Diesel Services. Matt's Auto took on a large job for me and kept me informed along the way. As with any diesel job, items come up that can be dealt with as we go through the build. Matt kept me informed and gave me updated estimates when anything popped up.Appreciate this location and I'll definitely do business with them again in the future.

Competent. Fair. Invested time making sure I understood what was wrong with my car, when other mechanics claimed they already knew what was wrong with it, just from hearing the symptoms, and wouldn't give me the time of day, saying they couldn't find time in their schedule to fix that issue. Matt looked into it thoroughly, and it wasn't that issue at all. Answered all my questions and concerns without ever losing patience.

We recently had Matt s Auto service our RV generator. This was our first time working with Matt and his team. We were extremely pleased with our experience. The price more was reasonable, they finished it quickly, and the people were friendly and easy to work with. A great experience. We had front wheel bearings and brakes replaced. Matt was very honest and didn't do any work that was not needed. The price was reasonable and the workmanship was great.

This is my personal opinion. I have known Matt for years. If you are looking for honesty, and fair pricing take your vehicle to Matt Auto.

My husband generally does all of our automotive repair work at home, but we found ourselves stranded in Hutchinson without any tools or diagnostic equipment and a truck that would not start. My husband had the battery tested, switched fuses and that was the extent of what he could do. It was snowing and icing and raining on him so we called just about every auto shop in Hutch and Matt could get us towed and into his shop that day. Although we didn't hear from them and we had to call them, I'd say that is about the only "complaint" (if it's even a complaint) we had. In reality, they were where they needed to be, working on our vehicle and not on the phone. They found the starter was the problem, bought the best starter they could find (which is awesome because you do NOT want to replace a starter again that seems to be under this thing, around that thing, tucked behind another thing, and wrapped around another thing requiring complete disassembly of the entire front end, mostly, kind of) and told my husband the 2 ways they were going to try to replace it (one less expensive than the other... if it worked) and then were able to do it the less expensive route. Then "Matt" (I'm assuming) spent some time with my husband talking about some general maintenance items he recommended. My husband was very pleased with their work, knowledge, for taking the time to give advice and for getting us in quickly and back on the road again. That says a lot about Matt's Auto! We highly recommend using them for any car repair or maintenance you might have.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've taken two of our vehicles to Matt's auto, and will continue taking our vehicles to him. Matt takes the time to make sure you understand what the problem/s is/are and what different options are to fix the problems. They are very good, albeit a bit slow. This is not a speedy lube but then Matt does not rush his customers, if you have questions he will answer or find the answer. Good customer service takes time.

Very nice guy easy to work with. He is the old school mechanic type which I love. Replaces a part leaves the old part in car so you can actually see it was replaced. Hands down the best place I have been to in Hutchinson. Will be taking all my vehicles here from now on.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

Went to Matts for a new transmission and since he took a while (6weeks) to replace it he gave me a free break change. So about a week ago i got the brakes done dropped it off at 8am and didnt get my car back till 530pm. And after driving i was hearing a odd clanking sound coming from the front left side on the car. So checked the wheels and figured out that the left front tire was loose all the lug nuts were loose BUT ONE! So glad i have a great friend that knows what he is doing unlike some of these people that call themselves Matts employees! But do have to say Matt is a nice guy but very disappointed!

This shop is awesome I highly recommend this auto repair shop to everyone Matt the owner is one of the most honest mechanic I have came cross so if you are looking for a good mechanic give him call .he will fix your car or truck .

This place is a JOKE. Had my radiator replaced yesterday. They didn't replace any of the old hose clamps, didn't put my grill back on correctly and when I tried to check my coolant the cap wouldn't even come off. Also the coolant was low. This is a huge problem. Mike does nothing but sit in his office, don't let him fool you into thinking he worked on your vehicle. Bob Goertz is the way to go, they will get it right the first time!!! I will never hand money to these two bit mechanics again.

Matt's Auto put a new engine in my truck, at a great price at a time when I was really in the dumps about what happened to my truck, Matt his self was friendly helpful and so is his staff, they made it a little easier parting with my money and have returned there for all of my Automotive needs, a great place with great prices and great people, will do the work that needs to be done right the first time I reckon I highly recommend them.

Terrible experience. Inexperienced machanics. Took 10 days to fix a power window. I will never recommend Matt's Auto to anyone for anything.

Not professional, several of our company trucks were not fixed properly, had seen several comebacks and expensive repairs at another shop who fixed them properly and reversed the added repairs caused by unknowledgeable mechanics
