Way better than taking my car to the shop! Didn t have to pay a tow bill, or wait weeks to even have my car looked at! Ronnie and his assistant came immediately and he had my car fixed the same day! I had a brake and rotor problem. My whole front end was shaking when I braked. I called Ronnie and he came out and looked same day and got me all squared away in a matter of minutes. He was very professional and quoted me a fair price. I truly appreciate him coming out and taking care of my vehicle.

Ronnie Robinson is genuinely one of the most charitable and hard-working people that I've ever had the pleasure of coming across. When I was truly in a bind, the man gave me nothing but his hours, dedicated labor, and masterful results; along with some good conversations and being incredibly understanding to my situation. He never complained once. He's a badass and a whiz, simply put. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your business anywhere else: go to Allon Mobile.

TLDR: Do not hire this mechanic. Easily the worst experience I have ever had with any "business"My car broke down while driving on the highway on a Saturday. 3 warning lights came on and once I pulled off smoke was coming out of the hood. I called Ronnie that day and told him what had happened asking if he could come and look at it. He said he was off that day but would be willing to come take a look on Sunday. I had my car towed back to my place. On Sunday he showed up and I told him the same story and that the tow driver had said that he thought my car was leaking antifreeze. Ronnie told me I should send him money so he could go get more antifreeze to diagnose the problem. I obliged and he came back, poured it in, and quickly said that the pump would need to be replaced. He told me it was a 3 to 4 hour job and with him alone would take 6 hours max. I asked how much it would cost with labor and parts and he told me $400 asking for me to pay in advance. I thought this was strange but based on his positive reviews went ahead and paid him. Since he showed up later in the day he told me he would need to come back tomorrow to work on it. When I walked home on Monday he had still yet to get the old pump out and said "this is much harder than it looked in the videos." When I asked if I could get him water or anything he told me I could give him more time to complete the job since he had others waiting. I told him I would be fine going another day without my car as I could walk to work. On Tuesday he texted me during the day asking for me to tip him for his work so he could help those less fortunate. I came back expecting the job to almost be complete. He still hadn't managed to remove the old pump citing that I hadn't had my the bolts in my car replaced in too long. After an hour that evening I went back out and he had finally gotten the new pump out. He apologized for it taking so long saying "I dozed off under the car. I'm tired from staying up all night having sex with my 24 year old girlfriend." He then left saying he had an appointment he needed to be at. On Wednesday I came back to him still working on it before leaving with no warning. He left it very disassembled including going as far as taking the belt off the engine. That night it rained very hard but I was unable to close the hood completely because he had left a variety of tools and parts he had taken off in the gap between the hood and the windshield. After ignoring my call Thursday morning he texted me making the excuse that he had to run off because his mom had been in a car wreck and he couldn't come back to work on it because of the rain. I texted back that he needed to make finishing the job his priority or I would leave a negative review. That evening he came back and worked late into the night until around 11 pm. While filling up a coolant bottle with water for his girl who had come along to help she again solicited me to tip them. At that point it seemed that he had finally completed the job. While refilling the antifreeze he said that he could tell if he had just spilled it or if it was leaking from a hose to the pump. He said that the sealant he had used should set for 24 hours and that he would again have to come back tomorrow to finish the job. I didn't hear from him at all Friday until I gave him a call around 4 pm. He said that he had got the car started but it wasn't running well. He asked me if it was smoking at all when I broke down to which I replied that I had told him that twice when I first contacted him. He then said that he must have missed that and that the engine was likely damaged. At this point I was at the end of my patience and just asked if I could drive it at all to bring it to another mechanic. He said that I should be able to but it wouldn't start because of something else he broke on accident. He told me he would come back and get it so that it would start but I haven't heard from him since. When I got home the car wouldn't start at all and I have since paid more to have it towed to another mechanic.

I came to Lawerence for a college visit with my daughter from MN and my car overheated on a Sunday on our way back home. No other place was able to get us in until Monday. Which would be to late since I had to work and my Daughter had school. After calling 6 places that either was closed or did not have a diagnostic technician available til monday I stumbled upson Allon's Mobile Mechanic. He answered the phone right away and two guys was able to get us on the road up and running within a couple of hours. They were very reasonably priced, effective, and efficient. If they lived in MN I would ask them to be my Mechanic. They were a definately a god sent!

We broke down 3 hours from home with bad weather on the way. They got out to us right away and we re fantastic to work with. We were back on the road in no time and they were very fair in their pricing. Highly recommend

Mark really saved the day for me!! I got a flat tire today while working in Lawrence. It also happened to have been snowing all night. Roadside assistance wasn t answering and wasn t in a setting where I could put my spare on. Mark answered at 7:30 am and was working on my car by 8:15. I needed a new tire due to a sidewalk hole. He took my rim to the tire shop and got a new tire. Super nice guy as well. Very courteous and communicated throughout the day what was happening.Highly recommend these guys!!

Ronnie is great! He ordered & replaced my radiator as well as fixed the radiator fan before installing it all. Gave me a modest price for the labor & work!

We drove to Texas from Minnesota and our car died on us in Kansas on the Saturday afternoon when all mechanic shops were closed. We were stranded there with so much stress. Luckily we found Ronnie. He was willing to drive for hours to come and stay up to 2am to fix our car. The price was very reasonable for his work too. He was a great one! Thank you so much Ronnie!

We were so impressed with Ronnie. We had brake problems on a Saturday evening. He found the needed part after calling six different places. Ronnie is the best in the business! Our car was randomly not starting and nobody else could figure it out (everything was testing fine). We live quite a ways out of town and Ronnie came out at 7 pm to take a look at the car. He diagnosed it as a bad starter and blown fuse in under 10 minutes. I ran to town to buy the starter and Ronnie insisted on staying well into the night to get it done. Fair pricing, honest guy and high quality work with great conversation! I would highly recommend him and am planning to have him back out to diagnose and work on our boat. Thanks Ronnie for being awesome!Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

Ronnie drove from Lawrence to Leavenworth, arriving at 8PM. He spent 4 hours until midnight helping to diagnose my girlfriends overheating PT Cruiser.We replaced spark plugs, the radiator cap, did a dye test to check for leaking coolant, and determined that either the cooling fan relays or the fan itself need to be replaced, while also alleviating concerns that there was a head gasket issue.Price was fair and Ronnie is a super cool guy. Ronnie came over and we took a test drive. He was able to diagnose that it wasn't a coil like another mechanic tried to guess. We changed the coil just to make sure, and sure enough, it wasn't it. Being a teacher I don't have a lot of money and he was very kind and made it affordable for me. He even told me he loves to help people and he always wants to help people from being stranded." What a great mechanic! Will use in the future. Positive, honest, & helpful!

The serpentine belt went out on my son's 2004 Hyundai Elantra. I called Ronnie and he was at my house in a couple hours on a Sat morning (he would have been there sooner but I told him I wasn't in a rush). It turns out it was a much bigger job. The alternator had gone bad and blown the belt. So it would take him a couple of hours instead of a short belt fix. But he fit me in the same day and charged a very reasonable price! And he gave advice on a few odds and ends I asked about. It was such a great first experience for my teen son to have with a mechanic!

Literally the best mechanic I ve ever encountered! He was awesome, super nice, got to me in a timely manner and wasn t as expensive as other mechanics, he was just a joy and pleasure to be around! His work was great, he answered all my questions and gave me explanations for all my questions! He was very patient with me and my son(who has autism) which made both of us feel even more comfortable. Best mobile mechanic in town!

My battery died in my Jeep while it was sitting in the garage. I live way out west of town, and have nobody nearby with a vehicle to call for a jump start. Turns out, the battery wouldn t even hold a charge.If you ever need service in Lawrence, CALL THIS GUY. He s incredibly knowledgeable, but also fun to talk to, and really kind. Highly recommend, even if you just need an oil change. Emergency or routine, he can do it. If parts are necessary, he ll get those, too.Very reasonable rates, but if I need him again, he s getting lunch out of the deal, too!Service: Battery

I needed a new starter installed on my vehicle, Mark was very helpful. He communicated with me throughout the entire process and he answered any questions I had. He truly cares about his customers and his pricing is fair.I plan on using him for any of my mechanical needs I have in the future.

They are amazing. Very quick with a big heart. I had a mechanic who had just started. It was his first day. So It was rough in the beginning but no matter what homie said he would stay until I was happy and he did. Plus it got better and more efficient as we progressed. I m going here again. Best mechanic and only mechanic I use, he has fixed my brakes, replaced brake pads, my inside door handle broke and he fixed it solved all battery problems.
