I have done business with Alex for many years and have been thankful each time I take a vehicle to him. He is very honest, straightforward and I never question the amount he charges for the work done on my vehicles. He is extremely easy to work with and I always leave his shop feeling confident about the work done and the relationship that we have established. I highly recommend Alek s Auto.

Made an account specifically to leave this review. These guys were AWESOME. I called after ripping off basically the whole front end of my car and they got me in on 5 min notice and temporarily fixed it so I could drive kids around safely for such a reasonable price. They had an office with the cutest dog that we were able to wait in. It s not often you receive this type of customer service in such a stressful situation. Seriously can t say enough good things about these guys.

Called to ask how much the labor would be to replace a starter. Bought the starter to save on time as most shops in town told me they were on 2 week back order. Man on the phone asked, "If you know the starter is bad and you need it replaced but you can't do it, why did you buy it?"Excuse me?!?!

These guys are great. Twice now I've had problems with my car that they were able to fixed way quicker than any other shop in town. Friendly, knowledgeable and at a decent price. Had my power steering pump recently go out and they had my car back to me later that day. I bought with Alek a used car for an affordable price, and it has been going great so far! Also, I have used their repair services (which is also affordable) and they do an amazing job by going the extra mile. Amazing service! Got me in quickly to replace my alternator and even informed me about other electrical issues my car was having and recommended what kind of specialist I should see to get those taken care of.

Alek and his son were absolutely awesome to work with when buying my niece a car. They were professional, courteous, and super easy to work with. I ended up getting her a very nice car at a great price, something that will undoubtedly last her for years to come. I would most definitely shop with them again.

I bought a car from Alek. I only gave it a 4 star because when I picked up the car it wasn't ready and I ended up missing an appointment.his service was great. The work was phenomenal and the car ride is smooth! If you're looking for a car definitely come here!

Amazing these guys are very nice and treated me and my family so nice got me into affordable car and runs like a champ these guys are awesome thank you for the help and the professionalism and treating us like family thank you very much the Suzuki is amazing. the owner is so nice and his kids and the owner are very smart they hear a noise they instantly know. it's amazing me and my family are life long customers now. Thank you thank you one more thing I thought I need to mention there honesty is so amazing so blessed to have bought a car here because they are so honest thank you for that seriously you guys.

Excellent, honest, and cost-effective car and customer service here by Alek and his sons. I bought my car here last October and had a very quick and seamless experience with that. And I have had major repairs performed there, too (on other cars) and am confident that they are done well and cost efficiently. Highly recommend Alek's Auto Shop!

Alex, the mechanic at this shop, was awful. He belittled my boyfriend right after we made the payment. He touched my six year old daughter s hair without asking. She felt really uncomfortable and my boyfriend did too. He asked my boyfriend can you read and can you see? After he asked for car prices. He also made creepy comments to my daughter about her physical appearance. Families should be careful of this shop.

Alek has been taking care of my family's car repair for years, and we've bought two vehicles from him. I have nothing but good things to say about Alek and his sons and the way they do business. I literally trust him with the lives of my children, who drive back and forth to school in San Antonio in vehicles bought from and maintained by Alek and his sons. He's a great guy. Friendly, knowledgeable, honest. If you go there to buy a very inexpensive car, obviously, you get that, and you shouldn't be surprised with what you've just purchased. But he has higher end cars for sale as well. I recommend him highly! I'm embarrassed for the google user who described him disparagingly as "obviously not American." Such a close-minded and rude thing to say -- and not in keeping with average Lawrencians, I don't think. We pride ourselves in being open-minded. Alek is great! He's an interesting, intelligent Russian immigrant -- nothing wrong with that. By working extremely hard, he's made a good life for his family and a good reputation for himself in Lawrence. Check him out if you need a reliable, affordable used car.

Very nice people! I called about my car problem and was in the shop shortly afterward that same day. Very quick and efficient - even filled up my oil. Will definitely go back again. SO happy with my experience.

Went to this auto sales & service to get an estimate on valve cover gasket & manifold gasket. The owner said, leave your care here and come back later. I asked him " can I see your garage? " And he said "no." That right their raised some RED FLAGS. " He's shady, like he's up to no good. A SCAM ARTIST.

Visited this delaership this morning with a friend. We were looking at a Mitsubishi Eclipse. A man who I believe to be the owner came outside and glared at us. I informed him that we were looking at the Mitsubishi for sale. He said nothing and kept staring at us with this "get off my property" look. We decided to leave and he only went back inside once we had pulled out of the parking lot. Definitely the WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had at ANY dealership. Go anywhere but here. The nicest thing I can say about Alek's Auto is that they can't go out of business soon enough!

The owner told me that the reason my car was making noise was because I needed a new transmission for my 2012 Toyota Camry that has 50K miles on it. I went to Crown Toyota the next day to get a second opinion and the noise was coming from my splash shields. They took it off at Crown and it hasn't made a sound since. So, basically the dealer here tried to rip me off out of 4000 dollars, which is what he quoted me. BE CAREFUL, THEY ARE MONEY-GRUBBING SCAM ARTISTS!

Alex saved the day for my husband and I. He helped us out, was super friendly and didn't push us to make big decisions right away when we were faced with a bigger problem than anticipated. We will definitely be using him for future endeavors!!
