We called and asked to pull our semi truck from drifted snow. It was still on the road and the road was fine except small drift in the middle of the road. They were only 3.3 miles away from the truck and wanted to charge $2000. We told them it was excessive and they didn't care. The next day someone came and helped driver for $100. These are people who are happy to take advantage of the situation. Stay away from them if you can!

Had a tire blow on our RV about 2 miles west of exit. Jack & his son didn't hesitate a second to help us out, replaced two tires on the spot at a great price! Great service, even greater people! Very thankful for their kindness and service!

The absolute nicest people! I was on the interstate and my '78 Winnebago was struggling. I wasn't exactly sure what was going on, but was pretty sure it was the fuel filter. I pulled up and Dee was so kind and made sure that my rig got looked at quickly even though it was the end of the day! As her son worked on it, we chatted and she told me all about the town and its history. She even offered to take me into town to check out the opera house, but unfortunately couldn't as Justin was finished with my rig. He thoroughly explained to me what was going on and even took me out to show me where the part was on my vehicle and made sure I had the part number for future reference. He even took the time to take a test drive with my to make sure everything was running smoothly! Thank you so much Dee, Jack and Justin, you saved me :)

Thank you so much for being the nicest, most helpful establishment!! Headed home from Colorado headed to Georgia and we got a flat in Western KS. We have a Porsche GTS and those tires are hard to come by even in the cities lol with towing not being an option we were sunk! Jack s to the rescue!! They had the perfect kit so we could plug the tire. Allowed us to use some of their equipment and helped with tire removal. They checked on us, chatted with us and made us feel welcome and safe in a sketchy situation. With their help we were able to get to our next destination safe and sound. I cannot say enough nice things about Jack & Justin and all the employees at Jack s. Thank you so very much!! And a shout out to Pirelli tires for holding up with a nickel sized plugged hole and a 1 tear in the sidewall, yikes! I wasn t able to snap a picture of the tire when they were replacing it, was a mean hole that went through the tread of a new tire (we just got those new Pirelli s less than a month ago).

Nothing says fun family road trip like having to plug your own tire in front of a full service tire and repair shop. In life you'll find 2 types of workers, those that are eager and ready to work for you and those trying to do as little as possible and waiting til 5 0'clock to go home. This shop refused to work on my tire and recommended that I buy a plug kit and fix the tire myself. I refused to be their customer as I will never buy anything from Jack's automotive. I plugged the tire myself and we drove the remaining 600 miles home to Colorado. If you need help, just keep driving, your better off on your own than trying to get these people to help you.

Rolled into town with semi-major problem, asked for a loaner scan tool and was told there was none. Ok, even though that is a standard in the parts house industry I can forgive that. So I ask if one of their techs wouldn't mind letting me at least scan the truck so I can reevaluate my situation, but the answer was no. For context, when I walked into the store that was devoid of any other customers, I was ignored until I said something to the two employees behind the counter. I get that it is a tiny town, and people literally don't have any other choice, but man at least take some pride in your work.

This man is a hero! We hit a deer tonight with a rental vehicle! We were a party of 11 people and he went so far above and beyond to get us helped and safely off the hwy. He even got an additional driver to get all of us safely to a hotel for the night. I can not express my gratitude enough for this man and his true kindness!!! He was an absolute Godsend tonight!!!

I am so glad that we broke down right at the exit to this small town Sunday night. Jack pulled us off the interstate, parked us by his shop and hooked our camper up to electricity. They ordered the part Monday morning and we were on the road by noon. Super nice people, a nice little cafe and grocery store. Hope I get the opportunity to stop there in the future.

This place was sooo helpful! We blew a tire 3 miles from the exit. We pulled in 30 mins before they closed and Mr. Jack the owner went above and beyond to help us! They didn't have what we needed in stock but he owns his own salvage yard and was able to help us in a pinch,, and he did it all while smiling and making jokes along the way!! I would definitely recommend this place if your in the area. They fix everything.

Our Honda Odyssey started smoking before exit 99 so we pulled over and checked the van. We found transmission fluid all over the bottom of the van and feared the worst. We called Jack an hour before his shop closed and he gave us a consultation over the phone which luckily was that our transmission fluid got too hot and bubbled over. He told us that we should be fine and that if we brought in our van the price of checking the transmission and replacing fluid was a $300 procedure. He was so helpful and showed integrity by helping us out instead of looking to make an extra $300 in the last hour of the day. Thank you, Jack!

After the roads leading up to Castle Rock decimated the undercarriage of my car, I was left stressed and stranded. Jack's automotive came quickly to the rescue and in a matter of a few hours I was back on the road. Jack, Richard, and Justin were all very helpful and I am thankful they were there to come to my aid. While I may never come back to Grainsfield, I hope my future experiences with mechanics live up the standard that Jack's Auto has set.

Had an employee get stuck in the mud 2 miles outside of town. They charged $400 to pull him out during business hours. When I called about how high I thought it was I was told maybe I should buy my own wrecker truck. Do not recommend.

Very friendly, and great repair work. It was more expensive to get my cracked heater hoses repaired then I thought it should've been, by about $100. I don't feel "ripped-off," but I do feel I was somewhat overcharged because I was a "big city" foreigner broken down in a very small town, without many other options.

I ran over something and ruined a tire on a long trip. Jesse postponed his lunch to quickly replace the ruined tire including having me drive a couple of miles so he could recheck the torque on the wheel. Impressive service.

Outstanding service. We had a flat on our Sprinter rv on a Sunday. Jack opened up and replaced our tire. It was bad enough it was on Sunday when he was closed, but it was 95 degrees and he had to change on very hot concrete. Amazing service.

Very expensive and they take their sweet ass time. Plus he didn't want to take my check and I'm sure it was because of my race. His excuse was that they don't take out of "town" checks when his sign hanging on the wall clearly states "NO OUT OF STATE CHECK ACCEPTED". Got charged for 2 hours of labor and half of the time he walked around ignoring me. He spent about 1 hour actually working on my truck.

While traveling I-70 cross Kansas, the roof of our rv decided to peel up and flap in the wind, so we stopped at exit 93 Sinclair station for help. They only sell gas, the office was closed but the repair bays were open. No one offered assistance except to tell us to not block the driveway. After trying to get roadside assistance to no avail, my husband went into the garage and asked if anyone could help him secure the roof. No, everyone s at lunch but there's a Napa AAA garage right down the street. So, we went there, and one very nice Napa man named Justincame out, climbed onto the roof with tie-down straps and secured the roof. One in a million.

I broke down at the Park exit off the Interstate, & this place came within an hour, towed my vehicle to their shop, then let me use one of their loaner vehicles for TWO nites, (so I could complete my travel nursing jobs) FREE of charge. They also let me pay 2/3rds of the bill & held my check for the other 1/3rd, for over a week, until my next payday. I am a single mother, felt so alone until they helped me out. The owner's son is just as kind as he is, as well as the older man at the counter.. Very nice, small, hometown experience, made a bad situation so much better...Vicki Unruh

I broke down near Grainfield at just after 9pm at night, with my dog and pregnant fiance, Jack was there in under an hour. Jack dropped us off at a hotel and took my jeep to his repair shop. Jack picked me up the next morning, at no cost, and took me to his shop. Justin worked on my jeep and I was able to talk with everyone at the shop. In a time of need, feeling very stranded, Jack was a welcome sight and went above and beyond to help us out. I cannot thank you, Jack, Justin, Richard, and everyone else in Grianfied Napa for helping us out, we made it to North Carolina.-JJ

I cannot even start to describe how this business failed in customer service and common human kindness. Our car broke on interstate 70. I was alone with 3 teenager kids. A local man stopped to help. We realized that the situation was worse than we thought and he offered to help us get to the nearest car repair which was Napa Jack's services in grainsfield ks. When we got there the man left and we were left with the Napa people. Nobody really even talked to us when I realized one of the apparently more senior workers was going over the car. When I approached him this is what he told me. He is not going to help us. He has his customers and I should not think that I am any more important than others. Shocked, I asked him again for help saying I am alone with the kids. To no avail. Those people left me in their parking lot hot helpless, with nowhere to go. This place basicaly consist of Napa service, a small store and a few houses; not even a motel there. He told me his workers were too busy but there was very littly activity going on. My only guess is that he was punishing us for using the help of a guy to get to his shop instead of using his towing services. This is a misplaced punishment because I was unaware of local possible tensions and just wanted to have someone fix the car. To cut the long story short - we were stranded in this place for 8 hours - hot, dirty, dehydrated, hungry and growing uneasy. The napa people went in and out and completely ignored us. Our road assistance was unable to help us as well and suggested calling 911. I did. Eventually we managed to get a towing service and at 1am left the parking lot of the most unfriendly business EVER!!!!!! My recommendation is AVOID JACK'S AUTO repair in grainsfield, kansas at all cost. I still do not fully understand what issue these people had with us that caused them to act so heartlessly but I know I am not going to seek Napa services again and my trust in helpful little communities of America is broken.

We were heading to Colorado on Labor Day and broke down. Jack answered the phone even though they were closed. He towed us to the shop and replaced the alternator. He never complained and got us back on the road!

Bob was so helpful with an emergency fix. One of our wipers flew off our van in the middle of some bad weather, and he helped us to find and install a replacement on our unusual car. He was so kind and helpful. We really appreciate It!

We broke down on the side of the road and they were the only shop open. I called to confirm they were still in the shop and the gentleman informed me he was walking out the door for the day. When I told him we broke down he waited for us to drive down. He repaired our tire even though it was late. Wonderful customer service and a genuinely nice little town shop!!

We were traveling back home to MT and had a tire start going bad, so we stopped in the little town of grainsville and found Jack's auto, they were so nice, and they were able to quickly and fairly cheaply get us back on the road. I highly recommend them.

I was having trouble as I was driving through the state with my car. I called and they were immediately able to take a look at it. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. They explained everything in complete detail and fixed me up so I could continue on my journey! I highly recommend them if you are having any problems!

Coming from the interstate with my check engine light on a few miles back I asked if they could help me to read the code on my warning light. Hard of hearing senior talks about having to find his "reader" first, and then comes back saying, he had no time to do it, while 2-4 others in napa overalls walked by. Unbelievable to let someone in distress hanging like this. Avoid this store, add this person picks and chooses who he wants to serve. Ps I'm white female with no unpleasantries. Maybe my covid mask wrapped like a Muslim scarf might have been the problem, which I doubt.
