Motel was recently purchased. I didn't decide to attend the rail ride until the last minute. The former owner wouldn't take reservations over the internet, so I just winged it to Hoisington, KS. I was very surprised to find the motel accommodations that were most comfortable and quiet. The corner shower was a surprise, but worked well as the hot water didn't take long to become comfortable. The motel was priced within reason, and I was most fortunate to find an accommodation. Motel staff was friendly and courteous. I would not hesitate to stay at this motel in the future.

Stayed at this hotel last night. Pleasantly surprised. Sometimes you just never know what you might get in a small town. This place was great! The rooms were spacious, clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have a nice bar to hang out with relatives to have a beer. Again the bar staff very friendly. I would highly recommend.... you won't be disappointed.

This place is gross! Dead and alive bugs in our room, towels were already dirty. Dead bugs in the bathroom. We attempted to have breakfast but there were ants crawling in the cereal dispensers! My youngest daughter has a severe peanut allergy and the muffins with peanuts are mixed with the ones that don t. Common sense people!!! Do not stay here, take extra time and head to Great Bend and stay at the Holiday Inn or drive to Russell and stay at the Fossil Creek. Both outstanding hotels with great service!!!

Overall a decent place to stay. We recently stayed 3 nights, on the last morning we spotted a bed bug on one of the pillows. We stripped the bed and searched the room but could not find any other evidence of an infestation. Your call is this place worth the risk?

Overall great experience on Valentine's Day... especially for the price. I rented one of the rooms with a whirlpool, and it was very clean, and the tub was in great shape. The room had a spacious decent-sized bathroom, tv/cable, microwave, and small refrigerator, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.I didn't spend any time in the lounge, but it did look fairly nice. There were a few people coming in and out of there that weren't staying at the hotel, and there were some pretty loud drunk people down the hall off and on from about 11:00 p.m. - 3:15 a.m.Overall, really good experience and would definitely think about paying for a room there again. For people coming from out of town, free Hoisington pool passes are given out for having a key, and the Hoisington rec center will give a free pass for those who don't want to miss a workout.

When I first walked in the gentleman was in his cell phone. He didn't verify my identity once. He had me sign for the room. Never mentioned the rate of the room, wifi password, or even what room we were in. We got to our room, walked in and was already disappointed. Checked the restroom for cleanliness. Found hair in the tub and on the sink countertop. I was immediately disgusted. Feeling as the room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, I asked for a manager. I was told the manager wouldn't be there until the next day. She put us in a new room and there were hairs in that tub too. I'm not even sure how to handle the situation now.

Great place to stay. Front desk was nice and polite. On the downside, room 105 has a window a/c - heater was extremely loud and unusable. Was it good besides that? Our reply: see you again next month.

This is a really nice place for a very small city like Hoisington. The facility is nice, there is a nice walking/jogging track right there, the city pool is complimentary to motel users, as is a local workout facility. The staff are very helpful. Hard to beat in a city of a few thousand.
