Do not buy a car from these people, they will lie to you to scam you out of your vehicle. We had an agreement and they backed out giving the usual B.S that you'd expect from a dealership from them. We kept our end of the bargain, they failed to do so. Businesses are built on honor, when your word is your honor and a handshake is a deal, not a bunch of B.S. like they gave us. If a dealership lies to you then the dealership CAN'T be trusted. This dealership is definitely in my opinion a complete sham in order to screw you out of your car(money) so they can triple the price and make money.

My son purchased a used pickup from here. I do understand when purchasing used it is as is. At first they tried financing it for him at an interest rate of 16.25%! When I heard that I just said I would pay cash for him. His trade in and the pickup it was around 24k. Not even two weeks after he had it the paint was peeling off. It took over a month before they even tried to remedy anything. The remedy was you can take it to this body shop we use and pay our cost. Fine no big deal but after speaking to the body shop owner he tells me this is a very common problem in this year and model. Of course they don t disclose it at the dealership. A few months later the starter was replaced along with the battery. Not even a year owned and it won t start at all and has to be towed to a shop to get looked it. I feel they took advantage of a young kid just trying to purchase his own vehicle for the first time. They may seem nice but I don t feel like they are honest and don t look over their vehicles before selling.

They have decent vehicles there, But the finance department didn't put a lien holder on the contract and he gives me a USB storage so I can't see the contract I ask kelor to put my bank as lien holder and he didn't, I had to wait half my morning trying to get them to put a lien holder on the sales contract. He was rude but not listening to a customer! Last time I buy a vehicle there!!

We were traveling across the country in our 2022 Gmc canyon & experiencing on board computer problems with the truck. It was late in the day and Scott Plannenstiel took the time and effort to get a tech to look at and fix our truck. God bless him & many thanks to this whole dealership, espically Scott

Purchasing a new car is a BIG deal for us. Jimmy made the process a true pleasure. He connected to our needs and addressed them well. After the sale, he took the time to orientate us to the features and functions of the vehicle in a comprehensive way, while making that process enjoyable. If you're in a position to buy a new vehicle, I'd highly recommend seeking out Jimmy!

I was looking for a small car and called the dealership. Tony contacted me and we spoke on the phone and began text exchanges to view 2018 Mazda touring sedan. Went the next day and test drove the vehicle and purchased outright for cash. On the way home tire tpms light. Came on. Called Tony and they looked at it first thing next day. Josh and techs in service department were right on it and recalibrated the computer and that fixed the issue. Tony is a very honest, friendly and a plus a very funny guy! Stephanie in finance was such a pleasure to work with. As well as Cole, one of the sales managers. If I could give these people and business 20 stars I would. Not only are they honest but they go above and beyond to make the customer feel welcome, comfortable and treated fairly. This is how it s done folks! No high pressure sales or extra purchases pushed, just explained so you can make an informed decision. I highly recommend buying a vehicle from Tony at Brogdens GMC in Hays, KS. I am a customer for life!!

Curt and the service department have always been prompt, fully explain not only what they are going to do but what additional might be needed. In instances where the service was going to take extended time and I needed to be at an appointment or simply at home, they have driven me to where I needed to be then brought my vehicle to me when the work was completed. To me, THAT is service above and beyond but the kind which keeps me tied to this dealership.

Brett and the service department here are outstanding! Our family was passing through during the holidays when someone side-swiped us. We were 600 miles from home with a 5 year old and a 3 year old, with no way to continue. Brett and his department understood our situation and helped us get back on the road within a few hours. Saved us, saved our family, saved our Christmas! Fantastic people and great service.

I haven t received the vehicle yet, but they have made the whole process seamless! Very friendly dealership!Edit: this was the easiest vehicle purchase I have ever made. The dealership made everything so easy, and there was never any pressure. Bonus, my new Yukon is awesome!!!

My husband below (Jared Manning) said it right! Our experience started out great and our salesman was great! But after the day we got our vehicle terrible experience. They have not tried to even reach out and make things right with the HUGE headache they caused from cashing our check before moving money around (causing an over draft fee) and then with our payoff not being right, causing another headache. They have not once reached out or the manager never returned my husbands call.

Started out great. They had the exact vehicle we wanted and the price seemed fair. We traded in a suv, and didn't know the payoff. They said they could look it up and I told them multiple times I wanted to make sure it was the correct payoff because I didn't want them coming back in 30 day saying I owed more after the deal was done. Well that's exactly what happened. I don't know where they got the payoff amount but it was over 2500 short and I had to come up with it a month later when it should have been on the loan. Before that we had agreed they would hold my down payment check for 7 to 10 days so I could move some money around. Even signed paperwork stating that. They cashed it in 3 days and caused me a giant headache. Called the sales manager and could only get an answering machine. Which I left a message and couldn't even get a call back. Will be the last buisness I do with them. No help was offered from them on any of it. UPDATE after the reviews we were reached out to. I wasn't completely satisfied but alot more than before. My parents actually went to them this weekend and found the truck they wanted and had a great experience.

The main reason I use this dealership is because of Scott Wasinger, I have a personal relationship with the owner of the Chevrolet Dealership in town but still prefer to use Brogden's because of Scott's continued attention to detail and ALWAYS making sure that my experience is the best it can be every single time!

I had a family member from out of town come to see you guys for a part. The part was ordered for next day and an appointment was scheduled. When my family member called the next day to double check, there was no part and no appointment. They got on the road and about half hour later my family member got a call and the part came in but still no appointment. I was heartbroken because you guys came highly recommended!

I stopped at the shop because my Suburban was not starting without being jumped. Brent diagnosed my problem as simply being a loose ground connection at the battery post. He tighten the battery post clamp and resolved my problem. The entire process took less than 10 minutes. My thanks and compliments to Brent in the Service Department. I will definitely go back there the next time my vehicle requires service and/or routine maintenance.

Last Friday 03/19/2021 I call the service department concerning an issue with my truck, my son was traveling from Denver, CO and headed to Nashville, Tennessee. A check engine light came on around Colby, KS and he gave me a call. I instructed him to head to Hays, Kansas to this dealership and I call ahead to let them know he was coming in for a diagnostic. After about an hour the service personnel informed him of the code fault and proceeded to them him that the Particulate Filter was bad and would need to be replaced. My son did not agree with the information given and left the dealership. He went to an auto parts shop and had them run a Auto Code Scanner as well and it gave the same code. But the Parts Tech advised him that he cleared the fault and he only needed to drive the vehicle for 100 miles at a speed of 75-80 miles per hour to let the system go into a regen and burn off the excess sooth! He made it all the way to Nashville without any complications and the truck preformed great!!!I'm truly appalled that the service department would not fully explain the correct protocol for clearly the fault and procedure to make the truck go into auto regen mode. Instead they where more than willing to quote him a $5,000,00 bill to repair it!I did receive a call from Brett after I left a message explaining the issue,and heard his side of the story as well. He assured me that they would have never installed such a pricey item without further investigation.Long story short always get all the information and facts prior to giving a customer a quote for work that was not needed. Hope I never have issue in Hays, Kansas. And will never use or refer this dealership to anyone.

I've been a customer at this dealership since 1970 and even though it was recently purchased by Robert Brogden I have so far continued to support it. The Service Dept. continues to do an excellent job and finished my scheduled service in a timely manner.
