The wait time is insane. 4 hours for a headlight restoration. Independence has always had this issue so its not new. If you have the extra time go to Bartlesville they get you in and out with no issues.Here once again, and even though there's hardly anyone it's a 3 hour wait. Endless people coming to get their car that was suppose to be done an hour ago, they've not even started! Walmart stop being cheap and hire more people!

Asked for an oil change new air filter and new front wiper blades... ummm they did the oil change said I had refused the air filter and did not put wipers on my car they also did not fix my oil usage thing so it still says I have 7% usage left I told the lady I was going on a long trip and was very important that these things are done. So I had to spend extra ti.e going back to Walmart to get the wiper blades and that is not a good way to spend less or live better

The worst service ever. Need to fire all and start over. Service is horrible. Service desk rep just seems rude. Techs off talking to people taking smoke breaks between cars. No motivation at all. Been waiting for oil change for close to two hours with only 3 cars ahead. Not the first time with poor service. Maybe you should close auto care if your not gonna take it serious.Service: Oil change

It's a hit and miss. Sometimes I have really good quick service, other times no. Yesterday, Feb 21, 2023, I went in at 8:30 am for an oil change. I was told there was one worker and until more came in, no one could get any service. I was thebonly customer. There was also a paper sign on the register that said that staff was short, so they were only doing tires and oil changes. I was told that 9am, more people were supposed to be there. I shopped a bit, at 8:57 am I left, other workers still hadn't shown up. Walmart: If you don't have reliable help, shut it down. I wasted my time when I could have gone somewhere else. It's not fair to dump all the work in that department on one mechanic, including shelf stocking. They didn't go to school to stock a shelf. Hire better or shut it down. It's ridiculous. I'm only giving it 3 stars because the employee was helpful and apologetic.

I called today to ask about an oil change. When I said I would drop it off, she said "good, because its going to take a while". When I asked how long a while was she said a few hours. I asked if that meant three hours and she still couldn't answer me. I understand that issues come up when working with vehicles, but she couldn't even give me a rough estimate on how long it will be. Single mother's can't be without vehicles for an unknown amount of time. They need better customer service, period.

Literally called up there the day before to get an oil chance they go on about how it s ganna be a four hour wait but you can come in tomorrow witch is sunday. So I went up early thinking to get an oil change nope they go on to tell me there not enough people to do it an you ll have to come back tomorrow not to mention there two guy who just got done with a vehicle and there nobody in line for an oil or anything. For being a Walmart auto center they should really find reliable people who wanna help since it being a small townService: Oil change

I got there before 8 am was the first person there and was told that they couldn't balance my tires until 10 am and the bays remained empty until 8:40 while they stood around and discussed the schedule multiple times. One customer already left in disgust due to all staff standing around and not accomplishing anything.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Manager is unapproachable. Desk service was good and seemed to have a quality answer for most questions asked. Service is entirely way too slow. Set of 4 tires took and hour and forty five minutes. I arrived at 7am and was not helped until about 7:15. I understand the protocols they have to abide by but someone needs to mangage this area a little better.

The first time I went there for new tires it was pretty good. I did ask for new valve stems but they voted against it I guess so check your invoice before you leave. And if you have tpms check that too because one of mine is off now. The last time I went there to have a hole patched it took well over an hour which should not have happened since there were three guys standing around talking and none working on the tire. I will go back in the future because when they actually work they do an ok job for the price. When they finally decided to do something other than hang out the tire job took like 15 minutes. It's holding up great.

Went there to get an oil change, got told it would be an hour and 30 minutes, I waited showed up to get my car just to be told they couldn t do my oil change cause they didn t know what oil to use(Um what?), so I went to get help and a lady helped me and said she found what oil I needed and they d get my change done I walked to subway came back and they told me they pulled my car out and I have to wait another 45 minutes. Worst customer service ever I waited 2 hours for no oil change!

I had a tire go bad while hunting.The staff was friendly and helpful. They got me in, and out quick. Just happened to have what I needed. Replaced all 4 tires while there.

Great service ALWAYS at this walmart auto center. I was slightly disappointed that you could not make an appointment but had to do first come first serve only. It would be much better if you didnt have to just come and wait if they are busy but could instead schedule your car care services and needs. Very reasonably priced and honest to your needs. Good auto store.

Just FYI they close at 5pm not 7pm!!!! We showed up at 5:05 as they were leaving they said yep we close at 5. When I asked why it showed 7 in the website. They don t know have a good day!Service: TiresService: Tires

Tire & Automotive says battery is good & completely charged but yet wont start 1 of 3 vehicles. Dont buy batteries from Walmart. They test good battery 92% of the time but yet they aren't good batteries cause they are detected.

Sometimes there's a pretty long wait and they don't always listen if you give any special instructions. There is a truck to shutting my door and usually when I walk into the parking lot after my service the door is open out in the parking lot.

Just need a lawnmower tire mounted and it s been over an hour. How hard is it to use the little blower thing to pop the tire on the bead. Takes like 1 minute. But, I guess since I don t have one

Wish I could rate a zero. Called and asked a wait time they said 1 hr. I was in the parking lot about to come in. Got inside and was told 2 hrs. How did 1 hr grow to 2. Worst customer service always slow.

My son goes to school in Indy and he took his car there for a tire and they went out of thier way to take care of him. The service manager did a great job.

Terrible service!!! Manager ignores everybody. Waited 3 hours before they got me in. Was very slow that day. I recommend you find a better shop.

When you go here don't be in a hurry. Usual with time is well over an hour hence why four stars. But the work is good.

Walked in this location at 10 am stood at the counter for 10 minutes and not one employee greeted us. Of course 3 of them walked by us looking like we weren't there. Absolutely unacceptable customer service!

Hard to contact by phone...put on "hold" and no answer...forget to give you your old tires...go to Ashcraft and get "hometown service", it's worth the price to get real professional service!

Never have time to get you in either they are short handed or tell you to come back at a certain time and when you do it's an hour wait
