On first topping here, cleanest bathrooms I have seen on my roadtrip since Washington State! But that was just the start of things at this gas station. After filling up and using the restroom, I went back out to start my vehicle. Unfortunately I have bad starter and in the heat it doesn't like to work sometimes. I asked Eric if he would tap on it while I turned the key. As that wasn't working, Gilbert (the mechanic from across the street) just happened to pull in. He offered to change my whole starter RIGHT THERE! Eric said it was no problem to stay parked at the pump while we did this. Gilbert took out my starter, drove me to get a new one, and put it in for me right there! After his shift Eric even crawled under and helped Gilbert finish up. There was a major storm coming through , and we got done JUST as it started to blow and rain. Gilbert even offered me a place to stay while I waited out the storm. He made sure everything was running smoothly when I got back to my rig, and Eric even let me stay there for a few hours to get some sleep before getting back on the road. Thank you so much to these angels on the road:)
