Went in today to ask questions and man did they put out some good information 10/10 recommend yea it s expensive but hey you get what you pay for not paying to just plug and play paying for top of the line work and quality 100% fasho will do business with them down in the future

I tried to ask the worker if they have any amplifiers and they wanted me to be specific so I told them and he looked at me like I had no idea what I was talking about so I told him I wanted an audio amp for an audio visualizer and he says they don't have them. Very unhelpful. Never coming back here again.

I ve had Performance Audio install a sub for me as well as add vinyl graphics to my car. All of them had superior communication skills! I was able to drop my car off the day prior as I live out of town and pick it up when they were finished.The quality of work for both services were top notch!They were friendly and very knowledgeable in their fields.They will absolutely be my go to for the rest of my upgrades on my car. Prices were exceptionally reasonable. I payed both appointments in full prior to each appointment. That was nice as I am always extremely busy.I highly recommend them!

I had them install a remote start last fall and they did a awesome job. Had no issues with the remote started since having it put in. I recommend them to have electronics installed.

Cody had helped me through the majority of my experience. Everyone there was very courteous and patient with any concerns or questions I had. I purchased a high quality set up from them and it's been one of the best purchases I've made. They worked with me to determine what I wanted and what I could afford. I recommend this place to anyone in need of a new stereo system.

Awesome locally owned company that takes care of the locals and military transplants! I have seen a lot of their work in town (and a great chance you have too!) and it looks great. I had them install a remote start on my truck and my husband's truck. My husband was hesitant, but after meeting with them and seeing how they took care of his truck, and showed him how to use it, he was SOLD! He uses it every day, several times a day.He is not one to brag about things he has, but he tells everyone that he got it at Performance Audio and they should head down there, too. I'm pretty sure if given a Performance Audio sticker, he'd proudly slap that on his truck (and he has NO stickers on it).As a MILITARY family of nearing 20 years, we have seen our share of businesses who do take advantage of the military and this is NOT one of those.. PERFORMANCE AUDIO IS TOPS IN KNOWLEDGE, PRODUCT, & SUPPORT. Their support goes far beyond the technical aspects of what they do.And for the record, having grown up around people with car audio systems of all types, I would not be surprised if most of these negative reviews were from people who were being stupid with their systems or devices and didn't listen to this team's expertise. I don't believe them at all! PERFORMANCE AUDIO IS THE BEST!!!!

Hands down the best spot in town. High quality work is being done at this place. I have had 3 remote starts for 3 different cars, 4 different window tint jobs and several other things done here. Good energy here as well!

Been going to these guys for 4 years. Last year being relocated overseas because of military. Today they were still able to help me and hook it up with an update on my car alarm system. Strongly recommend to anyone looking for reliable service.

I recently came in to Performance Audio to find out the prices regarding door actuators for my vehicle. One of the gentlemen approached me once I entered the building and immediately asked if I needed assistance and of course I informed him my problem. He was kind enough to verify, without charging me a dime, both my door actuators. He felt that the actuators were probably lose, which they were, and just needed to be bolted back up. There was another employee who heard my issue as I was chatting with the first gentleman and he immediately threw a price of $200 for install plus any other faults that would cause any problems. Now the first employee was kind enough to lend a hand to help a fellow active service member out however the other employee, I felt, was out trying to rack any and all money dry from me. What's worse is that this company does not stipulate any written agreement or important information, on paper of course, informing customers about their return policies, restocking fees, or any pertinent info customers need before they make a final decision. It's so unfortunate that there are businesses out there that still prey on soldiers. It's also sad that the kindness of that first gentlemen is overshadowed by the crooked and shady workings of that establishment. The first employee should be an example to Performance Audio and help educate to their overall business mindset and genuine customer service. I will ensure that Fort Riley understands the type of business Performance Audio is and have the thorough support to blacklist them from this installation. No more scamming hard working service members dry just for an extra quick buck. Ladies and gentlemen, do not step foot inside this business!

These guys are the best. If you want cheap work and someone who is gonna damage your baby, take it anywhere else. If you want it done professionally and not have to worry that your car might explode then go to these guys. Never had a problem with anything they have installed in my vehicles( they have worked on 3 of my cars). Oh and they do have financing for you low ballers out there.

Great owner and staff really enjoys what he does and had real experience with what he sells. Goes above and beyond and not unreasonable on prices. Got subs and an additional battery in my Benz and they did a clean professional job definitely recommend

If you want cheap, go elsewhere. If you want quality products, workmanship, and customer service, come here. After having a less than satisfactory audio installation performed at another shop, I came to these guys to get the job done right. They have patiently worked with me over several months to install, tune, and re-tune my system until I was satisfied. And, boy am I satisfied...my new car stereo sounds fantastic! I also had them install sound deadening, remote start, HID headlights, LED interior lighting, and a trailer wiring harness and they did a great job on all of it. Considering that modern cars are highly complicated and many aftermarket systems require a lot of tweaking to work with the OEM electrical and computer systems, I find the prices they charge to be very reasonable. Highly recommended!

(Not to be trusted to tune a amp correctly per manufacturer recommend settings)Have spent over $3000 here.. The customer service is as good as a car salesman and the quality of the work was good. Had them install a JL W7 13 with a JL 1200HD amp 2 years ago in a ported custom box that looked good and you couldn't get the the sub or the amp. It blew once in 6 months which was covered under JLs warranty but blew again about a year ago but I work out of state and have been gone without the car or sub since when it started to go out and since I knew I was leaving for work didn't have time to go get it checked out until yesterday. When I went in they told me the guarantee it wasn't hooked up incorrectly without even looking and the person who hooked it up no longer works there. I had them humor me and test is which the reluctantly did (kind of) it was at 63.5 volts and should be 60.. (the remote gain which they hooked up was turned almost al the way down). I had to remove the back cover of the box to even get to the wires which I did there so they could see it wasn't removed. I tested it with the remote gain turned up and tested it again and it was 106.5. volts. They claim to know audio but with the max should be the max of the safe range of the amp, and when I was there they were more concerned about selling a used JLw7 12 for the same price as it would cost to get the JLw13 fix which JL now replaces the sub with a brand new sub so basically tried to make money to give me a worse sub for the same price it would cost me to replace the better one.. (There is more but wouldn't recommend them to hook up a system correctly and after the purchase is complete wouldn't honor the service and it is gone.)

I have been going to Performance Audio for a few years now for all of my audio, lighting, and electrical equipment in my truck and I would never go anywhere else. The staff has always been very friendly and quick to assist me, and their quality of work is top notch. Their prices are very fair and a lot more reasonable than what I have been quoted in the surrounding area and KC. Their service is professional and thier work is guaranteed. Anytime I have ever had a question regarding any equipment they have installed, they have always been more than happy to assist me.If you are thinking about getting anything done to your vehicle, from audio eqipment, to new wheels and tires, to a remote start, dont hesitate to get it done at Performace Audio.

This place is awesome. They work with u with everything. The prices are a little high but u get damn good quality products and a fantastic sound. They perform their jobs with quality service and the audio sound that they give u is very much worth the price that u pay. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants high performance and quality sound. The name speaks for itself, Performance Audio.....

Started off ok until we discussed price. Asked if he would do I military discount he stated no (which is totally fine) but, he then proceeded to tell me that everyone here is military, he was a military brat, his family members were in the military basically saying it's nothing special. Also when I told him that a lot of reviews for the product I wanted installed stated that it was an easy install, he said basically said yeah sure and shut my door and walked away. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere.

Would like to like them, but it is a typical business around a base (the prices are way too high). I wanted a overhead DVD, starts at 800. Go one hour east or west and the price is 450-500. Big difference.Like I said before, I would like to like them, I would like to help a local Mom and Pop, but not for an extra 300. There will always be a young private who needs to pay a 'stupid' tax. Business need to be built on the backs of the fighting man.They are nice people, just way overpriced.

Got my front windows tinted today, these guys rock! I was in and out in less than an hour and the staff was very friendly and very clear on after care. Thanks so much guys I ll for sure return in the future if I ever need your services again!

I'd say it's over priced. Tried to sell me a kenwood 165U for $145.00. It's $89.00 online. Also they charged $45 to look at some wires and tell me they were hooked up wrong. But they are knowledgeable guys and seem like they could set you up with anything!

I had a system installed in my Dodge ram. They steered me towards jbl which by brand ain't bad but needless to say I don't want to drop a retirement fund into my backseat ya know?....Anyways, here we are about 8 months later my amp blew. Doing some research, the amp is only 160RMS. On 500 watt subs bridged.This math does not add up to me and completely explains the amp blowing .Regardless of settings the amp should be able to handle the output when pairing things together..Now that I'm outta state I will be finding another company who can help me with this ..Overall high prices, equipment that is lackluster to say at best and I would stay away better off putting Walmart subs in yourself

Worst audio place ever. They take advantage of their costumers with their outrages prices I guess it's because all of the materials they use Is made out of gold. Rude also especially that guy named Cody worst out of all of them. Your better off spending 40 bucks to go to Kansas City and finding a cheaper place. What a bunch of thief.
