Downtown Muffler is fantastic. They were able to fix my car while I waited . Great service. I thought it would be a week to get my car fixed and I had same day service.

You're not going to beat the price you're not going to beat their kindness and professionalism they shoot you straight and they do a great job from start to finish and they do more than just mufflers

Clamp rusted out on exhaust pipe. Much cheaper than other mechanic shops because they specialize in welding. It was also a lot faster because other shops gave a week and they were done in ten minutes after arrival. Super kind and fair Son and Pop shop.

Downtown Muffler is awesome. They solve your problems quickly and for a reasonable price. I drove over there without an appointment. They provided an estimate. I agreed to the estimate with a 'not to exceed' limit. They got my car in and out immediately and the cost was about the same as the estimate. Great job!

The guys at Downtown Muffler Shop are great!! They are so nice and quick with their work. They get you right in and perform some great work. Every time we've had contact with them they are nothing but nice. We know vehicle trouble is no fun but when you are working with pleasant people it takes some of the stress off of the situation.

Told them what I wanted they quoted me $200 went to pick it up only did half of what I wanted. $200 for three feet of pipe a bend and some hangers I could have done in my driveway for less...lesson learned....stay away

The business model for many car shops of any kind is to take advantage of folks caught between a rock and a hard place. This place was no different. I was charged $400 to tack weld a new bracket between my catalytic converter and muffler. A one-hour job that cost the shop maybe $50 total in overhead. I cannot rate highly any business that takes advantage of everyday folk. I'm sure they did quality work, but it was egregiously over-priced. I cannot recommend this place.

Been here twice since it's close to my house. Nice, friendly guys but...both times I had problems with quality control, the latest when the cat converter bung plug fell out while in the CO Rockies 10 days after I had the converter replaced. I drove 600+ miles home sounding like my muffler fell off. A minor inconvenience but come on guys.

Great shop. They know how to actually fix things (welding, fabrication, etc) in contrast to looking up a complete replacement assembly and handing you a bill. Not at all afraid of cars made before the invention of The Diagnostic Port.

These guys are great and very fast on their repairs. I have a '90 Geo Prism that had a complete exhaust system done. They gave me a quote up front with all the costs and worked with my schedule. It was done very well and good quality materials/parts. Running silent and smooth.

One of the best most honest mechanics I've ever talked to, willing to work with you and give you an open pricing structure.Can help you out with something really fast if you are willing to get the parts before you come.He was able to do an entire brake change for me in about 15 minutes.Time is the only true unit of measure.

Went in this morning when they opened the door, got us right in and done less then a hour. Excellent work great people. Just so happy with them personally and professionally. These guys are seriously great. They are honest and fast. They will do exactly what you need, and not try to convince you that you need something costlier than is necessary. They also do more than just mufflers! Just got a quote from them for a clutch repair, which was over $200 less than any place else in town. I will take my car there for any and all repairs I need if possible.

I went to Honda after hearing rattling when I put my foot on my brakes. They told me I needed a new muffler and B-pipe and it was going to be $1,600. I looked elsewhere and got a hold of Andy at Downtown Muffler. He was very professional, and gave me a quick diagnosis and it ended up being a minor problem that did not need a muffler repair. $225 out the door and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend Downtown Muffler!!

If there is such a thing as a craftsman in auto repair, Andy is it. I find other shops hit or miss because you never know who is going to perform the work and whether the quality will be consistent/dependable. With Downtown, it is Andy and crew and they are long timers who care deeply about their work. They do what they say. They do it well. And you won't feel gouged or have a vague feeling that you were taken advantage of. They do more than mufflers. Pretty much any sort of maintenance work (mufflers, brakes, oil, fluids, shocks, struts, etc.). I don't usually trust auto shops. I trust these guys.

Downtown Muffler has been doing all my car repairs for years. Who you choose to work on your car, is literally putting your life in their hands. They are honest, timely, the repairs are top notch. They never do more without contacting you, and discussing what more is needed, when taking my car on any extended trip, I wouldn't dream of hitting the highway without them taking a look at things first, and - since they are the mechanic's, there has never been a problem. They always make sure all the little things are in order before a trip, making sure oil is checked, all other fluids, checking tire pressure, you name it, they want their customers safe, and happy, I trust my cars - because this shop takes care of them. They know my children drive those cars, so keeping them safe is my top concern. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else, I could never say enough to promote this business. If you want it done, and done right, this is the only place to go.

I just got my new engine put in my Forester XT and unfortunately my exhaust didn't line up anymore. So I drove my car with straight pipes over to their shop and they were able to have a new pipe welded on in about 20 minutes and for super cheap. The father and son are really nice and the quality is great. I will recommend them to anyone who needs exhaust or muffler work.

This is the worst place to go ever in my life. I asked the guy to put quite mufflers and he puts glass packs on. I can not believe he did that. The quote was $1100.00 but the bill was $1600.00. And he said he charged extra because his dad had got his hands dirty working on my car. He was not joking, got robbed big time at this place.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

These guys are awesome! Andy is fair and professional. My exhaust pipe broke off my muffler and these guys fixed it with lightning speed at a fair price. Highly recommend them. Thanks Andy!

Be advised: If you're just there to get a rattle looked at or are curious about your exhaust system and the undercarriage of the car and you have the misfortune of showing up when the owner is not around, you're going to be dealing with the son who is not interested in repeat customers or his father's reputation: This guy is only after money because as soon as he gets your car on the lift, you're into him for at least $25 irrespective of what may or may not be done in the way of actual work. We felt ripped off by this character who spent less than 10minutes under our car which had a loose exhaust pipe hanger. We'll never go back in order to avoid this kind of nickel and dime hands in our pocket way of doing business. Be advised the operation does not take checks and will add sales tax to the quoted price if you end up paying with a credit card. Makes us think their accounting system just may be a tad bit peculiar when it comes to paying the sales tax man, eh?

So I am a college student whose car was having some trouble before i drove home. Andy was amazing! He understood that I knew nothing about cars and was willing to work with my dad who was still in Colorado to get my car better. Went above and beyond and I could not be more grateful!

I brought my car in, certain the noise in the back was loose hangers causing the exhaust to rattle into the bumper. After putting it up on the lift and not finding an issue they further took it for a drive and helped diagnose it as a strut instead. I appreciate their honesty and for putting in the extra effort to help me discover what the real issue, this is why I ll be back.

I've been to this shop for a multitude of issues with my car. The shop is run by a father and his son and they have always offered me the lowest price for working on my car. They are very friendly and will actually show you what your options are based on what the issue is. Would highly reccomend this shop, only downside is that they aren't open on the weekends.

We were on a trip to California and just passing through. They took us in and replaced our muffler in under an hour for a decent price on a Friday, no less! I highly recommend them!

Good old hardworking guys getting stuff done. I've had two repairs needed, and these guys fixed it cheap, without trying to up-sell. Pleasant and hardworking shop. I won't go anywhere else.
