I drove 5 hours to purchase my first camper from Stephen Ray. The entire team made my experience a great one! They were patient, knowledgeable and kind! I would gladly drive the distance again! Thank you all!

My wife and I came to look at campers, we were greeted by the folks at the front desk and Stephen. Stephen showed us several campers over a couple of days. Stephen was very patient with us and understood why we would look and come back a day or two later and look some more. Like I said very patient with us, he is very knowledgeable when it comes to camper and was a great help. When we went in we took a list of requirements and he showed us campers that had what we were looking for and not other campers that didn't like so.e other dealers in the area did. We strongly suggest that if you are looking for a camper go see Stephen.Another thing that surprised us is that the items they have on the floor are priced cheaper then a supply house I have beef using for many years so check with them on pricing before buying somewhere else.

Absolutely the WORST place to buy a RV. We live in OKC and were looking to get into a newer 5th wheel. This location had a few that were in our budget and we drove 5 hours to look at it. The salesman was great and worked with us to get pre-approved paperwork just incase we found what we were looking for. We got there at 5:30 on a Saturday and they closed at 6. We were short on time, but they had it pulled inside and hooked up so we could go through everything. It was in good shape except a few cosmetic blemishes that I wasn t too worried about. I asked them specifically if they looked at the brakes and was told they did. I said did they need any kind of adjustment or anything like that because we had a long haul back home. I was told they did not have to do any adjusting. I noticed one of the mirrors to the closest seemed loose and asked if they could seal it in so it didn t break on the way home. When they were doing that, they shattered the glass and offered us a $100 gift card to fix it at another camping world location. Anyone that has ever serviced anything at a dealership knows that is not even going to cover half an hour worth or labor to install let alone parts. We go back and forth but eventually I just want to get on the road so I agree to the gift card. We decide we want it and we go to finance. At this point, it s after 6 and they were nice enough to let us stick around and sign all of our paperwork so we could get on the road that night. It took us over an hour to go through the whole financing process, but the guy was really nice and helpful and explained things well. At 7:30, we go out and the salesman offered to help us hookup the trailer, but we opted to leave the trailer there for a little longer and go get something to eat before we hooked up to head home. We get hooked up and before I leave I tested the brakes, and there s nothing. I use the brake controller on max output and squeeze the trigger and nothing but a little squeaking and metal grinding from the brakes. We drive around the parking lot and it doesn t get better. So I call the salesman and get nothing. At this point, we aren t sure what to do but we decided to stay overnight and wait until the next day when they open to see what they can do since I ve obviously been lied to at this point. The next day I talk to the GM for the day and he says sorry but we can t do anything until Monday because we have no technicians. In my opinion this constitutes you getting someone here and fixing my issues because this is a major safety concern and they should have fixed it looked at this before they sold it to me. So we have to stay another night and take off of work the next day for them to bring the trailer back in there bay to look at it. The salesman was there that day and they let us put some water in the tanks to shower and brought us some toiletries as well. Monday they bring in the trailer and the brakes are TOAST. They have melted the breakaway box and have high resistance through the brake circuit. All 4 brakes needed to be replaced and were not functioning. So they grab the parts they need to fix it and say it should be 12-1 when they re done. At 2 I ask where they are with the repair and they said almost done. At 4, we finally hooked up the trailer to get ready to pull out and the fridge is making a beeping and not running in the gas. They sent a tech out and he messed with it for an hour and couldn t fix it. He said they would order the part I needed and send it to me. Three weeks later, I still did not have the part and I was having issues with the toilet flowing water, the water heater leaking around the drain plug, the seal they fixed over the main slide had ripped off due to poor prep, the exhaust fan in the bathroom was squealing and not working, and the black tanks weren t sealing so they leak when driving even though they are closed amongst other smaller, but irritating issues. Called HQ to try to find a solution and all they do is pass the buck and Mr. compassionate CEO clearly doesn t live up to what they put on their website.

Stephen Ray was great to work with when we purchased our travel trailer. He was not the typical salesman and did not pressure us into buying anything. He let us explore freely as we wished in campers until we found the right one for us. He also made sure to pick out campers that matched our wish list. He was genuine and kind. We would work with him again for sure. 100% recommend Stephen for your camper buying needs. :)

i had mixed emotions about dropping off my new THOR motorhome for a battery charging problem. After reading all of the negative reviews, I considered taking it to a different warranty center. I went ahead and called the Legends Camping World and spoke with Beth at the service counter. She was very professional on the phone so I decided to take it to them after all. The battery issue showed up 2 days before Christmas, 2023. After meeting with Beth, on 12-26-23, I explained the problem in detail, and she assured me they could find the problem. At first, there was an issue about the warranty, as THOR was very slow in returning my calls and emails. My coach is only 8 months old with 7000 miles on it. With the warranty still in question, Beth took it upon herself to work with her technician Dillon. He was a Godsend. He called me numerous times to explain the issues he was finding with the batteries not charging. After Dillon fixed the problem on 1-3-24, I picked up my motorhome on schedule.Camping World will be billing THOR for the problem. There is still an outstanding issue with the leveling jacks not performing properly, but we will deal with that when we return from Florida in February.Kudos to Beth and Dillon for going out of their way to honor the THOR warranty and get us back on the road. They have earned my trust and business

Beth has been extremely helpful with our experience at Camping World! We brought our travel trailer in to be serviced for the year and she did a great job communicating and working with us on ensuring that our camper is all fixed up to head out on our upcoming trip. She made the check-in and check-out procedures an enjoyable experience. It was timely and efficient which is super helpful with our busy schedules. We will definitely be back!

The place & workers are worth the 5 stars. Excellent selection & service! The establishment is well kept & there is a huge selection of just about everything one needs or would want. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted with a friendly smile. It was V.I.P. service from the beginning! The atmosphere was positive, the energy was uplifting & it was a great experience. We were immediately assisted & all our questions were answered by knowledgeable employees. We never felt pressured, at any time, which made us feel comfortable & secure in our purchases. The combination of it all gave us a sense of security. We want to give a special thanks to Shelly (front desk) & to 3 other staff members: Stephen, George & Phil C., as they all went over & above to make it a special day! Camping World is lucky to have employees like each one of you. Thank you. We appreciated each and every one of you & the entire experience.Mario & Brandy

Update: Mathew from CW reached out to me concerning the review. Showed true concern on making it right. He reached out to the parts manager and the parts manager said as long as the part was not installed. We could return it. Hopefully this will be the upward trend I referred to. Look forward to hopefully changing my view towards CW and my bad experience so far. Also, the review is not just about parts. It s about service. Every business has an opportunity to fix the issue. So far Matthew and parts has started the journey to change that.Bought a camper 3/24/23. Shortly after purchasing the camper. There was a water leak. Brought it in to have it looked at. According to the work order. The notes said leak possibly in bathroom. We had a weekend trip planned so we went and picked it up. We decided to just not use the water. During the weekend my friend and I, who also had issues with CW found the leak. We took it back to CW, let them know where the leak was. Also informed them the outside stove could not connect to the coupling for the propane. They fixed the leak. Not sure how long the had it for. Finally we took it back to CW to have the interior laminate replaced in the booth. Our camper was brought in the month of October. Finally was able to get it back in March. Went to pick it up and noticed it had hail damage. I bought a part to replace on our awning. At the time we picked up our camper. That Monday. Our agent came out and now the camper is a total loss. So in the year I had this camper. CW had it 8 months out of the year. And will not take back the part I now have no use for. That never was installed. The issue with CW is not the selling, not the financial part. It completely is the service. If it was not for our amazing service rep. IWould have taken been more frustrated. Our rep has moved to another part of the service department which I believe she will make an impact in improving the service. Unfortunately for me and others that I see stories in the Facebook group. The damage has already been done.

Bought a camper with missing and broken blinds. We we're told that they will be ordering new ones. Showed back up several times to check on them and nobody knew what we were talking and kept saying they be ordering them but nothing ever came of it. The reason I kept coming back was to buy things to repair the camper that should have addressed before it even hit the sales lot like cracking and dry seals that were on the verge of leaking and a broken poop exhaust pipe. Then I did further research and realized that the rims did not match the make and model of my camper and noticed a little bit of dry rotting on the tires and thought no big deal its a 5 year old camper. I took my family out on our first Excursion in our camper and about 45 minutes down the road I had a blowout I didn't want it to continue happening so I bought all four new tires and a new spare because I had the tire guys look at them and they were all ready to blow. Very easy to see so whoever is inspecting these campers before they go on the lot needs to be fired and they obviously swapped tires and rims from what was on it or the previous owner never moved it which I don't believe. I spoke with the service manager and he said he would get back with me he never did so I called once a week finally I contacted the general manager he spoke with me once and said that he would do something about it he started ignoring me also. Finally I called corporate and they sent me a check for the amount of all five tires the store location is garbage but corporate is good.

Or shopping experience with Camping World was wonderful. We told them what we were looking for and they showed us several options. We found a travel trailer that suited our needs and at the right price. Stephen was extremely helpful in finalizing the deal, getting what we wanted for our trade, and extremely helpful after the sale. Delivery day went well and the walk through of the trailer was very helpful and taught us some things about our new trailer that we didn't already know. All in all, it was a very positive experience and I would recommend CW to anyone looking for an easy buying experience.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I do not recommend buying a camper from this business. It has been a nightmare. We have bought 4 campers and this has by far been the worst experience we have ever had. Nothing was completed on time at our pick up appointment like it was suppose to be. We were there for 5 hours waiting after filling out our paperwork. The weekend after we bought the camper, we went camping and they did not give us the right hook up cord. It was a holiday weekend and no one was open or had one. After driving 4 hours to camp we came back home. We have been contacting them for 3 months now and they say they send the new cord and, surprise, surprise, we still have no cord. This is a different cord than most campers use and is expensive, or we would have just said forget it, we will get it ourselves. But after spending $65,000 with them, you would think they would treat a customer better and actually send the correct part needed. Camping World also said they would handle the title work for the camper and have it mailed to our house. Again, 3 months later and it is still not licensed because it was NOT sent to our house and they made a check out for $1,500 over what it was suppose to be and the license bureau will not give us the difference. We have been calling every other week to get this resolved and it still is not resolved. Now we have $200 late fees to license the camper, after the correct check is cut... whenever that will be. I do not recommend this place of business.

I was really just interested in seeing what my options were, and Brandi approached me. She was very knowledgeable about the inventory, she gave me a lot to think about when she discussed the various styles and amenities of the different equipment. Will definitely seek her out when I finally make a purchase. Excellent customer service and product knowledge! Go see Brandi!

We had a great experience with Stephen. He spent time walking us through campers until we found the lay out we wanted. He spent a lot of time tracking down RV's that fit our requested and ultimately found one we got. Being used there were a few issues but Stephen along with his GM did everything they could to assist in making our camper great.

Horrible Experience, I'm still going through. They put my inverter/converter in backwards. The on is the off and vice versa. This is causing the RV not to work properly. This was GRAIN VALLEY MO. I took it into the Kansas City KS service center to get it fixed because that was the closest to me. I am being charged 1600.00 for them to tell me that Grain Valley will not cover their work, and I would need to repay Kansas City for them to but the unit in correctly this time. If I do not have them do the work, I only own them 1600.00 for diagnosis fees. This is crazy, DO NOT Go To Camping World. This has been a horrible experience, that I am still in the middle of.

Team was very easy to work with, a very non-pressure experience. Sales rep Stephan took our overall wants into account to try to match us with a trailer that met our needs. Manager Justin worked with us to match our trailer with our budget. Finance Manager Dane took the time to walk us through each aspect of the costs and potential add-ons without trying to sell us anything we weren t interested in. Overall an easy, stress-free purchase from an experienced crew.

Went in to look around. We've been shopping online and ready to go inside to 'feel' the differences. Met at the door and quickly shuffled out because we aren't ready to buy today. Wow! Mind you, there were 3 salesmen standing around talking together and the man booting us out was flirting with his front desk girl. I countered his "reasons" he wouldnt take me on the lot with, "Lets be honest, its about money and not getting a sale." He nodded and said "Thats something too." Whomever owns this store should probably take a serious look at management and/or HOW these people are paid. I'd rather buy from another human than a dealer now. Good job guy!

He along with the rest of the staff we're helpful in answering all my question. Stephen would send me different available floor plans to give me options and ideas. Had a great experience.

Dropped off camper, did not estimate damage that was mentioned, had to go home and fill up tanks myself, then sent photos of tank leaking, camper generator ran for 26 hours in there lot until gas was gone. Then no one for over a week has done the estimate, no one answers the phone, and both the severice dept, and corporate admit they have alot of burglaries (don't leave it over the weekend) What a wast of time and money so far. Let's see if corporate gets anything done.

I purchased my trailer new from Grain Valley, MO in the Fall of 21. I had a great experience. This last April, I took the trailer to Legends for preventative maintenance. They UV treated the roof, replaced the tires and packed the bearings. All the lug nuts worked loose in less than a 1000 miles. When the mechanic began the repairs out in Colorado,he commented that the hubs seemed a little dry. The roof began leaking around the refrigerator vent four months later. When I went in to discuss this, their only answer is the roof is no longer under warranty. I wish I could give them five stars.I wish they had just done their job. They lost a customer.

The RV we bought was registered incorrectly and we got no assistance in resolving the issue.Took the RV in for a generator problem, mentioned that the remote start switch looked faulty. We were charged for several hours of troubleshooting and were told there was a code in the generator. Took the RV to Cummins and the fault code could not be reproduced. Switch was replaced and the problem was resolved, dealership would not provide any discount for not evaluating the switch that we told them in advance was concerning us.

The rates seem ok, but financing is compounded daily it's like a loan shark. The plus is that they seem to have all the devices and attachments to get you legal to haul a trailer from there to where you are going and will help you get your truck ready to pull the new camper home.

  Jake Elders

Sales team are decent, but never EVER EVER use their service department. Poor communication (that's putting it politely) and insanely overpriced. Have an extended warranty to cover repairs? Too bad, because they'll determine that whatever damage you have was caused by the one thing that's not covered, even if you can definitively prove that wasn't the cause. Absolute trash customer service and reason of money hungry scammers.

I worked with Mitchell Floyd in sales, he was great. He knew exactly what he had for inventory. It seemed every camper he showed better than first. He did a great job of listening of what we liked and didn't. Mitchell was super friendly and easy to work with. I would highly recommend you ask to work with him!

Camping World of the Legends is a world class place! These guys made our camper buying experience a fun and easy experience! Everyone was super nice and full of knowledge and a true joy to do business with. They did everything they could to make our dream of owning our own camper come true. The finance team were awesome and our sales woman Shannon even helped us navigate our way out of the city when we left for our 4 hour drive home with our new camper! Anyone that knows Kansas City knows when you are pulling a camper in that traffic, it helps to know what lane you need to be in ahead of time and she had us follow her so we could make it out of the city traffic with ease! She is amazing! If anyone needs a new RV or anything RV related, go see these guys! They will take care of you in a hurry! Thanks again Shannon, Dane, and Shelly for being the amazing, professional, and fun people that you are!
