There are a lot of negative reviews, but I have always been grateful to the people who work here for their courteous procedures. Even when I had trouble understanding something, they were always polite and helpful.

I don t know her name, but the lady sitting at the first widow when you walk in is so rude. Just tried to switch my out of state license. Instead of saying I had the wrong documents she got an attitude over it. All she needed to say was I can t take a copy but instead wants to start and argument over it. Also it s not listed on the dmv website that it can t be a copy, but I guess they can make up their own rules

I have never had an issue with any of the employees inside the DMV. But just called today (08/08/2023 3:30pm) and whomever I spoke with sounded like she could of cared less about taking my call and felt like she was just waiting for a reason to be rude and snarky. Just called to see how much my tag renewal and received nothing but short answers and hostility. Maybe it s time for some retraining.

Ms Allbritton is always very helpful and kind; when others are more reluctant to help she has always went the extra mile with a good attitude. We have been thankful for the help we received from the DMV in general, but it's workers like her who make it go 'round.

I always dread going to the DMV, but I was pleasantly surprised with my experience here! The staff was so nice and helpful. They were patient and I was in and out quickly. Thank you to the staff here! You all are awesome!

It sounds crazy to write a positive review of a tag agency, but in the multiple times that I've been there, it's been a great experience. The lady that works at the front desk is very helpful and seems genuinely caring and nice. Every person who works at the individual stations has also been helpful and friendly. They even have a public computer that you can print any needed documents from to save people time. I never dread going to this place and that's a first for tag agencies.

Exceptional customer service received today. I needed to renew my tags and get a replacement tag as mine was so faded it was very hard to read. I was told I needed to bring old tag in so employee was nice and gave me two kinds of screw drivers to remove it. I went out to take it off. I wasn't able to turn the screws so asked two different gentlemen for help. Neither was able to get it off. I went back inside and employee came back outside to try and get it off. She was successful! I can't say enough good about this woman/ employee. They were very busy. I'm a Senior citizen. She could have just blown me off and told me to come back when I had it off. She was pleasant throughout the whole thing. Unfortunately I didn't get her name, but she is at window#1. I hope her supervisor reads this review!!

It s the stereotypical DMV no one gives you information , just expected to know , and when you ask question it s attitude, just do whatever you need to do online

It went pretty smooth. In & out. But, "warning", it does not close at 1630 hrs! They now close at 1600 hrs. Luckily I got there before 1600 thinking I had plenty of time. Nice of them to let the public in on the time change. And it's always a treat to pay the state registration fee because giving all my money away makes me feel real spiritual, don't you know .

I ve been here multiple times and they are always friendly and fast. The last time I went I had a grumpy toddler with me who was throwing a fit and the lady that was helping me just smiled. Even though I was embarrassed I didn t feel judged. Almost like she understood what I was going through lol. Seriously the best registration office I ve ever been to and always quick.

Imagine getting off of work early to come here only to be turned away at the door and being told to make an appointment online! Terrible! If you close at 3pm, maybe your website should reflect that. Maybe your website should also state online appointments are MANDATORY. You're playing with people's time and money.

My husband went to get a tag for the vehicle we purchased while in Alabama. The lady at the front he talked to was EXTREMELY rude and not helpful at all. We financed the car so we didn t get the title right away. All she would say is if you don t have a title you don t get a tag. She was not helpful at all on how to go about getting it all worked out. I ended up calling the office in Manhattan where the lady there was so nice and helpful and I m thankful for that. Geary should really hire someone with good interpersonal skills. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

In light of COVID-19 measures were i olace to reduce risk of contraction or spreading. The staff were very polite and worked quickly to accommodate everyone. Thought the wait was long, I was in the seat processing my renewal and out of it all within less than 10 minutes.

They have a 6ft distance set up, no scowling at you if you can t wear a mask. Their staff ( Brenda this time) is always kind and knowledgeable. Registration was quick and easy. They handle their business and covid exceptionally. Such a gem for Junction City

It took a long time to get through but the customer service of the clerk was superior. She was very nice and if she didn't have an answer she would find someone to help her.

Out of all the MVDs I've been too, this has to be one of the fastest and most friendly place I've been too. I've been in twice and have been seen almost immediately and not once did I deal with any unforeseen boloney (bologna for you grammar nazis). The employees are patient and understanding as well as knowledgeable with military.

No problems here I had all the right paperwork but my proof of insurance, but I had it on my phone and they accepted it, that's awesome in my book because I didn't have to come back, however I forgot my debit card and had to come back anyways but they saved my progress and all I had 5o do was pay when I got back.... nice

After spending days on the phone and getting no where. I had to go to the country treasurer office in person. I still got no answers or documents for a tax special on a property I purchased in 2018. That's located in the middle of Junction City. That supposedly I'll be paying until 2023.I would think you should be able to supply me some type of documentation.This city's taxes are a ridiculous and the tax payer are footing the bill.

Whom ever is in charge of answering the phone calls is TERRIBLE. Called six different times and nobody answered. Stopped by last week and didn't seem like all clerks were busy.

Been here enough times. Always rude, inconsiderate employees that work here. They treat everyone like dirt. If you're military, all of the staff does not want you at their window. Speaking of staff, most are talking in the back and maybe two or three are actually working. Tax payer's money being thrown in the trash.

Numerous times I've tried calling ahead of time (so I won't waste time going there and not being able to do something) and as I wait for a rep to answer the phone, the "all reps are currently busy" guy comes on telling me so. Like, don't you have anyone to,answer the phone for those who are busy? In sure this is an ongoing thing with others as well.

It's hit or miss with this place. Had issues with vehicles and home onwership in ks. Got rid of the houses and fixed something things I got overcharged on like fees and excessive misscaculated tax. Refunded over 4k because they will try and get what they can do make sure you know INS and outs before going there.

My sincere kudos to the Geary County DMV. Even with this COVID bs, I was able to renew 5 license plates in 35 minutes from the second I walked in the front door, to the second I walked out. Wed May 27, 2020 @ 10:30-11:05

The clerk that helped me was very friendly. She even watches Star trek. I did not have a long wait.

Very helpful staff. Provided guidance and required forms for a vehicle title over the phone and were extremely professional in the office. Being close to post they are very accustomed to military situations.

I have been to a lot Motor Vehicle offices around the country and so far this one has been the fastest. The staff actually looks like they want to work here, always smiling and helpful.
