Went in for a tire years ago, still go there for oil changes, tires, and other things requiring a mechanic. They work with me, and are real about what to expect. Great prices, fast, great work. Sometimes takes a week or so to get in, but worth it

Definitely a city price, with the city customer service. Coming from a warming small town, this place is not at the top of my list I'll stick with Holton, KS, Wilson Tire.

Randy is an very kind, patient and honest businessman! I ended up having an issue that had to go to the dealership to be resolved, but Randy kept in touch with me every step of the way when trying to resolve the issue with my car and looked at everything he could think of before sending me to the dealership. In the future, he will be getting all my business and I highly recommend him to anyone experiencing trouble with their vehicle!

Randy is always great, had some issues with bearings and suspension spring and they got my car fixed up so it sounds good with no more noise. Had a little hiccup with a miscommunication but he got everything done right. Always appreciate his honesty and hard work. Only been here once, but I came in for an oil change/tire rotation, per usual. Was graciously told I didn t need a tire rotation since my newer tires were on the front and better for ice/snow. I don t imagine the dealership I was going to would have said that. Quick service, in and out with an appt. It s a small shop, so you definitely want an appt, but I believe they d be the people to try and fit you in as soon as they possibly could. My appointment was a week out and there s been snow recently so maybe more business than usual for them.

Great service. Fast, friendly...really all you could ask for. They got me an appointment for an oil change within 24 hours and completed my service quickly. They even cleaned my battery terminals at no extra charge. The best pricing for a full synthetic oil change I have found in the area. A +

This summer I had an AC issue in my Subaru. I took it to the dealership in KC and was quoted to replace the motor. I went to A+ in Lawrence and the identified the problem that the dealership overlooked and saved me thousands of dollars! You cannot beat a local business like that.I was impressed that they took care of all my needs in a timely order. They were forthcoming about and repair and the expected cost.The owner is most pleasant and you can tell he is a hard working man. I am happy to give them my support and would recommend them to everyone looking for an experienced, honest, strait forward local business to take all their auto concerns to.A+ auto saved me during the heat of summer and I am headed back for tires and winterizing before it gets too cold!

Absolutely fantastic service - came in a month or two ago for an alternator and belt replacement and the quote was ~$400 cheaper than anywhere else in town. Brought my car back in this morning because of an engine issue and they quickly and cleanly took care of everything, with zero attempt to suggest repairs i didn't need. Fastest, most affordable auto service in Lawrence.

I had been getting my vehicle serviced here since Brian owned it, and was happy with the new owners until recently. I purchased a used Honda. I took my vehicle in to be checked here, and was told there were tons of major things wrong with it and the person who deals with the public made me feel like I purchased a piece of junk. So, I took it to a Honda mechanic. The Honda mechanic gave me a completely different opinion, I learned so much about my vehicle from this new mechanic, and he informed me only a couple of things needed to be repaired. This mechanic has been working on Honda's for over 40 years, so he should know what he is talking about. The cost of my repairs went from over well $2000 to around $300. The Honda mechanic also said he thought I got a good deal on an older used vehicle. I have referred loads of friends and family to A+, but I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience, I doubt that I will return nor will I refer friends.

First off...Let me just say I ve always had bad luck with mechanics, I bring my car in somewhere and I m told something needs replaced then once I drive off, something else screws up and needs replaced. Well of course I knew something serious was wrong with my car, I kept getting denied by all these mechanics in Lawrence, oh we wont be able to look at it until next week I had almost given up. I gave A Plus Auto a call and yes they were busy, but I was told they would be able to look at my car. I brought my car up and they were able to look at it a lot sooner than I thought. I had spoken with Randy, he was super nice!! He was able to help locate a new motor for my car with the same miles and get the motor done in no time! Today I drove off in my car feeling like I just bought a new one. I can t thank Randy enough and all the other staff that helped with my car! Thank you guys so freakin much! You all saved me so much money! I ll definitely return!

Randy and the other mechanics are the best in the business! You will never get a too-high price (overcharge), or unnecessary work pushed on you. They are genuinely good and kind people. Recently bought a new car and they took the top to inspect them, tell me yes or no, and refer me out when work needed done they couldn't do (which is almost nothing! These men are VERY capable and knowledgeable) They have tools for most cars and a lift of course. Very fast turn around and they TRULY value their customers. They are also starting to sell cars. If you want to buy a vehicle and NOT deal with a dealer or "chop shop" ... Go to a mechanic!! I can never say enough good things about them, have been with them for almost 6 years!

Very happy with service. They didn't try to tell me I needed repairs other than what I went in for. Replaced serpentine and timing belt for half the price of other places I checked. Was fixed in a timely manner. I will return and recommend A Plus.

I would definitely recommend A Plus Auto & Tire LLC. They were able to get me in quickly to take a look at all the issues I was having with my car. These guy are AWESOME SAUCE! My X5-BMW had a flat tire, while I was traveling on business. They were able to get me in right away, repaired my tire in 20 minutes and I was on my way! Plus I met some amazing peeps while I waited. This business just simply cares and it shows! A+++++++++++++++. I HIGHLY Reccomend!

Awesome service! Initially I believed the water pump had gone out on my truck as it was leaking antifreeze. The quote for repair from A+ was only $290 and so I scheduled it for a couple days later. When making the repair, A+called to say the water pump was fine but a hose was leaking. This repair would be cheaper than the water pump! Very friendly staff and I plan to go back for any other auto repairs I need!

Every time I ve been in the opinions have been honest and the service when scheduled has been very timely! It s nice to be able to get a fair price on auto repair, to know you aren t getting ripped off, and for that service not to interfere with the whole day.So glad to have found this place!

Randy stands out above the rest. My daughter had called a few places to get her car looked at. Several places, even those which were rated highly on Google, were rude and patronizing when she called them, but not A Plus Auto. Randy was super polite to her, and to me when I called.In addition to treating customers right, Randy is very honest. He found one thing starting to go but rather than try to talk us into the repair, he suggested we keep an eye on it rather than spend money now. The repair he did do was done very quickly and it cost much less than I expected.Randy will now get all of my business in Lawrence.

Dropped off my vehicle 1st thing in the morning and they were done before lunch. Randy and Scott, do great work at a fair price. I will be returning soon to get new valve cover gaskets.

Always the best service. Very honest and don't try to overcharge you or fix stuff that doesn't need fixed so they make more money. Highly recommend them, best mechanics I've ever been to.

If I could give them more starts I would. The previous place I got my oil change done broke off the dipstick. I took it to A+ Auto and they got it out for me! Super friendly
