I purchased a 4Runner here. been looking for one for several months and went out to purchase one 3 months ago and discovered lack of required features like, remote start, no auto head lights, no jbl sound system, no sunroof, and still 50k So I had to leave and wait some more. It was between limited and TRD pro trim to get what I needed. my heart wanted the pro and my head needed the limited, finally my head won the battle. Memory seats and air conditioned seats with mostly on road set up was most practical and the new underground color made it happen. Craig Brown was in constant communication and putting up with me throughout that time. Chris in finance met my expectations and got me an acceptable rate and didn t put too much pressure on the add on options so it was a comfortable, quick, and easy experience. I was in and out within a few hours since trade value negotiations took place before arrival. This vehicle wasn t even on the lot they had to trade for it and bring it in. I live in Wichita and love Toyota products so this dealership is really the only smart choice. Yes you spend more than you should with the high doc fee, but you can get what you want and don't have to play games and get ripped off like some other local Toyota dealership I won t speak of. I purchased a Highlander out here in 2018 and it was also a decent experience. If you want a Toyota and live in Wichita or Hutchinson area, contact Craig Brown and he will be happy to help you for a few days or even a few years!

I live in Massachusetts, and while I did not purchase a vehicle from Midwest Toyota in Kansas, I did end up buying a 10 year / 125,000 mile warranty for our 2024 Sienna there! The dealer where we purchased our vehicle offered the warranty, but I declined. I found out about Jerry Johnson and Midwest Toyota after the fact in a couple online forums ... all the good things are TRUE about this guy! :)Jerry's price on the warranty was HALF of the local dealer's $4,000 price. Thank you, thank you Jerry! Add this to your long list of stellar reviews.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing the 6-year 100,000 miles Toyota Factory Extra Care platinum Zero Deductible Warranty for my 2024 Grand Highlander, and I must say, Jerry Johnson at Midwest Toyota went above and beyond to ensure I received the best deal possible. Before contacting Jerry, I was offered the same warranty service at the Toyota Woodbridge Virginia store for an astonishing $4,210. However, Jerry, from all the way in Kansas, provided me with the same exceptional coverage for only $895!Jerry's responsiveness and professionalism were unparalleled. He promptly took my messages and phone calls, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Despite the distance, I felt well taken care of, as if I was right there in Kansas. Jerry's dedication to customer satisfaction and his ability to offer such a significant discount truly set him apart.I cannot thank Jerry enough for his hard work and the tremendous savings he provided me. If you're in the market for a Toyota and want a warranty service that exceeds expectations without breaking the bank, look no further than Jerry Johnson at Midwest Toyota. His service is a testament to the quality and value Midwest Toyota offers to its customers. Thank you, Jerry, for making this experience so remarkable. Your effort and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and I'm truly grateful for everything.

If you need an honest and reliable person to take care of your vehicle then Jerry Johnson is your man. Kept in touch the entire time and answered all my questions. I walked away knowing I paid the best price that no dealer could match in my area. Would do business again with him, no doubt.

I was searching for a Toyota extra care warranty. Jerry J was able to get me the platinum warranty for a great price. He was fast, professional, and extremely helpful when I had any questions or concerns. Highly recommend Jerry. Seems like he has a real passion for what he does.

A Deceptive Experience at Midwest Toyota Beware of Overcharging TacticsMy first-time buying experience at for a Toyota was far from satisfactory. The discrepancy between the car's sticker price and the dealership's website was alarming, and the salesperson's explanation only added to the disappointment.Michael Cole, the salesperson, claimed the lower sticker price was outdated and justified a much higher cost due to the vehicle's alleged unavailability and a year-long waitlist. As a first-time buyer, I fell for their tactics, only to realize later that I had been overcharged by $6,000.This dealership's lack of transparency, deceptive pricing practices, and the blatant overcharge left me deeply dissatisfied. I strongly advise potential buyers to be cautious when dealing with Midwest Toyota, as their focus seems to be on maximizing profits at the expense of customer trust and satisfaction.

Service department is terrible! Scheduled a week in advance so they would have all the parts- They admitted to putting them on another car- so I have to come back! REALLY?

Took our old Camry in because Toyota sent us a letter saying they would repair the peeling paint. Midwest Collision called said they got the approval so I took it in. They had it for three weeks and I received no communication they painted everywhere but where the paint is peeling. When my wife picked it up they just told her Toyota won't pay them to paint plastic. I have tried to call and left messages. They will not call me back. They charged Toyota $6499.39 for painting a $4000 car. This place appears to only care about their money. This didn't help me and did help Toyota only helped their bottom line. Great product too bad their representation is so bad.Update to this review: 12/1 I called this manager after seeing the response. It goes to the message machine and guess what??? Three days later and no reply!!!! The bad service is a whole new level here.

I am giving only 4 stars as I have not made a purchase, yet. However, I have purchased many cars and trucks over the years and dealing with Craig Brown has been one of the most pleasant I have experienced. His communication is prompt, his answers are honest and he is transparent. He also is very knowledgeable about the vehicles he sells. For those who might be unhappy that there is a markup over MSRP- I feel your pain; however, I do not feel it is unethical and I think their markup is fair. Overall production is down, but the cost of operating a business is higher than before. There is also supply and demand. There is more demand than supply, currently and that drives prices up; same as homes that sell above their listing price, often. Craig was very upfront about their pricing and he has worked hard to find me a vehicle. I am optimistic and look forward to continuing to work with him. I expect I will write another review with 5 stars once we find a vehicle and complete the sale.

Very happy with my 2023 Toyota Tundra 1794 edition & had a great buying experience with Fernando. The service department took great care of it on my first oil change.

I have come in on multiple occasions, the first occasion I brought my Lexus in for a diagnostic on an electrical issue. Jim Turner was very rude and acted like he did not want to life a finger to help me through the process. All call's were very brief and non informative. The second occasion I had to return due to them misdiagnosing my vehicle and still charging me for the diagnostic. I had to nearly beg Jim to come out into the parking lot while I used my body weight jumping up and down on the door frame to simulate the suspension clunk. He still refused to believe that there was an issue, but after I continued to convince him he they finally diagnosed it as a loose rear sway bar. The third occasion happened just recently as I came in to schedule an oil change, upon approaching Jim's desk as he was the only Toyota advisor there at the time, I stood at his desk waiting for him to help me. He proceeded to ignore my very existence for about 3 minutes even after I said "Hello", finally he doesn't even turn his head from his computer and simply says in a grouchy irritated tone "Question?". He seemed extremely annoyed that I was needing to schedule a service appointment. He was very irritated the entire conversation, he acted like I was inconveniencing him and as if my business was not wanted and was simply unwanted. Jim has been extremely rude on multiple occasions, and obviously hates the fact he has to deal with customers. Would not recommend. I will be going to the ends of the earth from now on to avoid Jim, I wouldn't even come to this dealership if it wasn't the only in town and such a drive to eddy's in Wichita. Hope my review gets taken seriously, I have listened to multiple complaints from friends that I know have dealt with Jim.

Wanted to post less but it is what it is. Waited for over 2 months for a Toyota Corolla Hybrid. Car delivery kept getting pushed back. (AT LEAT 3 TIMES) Even put 1,000 dollar deposit on it. We had to reach out to find the status of delivery. Even had price raised 2,500 and was told it should have been 5,000 over MSRP. Agreed to pay the 2,500 but never received updates on delivery unless we asked. Lost our deposit so never for your protection don't one down. They just kept pushing things back and blaming supply chain. We ended up getting a hybrid SUV that was on the lot from another company. Happy now and have an AWD Hybrid Tucson. BE careful of so called supply chain problems with this company? They even tried to have us sign papers before the car arrive just to take our trade in get get us hooked on a loan. Messy Messy

I was shopping around for a Toyota Extra Care Platinum VSA for my vehicle. After reaching out to four different specialists that sell this particular VSA, Jerry Johnson was the only one that would return my call.Once we connected on the phone, I provided my vehicle information and we wrapped the transaction in less than 10 minutes. Jerry's professionalism and politeness sets the standard. I'm going back to Jerry for my future VSA needs.

I was considering the purchase of an extended warranty for my Sienna. Jerry (Johnson) was great to work with. He answered all my questions, gave sound advice and returned my calls in a timely manner. Jerry understands Customer Service very well. I will certainly refer family and friends to Midwest.

First off the Toyota person is rude on the phone he can t seem to answer my question I was asking him.Second I had to take my Toyota for an engine maintenance light got charged for an engine oil change that was supposed to take the light off. Later on that day it came back on & I had to take it back & they supposedly fix the issue. I used my car the following day & I noticed it came back on & I took it back & they told me they had reset the computer but guess what the next day it came back on. This time they want me to leave my car & actually get it check out. Turns out it was a coolant valve thing. I m not sure why they couldn t just check my engine out the first time I took if it was turning on for an engine maintenance.Lastly if we want a copy of what the car needs & how much it s going to be why can t we get it? Is it too much for you guys to spend on a copy of a paper?

Called a week ahead to schedule an appointment to get a window seal fixed on Saturday. Drove 1 hour to get the work completed and they tell me that the technicians who do the work aren't there only the lube techs. So now I have to miss work and drive another hour to go get it fixed.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for my experience with Craig Brown at Midwest Superstore (Toyota) in Hutchinson. I found the car I wanted and Craig was so easy to work with over the phone! In this market, finding a dealership who will work with you over the phone is almost unheard of, and Craig (and Monica) were both extremely helpful. I was able to pick up my new Toyota Venza today and couldn t be happier. If you are considering buying a Toyota - go see Craig. Hands down, easiest, fastest, and most hassle-free experience ever! Monica was absolutely delightful as well!

Been searching for a V6 Camry for under 10,000. Finally one popped up at Midwest. My mom and dad have been buying cars from them for years. So it worked out. My mom and dad said they were great to work with. They held it for me until a Saturday. I really liked that they did that. A couple negatives. The guy that took care of us was a little short and not real friendly. I would say a professional salesman. Wouldn t work on the price at all and a little pushy. Didn t talk to us unless it was business. However all and all not a bad experience but not a great. I would shop there again for sure no doubt. Maybe with a different guy. Love the car however so that makes up for it.

I bought a used truck. One day off the lot and the dash got an error message. No one at the dealership could assist because they didn't have any records on the truck and salesman wasn't calling me back. They mentioned that the truck may have come from a sister dealership, so I called them. They were super helpful and explained everything to me, even sending me the last information when they serviced the truck, something I asked the salesman for repeatedly. That information also gave me the truth behind what was done, rather than what I was told was done. Typical used sales experience. Finance guy was good, thorough and helpful.

Had a good experience here. Didn't get the price down quite as low as we wanted it, but they were willing to negotiate a bit so that helped! Truck is nice! Our salesman was nice (I've never met a rude salesman though, they need their money!) No complaints at this point.

I have never had a good experience at this dealership. Every visit over the last 3 years has involved poor customer service, disrespect, shoddy work and ends with repeated visits to get simple repairs done right. The most recent visit is typical: I made an appointment for regular servicing of my 2015 Camry. I arrived on time for the appointment, and was told it would take 1 hour for an oil change and tire rotation. I was there waiting for 2 1/2 hours. No one communicated with me about the delay, and no one apologized for the delay and inconvenience it caused. My car was returned to me filthy! There were numerous grease spots on my cream colored leather interior where the mechanic had touched with his dirty hands and boots. I was so upset that my car was returned to me yet again in this grimey condition. I came home and spent 2 hours detailing my interior, except for the large grease spot on my carpet. My husband took our Toyota back up to the dealership so that they could see the grease stain and make it right. They made pathetic excuses for how that could have happened, and refused to apologize or take any responsibility. (They did give my husband a card for a free car wash, but I don t have any confidence in this place and the work they do.) The worst part is that the next day I noticed that my newly serviced car now was leaking oil! My husband called the general manger and asked him to address it. He sent someone to get my car and left me a loaner, so I thought maybe I would finally get good service. My car was returned and the only thing said was that the oil spots I noticed must have been old. Again no accountability, responsibility, apology, or follow up from the service manager or the general manager...and my car is STILL LEAKING OIL!!!I have really tried to make it work with this dealership. Shame on me for trying to keep it local. Midwest Toyota Ford is the absolute worst place to take your vehicle for any maintenance or repairs. Even under new management, avoid this place - it s a waste of time and money.

Jerry Johnson is THE guy to get a VSA (vehicle service agreement) on your new-bought (up to 3 years old) Toyota. He's the most knowledgeable I've talked to (dealership stammering usually means "I don't know" and I've called around to other dealers and... they don't know). Jerry knows the products (the cars and the warranties). I joked I should have bought the car from him and it sounds like he can sell you the car too.

I was traveling thru the area after picking up a new camper in Great Bend. I needed a 15,000 maintenance service and a new tire on my 4-Runner (that I love!) This place...not so much. The backstory is long ...but they didn t have the tire in stock that matched those on my vehicle. They were going to look for one. I called around Great Bend and found a Bridgestone dealer that said he could have the tire for me the next day, that there were 4 at a wholesaler in Wichita...but that the dealer could probably get it same day...because closer and such. So I call back the dealership ...give them this info 1 1/2 hours after my initial call to them, with the name of the wholesaler in Wichita. I d rather do it all at once....since I would be unloading my 17 ft camper in the Toyota parking lot for the service and reloading after. When my service was almost finished I said how much is the tire ...I was told my bill was $280 and some change...I said I expect a discount for helping to find the tire...the service guy said he could give me $15...I said I want 10%. (The shop in Great Bend was going to charge me less)And I was the one that called the Toyota Service department with the info on the 4 available tires. I had done their job for them! He said he could not give me 10% I said then go get me someone who can ...he stormed off the podium with my paperwork in his hands...left me standing there...came back and says the Service Manager would not approve it. I said I want to talk to the manager myself. So he stormed off again and I followed him this time. A guy with the name Tim on his shirt was sitting at a desk...he did not stand up when we entered his office...unprofessional, just like the service guy. Tim said Parts would have to approve it ...and we all went to parts...where they went inside and I was left at the window, I could not hear the conversation. But, I had been to Parts on my arrival to check on the status of my tire and the young woman In Parts, would not look at me or address me personally ...she talked to me through the guy sitting at the Parts desk. Now ...she wouldn t look at me or address me, again ...she did manage a few eye rolls during her discussion with the Service Manager about my discount .In the end they gave me the $28 discount. I told them it was shameful what they put me through, to do the right thing. They should have offered it...and I never should have been treated the way that I was...no customer should. And anyone taking your money for a service should look you in the eye. The Service guy couldn t even do that! (Nor the girl in Parts). They act like that podium is some kind of temple.$28A pittance, but it was the point.Bad business practices and treatment here, I would never go back.Glad I am just passing through. I would drive way out of my way to avoid this place.
