Terrible stay! I was charged $75 for staying four hours. I had to leave early due to low heat button not working, had to put on high heat which was extremely hot, facility is dirty, could not even open dresser door due to knobs missing, could not understand what front desk clerk was saying, very loud in the room.Website states $54. I realized when I get home was charged $75, called them and told them situation and refused to reimburse me. Very disappointed!

Hotel looks like only a few rooms occupied but when I checked in was given a road side room very noisy from road and sounded like a train. Room and bed was nice.Food & drinks: Food attached to motel was delicious.

We came for a weekend getaway from Nevada. The rooms were great: wonderful AC, comfy beds, quiet, strong shower pressure, fridge/freezer, big TV, and microwave. Staff was awesome. The pool is surprisingly big and nice with lots of lounges. You can t beat the location - you can walk to virtually any restaurant or bar near downtown. We will definitely be back!

I was in Fort Scott, KS, for a birthday party, and we stayed at the Fort Scott Inn. The rooms were very clean and fairly spacious. The most attractive part was the outdoor pool. It was one of the cleanest and clearest pools I've been in. The hidden gem was the restaurant attached to it. I will stay here every time I come back to Fort Scott. I Love This Place

It was a nice little inn to go to for a night while my family and I were in town. The owners were very friendly and answered all of mine and my husband's questions. The rooms were well kept, it included a mini-fridge, microwave and a desk in the 2 bed room we had. Best of all, NO BUGS! No bedbugs, no cockroaches, it was clean and comfortable. It was cheap as well so it was a nice place to rest for the 2 days we were in town. Loved the service.

Pictures aren t accurate. Walked in, the whole place smelled like smokers. Building is a little outdated. There are stains on the walls, lamps, anywhere you can see and more. And to top it off, one of our friends that had to stay here found blood stains on their sheets, and their room phone was not working. I did not choose this place for our group, and won t choose to stay here in the future. The one in charge of our group tried several hotels before we had to go here. We will definitely need to book ahead at another hotel next time, if we ever come back here. Not impressed. Don t recommend.Rooms: Rooms are just plain nasty. Advice to the owners: Clean your sheets or get new ones!

Clean, very basic rooms, all have 1st floor access. The building looks to be well maintained. The parking lot could use some better lighting but access to the building was strictly controlled so I felt pretty safe stopping over to rest during a road trip cross state lines with a bunch of elementary school age children. We didn't try the complimentary breakfast but there were hot and cold self serve offerings with a dedicated dining room and a TV tuned to the local news station. In a localized part of the city but didn't feel like I was in the any inner city gross. Just down the block from the tourist information center. Family run. Desk clerk let me know about upcoming city events and attractions I might want to check out with my family while visiting, very helpful and welcoming which was so nice after hours stuck in the car. Worry free and not too expensive.

Rooms are great. Staff is very friendly and is very accommodating to my needs and requests. Waffles, cereal, coffee are great. Excellent location to downtown and good food at the restaurant. Pool is quite relaxing. Staff allows you to cook on the BBQ grills so I do not have to eat out all the time. Great value for the low cost per night.

Room was clean and comfortable. Owner was very nice. She gave me a very fair rate, even less than the discounts I get for working at a Wyndham hotel. We stayed an extra night even tho we don't live far from Fort Scott. Thank you sweet lady. We had a great weekend.

Not the worst place to go but the building was hot, not just the room (which was really hot). A little bit cheaper than the nicer hotel next door but the breakfast was a joke. Bread cereal, coffee and a gallon of milk. There is a waffle maker but we couldn't find any mix to use. Probably not going to stay here again.

Not real clean, front lobby smelled of strong cigarette smoke, toilet had human wasted and toilet paper to greet me, bathtub was dirty, look like mold or something on wall / ceiling. Tissue cover was rusty. Sheets didn't look clean, towels had stains. Roof of microwave had food chunks. However the heater and TV worked good. I wouldn't come back.

If you're looking for a place to sleep, it was clean and the bed comfortable. The water pressure was the best of ANY motel I've stayed. The breakfast is a joke, and the clientele looked like they came from a flophouse. My favorite was the guy holding the outside door open while smoking in his underwear. Only his underwear.

The room wasn t very clean, the hair dryer , but the beds were comfy, they gave us extra towels no problem, our room was HOTTTT for hours after arrival. We did not have a reservation was a last min trip with the family and called and was able to get in quickly. I would definitely recommend calling a few hours ahead and asking for the AC to be turned on. the tub was missing a stopper which sucks when travel w kids. Room was very 70s vibe. Breakfast was good assortments of food but no juice . With a lactose child it s so hard everyone seems to keep 2%- whole but nothing else for options(this is everywhere not just here) . All in all was ok.

Bed Bugs!!! (Discovered the morning after we checked in and left immediately.) After hiking 14 miles we just wanted to rest - ended up sleeping on top of the covers in our clothes since there was a huge spider we 'off'd' in the dirty bathroom, a broken light fixture in the room, AND questionable stains on one of the head boards and lamp shades. The worst part: when I brought it up to the manager upon checking out: she was rude and refused to check me out since I'd booked through a third party site so she would still get paid for the two nights I had originally booked. She asked why I didn't tell her last night, and the night before I didn't care because I was going to ask housekeeping to clean up the stains and bathroom in the morning but I found bed bugs and I just wanted to leave at that point. I wasn't asking for a refund for the night I stayed. I just didn't want to pay for the second night since I would not be staying. I try to stay at local places rather than chains to support the economies of the towns I adventure to, and not one for promoting negativity but this was terrible.

The stay as quite nice and the facility was welcoming. Comfortable beds and the ac worked great in the room. Only complaint would be our bathroom shower was pretty old and run down. Other than that a great stay for the price. I would recommend if you're needing a budget friendly stay for the night.

Hotel is maybe a 1 star hotel.. no hot tub pool was fine but needs updating titles missing. Room was clean but out dated lampshades were brittle and yellowed. Missing covers on outlets. Tub was missing rail and shower curtain was to short to keep water in tub. Water pressure was great but shower head not secured to the wall. Caulking around sink was cracking and gross. Staff very friendly. As you pull up sign states restuarant and lounge, no restaurant. Continental breakfast as very disappointing bagels were old so were muffins.A little upkeep and maybe worth the $55 charge.

Well the toilet Had poop on it, the shower wasn t clean. The carpet Wasn t really clean and around the edges on the carpet was so full of dust Like it was never vacuumed with the wond And the chair put something in the chair and dust just flys other than that it was OK I just think they need to show the cleaning crew how to clean the rooms unless they really don t care
