These guys are genuinely the best. I have never felt more comfortable leaving my car with someone and I have never had someone take care of my car as well as they did. They were professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I highly recommend stopping here, whether you re from out of town like I am, or a local.

Chris was awesome and helpful. He kept me updated and informed on what he was doing with my vehicle and even finished the job earlier than he expected. This was extremely helpful for someone who was just in town visiting.I would recommend Good Guys to my friends and family.

I've taken vehicles in a couple times, and I was satisfied with their work. I knocked off a star because their phone etiquette leaves something to be desired sometimes, but if you can get past that, they do good work.

Chris at Good Guys Automotive got me in when no one else in town (or NEAR town) could look at my car for weeks. Not only that, but he fixed more than was asked of him (I brought it in for suspected alternator issues, which he replaced, AND he replaced a belt on it for just a bit more, fixing a terrible squealing noise it was making for me, too.) Then, I called him right back and brought the car back in to have him put it up on the lift to see if he could diagnose the loud exhaust problem for me, which he squeezed into his busy day, and free of charge. While he couldn't fix the exhaust problem, he diagnosed it for me, and sent me out the door with two recommendations for muffler shops AND directions, totally free of charge. I absolutely recommend these guys. Do not even bother calling another shop!Service: Engine repair

My car was recently serviced and I truly appreciate that Chris did not try to "up-sell" the potential of other issues. He was clear and honest about the problem and seemed genuinely concerned with tackling the right issue, the right way, the very first time. As someone who doesn't have extra money to put into unnecessary repairs, I am grateful for that type of service! I highly recommend Good Guys!

I've gone to good guys auto a couple of times now. Should go more, but we keep pretty busy. Both times I've needed in somewhat quick and was able to make an appt within a weeks time to get looked at for what would need done/cost estimate. The work was quality and done correctly for the bits that I know enough about to tell. The amount of time it took to do the repair work from the time they got the go ahead to completion was in a very timely manner. (Remember that some things dealing with automotive repairs can take over a days work to complete, and that most work isn't going to be as quick as an oil change.) The cost was not jacked up. It was a fair price. The repair slip shows what was done, parts needed and time taken to complete. When broken down and looked into the parts prices were fairly competitive and maybe somewhat cheaper than elsewhere. Again time was very good. And the labor prices are on par with what you would expect to get from a good mechanic/technician. Well done.

I am single woman traveling and was having battery problems. These guys got me in replaced my alternator very quickly. Great service, fair price, quality work.

These guys were great, not just good guys. Professional work and timely service. Water pump went out of our 1994 E350 7.3 diesel 628 miles away from home. No one would even think about fixing it until later in the week (when I told them what I was driving) Van's are difficult to work on but Jason at Good guys automotive didn't hesitate at all. They had the water pump replaced in 3 hours and we were back on the road for less than $450. Thanks to these "Good Guys" we made it home with no problems.

Working in the Independence, Ks area and developed an coolant leak behind the timing gear cover. Dropped it off Thursday morning, they diagnosed it and repaired it and had me back on the road at 1:30 pm Friday so I could get home for the Memorial Day weekend. Their work also comes with a free 12 month/12,000 mi FREE warranty on parts and labor. Thanks guys for the great & timely work. Also it was done at a reasonable price, no gouging!

Chris is knowledgeable, friendly and explains things in a way you can understand. He always gives me a more than fair price and is very very quick. I highly recommend this shop! I've gone to him for years.

Having transmission shifting issues and engine light was on. Chris replaced a worn shifter assembly and traced out some electrical connection issues between the computer and transmission to get the shifting issues solved.
