could get the car there. Got to McCarthy Lawrence and they seemed baffled as to why we were there. And we told them that we had an appt to put our new tires on our vehicle. It was only THEN that they informed us that the tires never arrived and were actually never ordered. Never called us ahead of time to let us know, waited until we showed up to the actual appt that we had taken off work for. No compensation or coupons or anything, just a we re sorry. Long story short, we did eventually get our 2 new tires on but had to take work off again to make the second appt as well. If you do choose to have a service done here and there is an issue or error on their end, don t expect any more compensation than verbal flattery.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto interior vacuuming, Oil change

I made an appt to get my oil changed and a wheel alignment. When I got there I told the service guy that I was there for an oil change and alignment. I also commented that I wanted front windshield wipers and he said ok and sent me inside to wait.My appt was for 10:30. I waited for 2 hours for the car to be fixed and when they told me it was ready they didn t do the alignment. They said we thought you wanted us to check alignment. I said no I asked for an oil change and an alignment. I waited almost another hour for the alignment to be done. I asked for a discount for having to wait so long and they made an excuse about the oil plug seizing up and it took longer. No discount or apology for their mistakeI won t be using McCarthy Nissan in the future. If my husband had brought my car in this would never have happened. I also got estimates for brakes and. Cv axle and boot. Their prices are outrageous and I feel that I was taken advantage of this because I am a woman. I ve been doing business with Briggs since 2011. I had my car looked at by another repair shop and he said the factory didn t have the part you said I needed. And it has a lifetime guarantee that I was not told about by McCarthy. Service was done in a timely manner. All personnel were courteous and friendly. Needed to leave car for 30,000 mile maintenance. I didn t have a ride so they got me a Lift pickup.
