If your traveling and this shop is with in your reach stop here..we tried ALL the others but they where kind and thoughtfull I had my 2 dogs.They where professional and fixed what the could in the time alloted. JOE WE MADE IT TO NEWJERSEY THANK YOU.MAY GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY.THE PRICES

I thought this business was good and I thought they did solid work but they cut corners and don t do the work they said they did. I had spark plug issues May 2022 and Brake problems October 2021. I m May of this month I had to redo by brakes on my own with only 10,000 miles and new spark plugs and coils and boots today. The mechanic where I went said nothing had been replaced. Don t recommend this business.

Really professional. Fast repairs got me back on the road the same day! Easier to work with and reasonable prices! Most definitely going there again for anything my car needs.

They are honest and give accurate estimations! We were stranded in Hays for 2 days while our car was fixed up, but Dave s was great. They kept us updated and helped us make an informed decision. It ended up being an expensive fix, but they went above and beyond to make sure we were all set for our long drive home and gave us an accurate estimate about how long it would take and how much it would cost. There was an odd beeping sound when we picked it up, and they took the time to look at it again for us and research to find potential fixes without any extra charge. I hope I never have to come back, but if I m ever in Hays again I would 100% go back to Dave s.

Great mechanic, we're new in the area as of 2022, and needed to find a good place for our cars. Tried a couple of places but stayed with Dave's. Really nice guys that take great care of our vehicles, give us honest feedback and advice on issues, and charge fair rates. Can't ask for more than that.

Mickey and Joe are great guys that do a great job. They give good estimates and try to stay within it. I have been doing business with Daves auto for years and have always been very happy about the work they do. Thanks for the great service and advice would recommend to everyone I know.

Was quoted $400 at DAVIS automotive and DAVES auto quoted me $260 and that with tax and labor for replacing my starter. Dave s will not screw you over when you re in a tough place. They were nice and understanding and will get your car fix as quickly as they can.UPDATE one year later: Still my favorite repair shop nicest people you'll ever meet.

I like that I was able to have a conversation with a friendly knowledgeable staff member about what exactly was wrong with my car.
