Visiting Iola and we had a transmission problem with our minivan. The folks at Iola were able to get us the parts from Detroit and fix our transmission. They were great to work with and have shown us that they stand behind their work! I highly recommend them! Dennis Rice, Glendale, Arizona

A couple years ago they replaced the transmission in my car at 1/3 of the price I was quoted at the Ford Dealership. Very happy with their work!

I'm new to iola and this was my first time here. It wont be my last though, he's earned a customer for life. He was visibly VERY busy (talking on two phones at once, ordering parts online, scheduling repairs and still turning wrenches) he was still able to carve out a bit of time for a quick diagnosis on my truck. He explained what he found and how it relates to the symptoms its been having, and got me on the books for next week!

Whatever you do, find somewhere else to bring your vehicle, only bring it to this shop if it s literally your last resort. The owners are rude, it takes 3 plus months to get your vehicle repaired. If you call on the phone expect to have any questions to be met with an aggressive tone. This is a very unprofessional led business. Only use this place as a last resort.Service: Transmission

Justin was professional, knowledgeable, honest, and helpful. Our family couldn't have asked for a better mechanic. We will definitely continue to take our vehicles to him when they are in need of servicing. He answers questions over the phone, gives us options, and finds hard to locate parts. We have been extremely happy with the level of service we have received from Iola Transmission Shop.

I've known Justin for more than 30 years. I've seen him race, then build race cars, and become a champion. I've never seen him be anything but humble. He brings expert knowledge, customer service, and solid craftsmanship when it comes to his business, Iola Transmission Shop. We bring him vehicles from South KC, because it's worth it!

Reasonable price & fast service. Called the shop on a Wednesday, dropped off my vehicle Thursday evening and it was finished the next Monday evening. The owner gave me a warranty certificate and explained what it covered and the length of the warranty period.Great experience. Highly recommended if you need a transmission replaced.

Justin seems to genuinely care about his customers and does everything he can make you feel comfortable about your decision to use him for your transmission repair or replacement. He does a quick and efficient job.

They do amazing work in a timely manner. They also notify you first and go over everything that needs to he done and make a plan to accomplish everything that you want done. They give you updates. It is nice to see a shop who still cares about there work and customers.

Justin is the best mechanic in Southeast Kansas. Very knowledgeable and updated on all latest mechanical needs. I ve taken my SUV to him for all my repairs. Highly recommend Iola Transmission Shop.

Such a wonderful experience here. Was very kind and on time even went out of their way to tow my vehcile to their shop and did all of the work within the same time and on time. So happy with the work and the great experience Thabk You so much Iola Transmission defiantly found our long time service team!

For the past 2 years my whole family has used Iola Transmission. The new owner really strives to take care of his customers. We also price check and he is always cheaper then the competitors. We also like how he takes pride in his work and keeps his shop immaculate! We would recommend Iola Transmission every time!

I have taken both of my vehicles to Justin and have been impressed with his knowledge and diagnosis of the problems. And on his quick turn around of getting things fixed. Great all around mechanic!

Brought in a car needing a transmission change, they quoted me 2 days $400. Got my car back on day 16, $700. Window doesnt work now, it makes noise while driving and the steering wheel is out of alignment. Didn't bother putting covers back on and left the interior greasy.

I took my van to him and asked him if he knew how to fix Transmissions he told me yes he had my van for about 4 days I got it back the damn thing still didn't shift and then home took it back and he said he didn't know what was wrong as a mechanic left then a day later I asked him if his mechanic was back and he said his mechanic quit and he didn't know how to fix the transmission all I want to know is why you would tell me you know how to fix something when you don't I spent $688 and all I got back was $200 if I were you I would never bring any vehicle to this business
