Thurston's Plus is one of the best auto shops I have ever been to, they are friendly, fast, their prices are fair and they create a positive and relaxing customer experience. They went above and beyond to ensure that my vehicle was properly diagnosed and repaired, and they excel in communicating with the customers.If you need mechanic work or body work done, I highly recommend the folks at Thurston's Plus, I can guarantee that you will have a positive experience and a new shop to handle all your automotive repair needs!

Words can not express our appreciation to Thurston's for the great help they were. We were passing through from KC to Wichita and were involved in a car/deer accident. We limped into Emporia with our rear bumper area flopping in the breeze. Thurston's interrupted their busy day and without hesitation came out to assess our situation and patch up the bumper so we could be on our way. They are respectful, competent, courteous and went out of their way to assist us. We'd give them 10 stars if we could! THANK YOU!!!

Wonderful experience! I was traveling through Emporia from out of town when my engine light came on. Thurston's got my vehicle in right away to diagnose and fix the issue. Very friendly and professional! I even got to walk my pup around the property. :) Thank you!

We ve had several mechanical repairs at Thurston s. Our experience with them: friendly, honest, reasonable, helpful, reliable, good work and won t try to sell you what you don t need. We ll go back when the time arises.

I had an issue where my window wouldn't roll up and the forecast was full of rain. I wasn't familiar with Thurston's but called because the shop I was familiar with was backed up. They asked me if I could stop by for a quick diagnosis, identified the issue, and found the part in town. They told me they could get to it first thing in the morning despite having plenty of other work in the shop. I dropped my truck off at 7:00, and picked it up at 8:30 with a smaller bill than they estimated. I'll definitely be back when I need more work done.

Beth and Jessi were the bright spot in our frustrating experience of a car wreck. They were super helpful, when it felt like nobody else in the process was. We would certainly use them again. We are from out of town, but wrecked near Emporia, which added to the difficulties... but even though it's unlikely we'd need their services again, they treated us as if they wanted us as customers for life.

Wonderful people, so professional.I'm brought my 2019 Subaru with severe hail damage to the shop.They gave me (the insurance company) and very reasonable quote.I must say that I was pretty skeptical about the result.. I just couldn't believe they will be able to bring the car back to the original state.But the result was absolutely amazing, I couldn't find a single dent or scratch on it.Highly recommended!

I got in a minor fender bender and needed front bumper repair. My insurance company (State Farm) recommended Thurston's Plus, and I am SO GLAD I went there! The staff was impeccably friendly and professional. The estimate was completed quickly, and all procedures, costs, and timelines were explained clearly and in detail. Our estimated 2.5-day repair took less than two days! A young man from Thurston drove me back home after I dropped off my car, and he had the same professionalism. Furthermore, when we picked up the car after repairs were finished, the car LOOKED LIKE NEW. O.O They detailed and cleaned both interior and exterior-- for no charge! I'd definitely recommend Thurston's Plus for anyone looking for repairs, detailing, and a kind, fair service. :)

Excellent service!!!!! My sway bar broke and I took it in. They were nice enough to give me a ride home, got an estimate the same day and they are getting right to work on it. Took away so much stress, so glad I called them and took my car to them! They're very friendly and talk with you as if they've known you for years!

I would recommend using Thurston's for auto body work. I hit a deer on the turnpike with our Honda Civic and it took out my front end. They got my car in the shop in a timely manner and the car was detailed when I went to pick it up. Thurston's did a professional job and they stand behind their work. This is another good example of another good quality Emporia business.

Visited due to deer encounters gone bad but the duo at Thurstons make all better. They are super friendly, helpful and understanding. It may take a little while to get your vehicle taken care of but in the end it s all good! Thank you!

#1 - Super great work!We took a dirty family car in for detail cleaning (WOW) looks like new - what a super great job they did & I will be bringing all my vehicles in for detail cleaning! I recommend them to everyone...

I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone. We were given a ride along and our car has never. I repeat NEVER!!!! Been driven the way the owner of this mom and pop shops drove it. He was redlining the rpms before shifting and grinding gears. We had countless issues with them when they replaced the clutch. Having linkage issues with the transmision after the replacement. Their customer service skills are non existant and return business will not come from us. They fixed things that we did not ask them to fix and then charged us for them. Might I add they broke things that were not broken before in the process and the repairs were half assed. Their so called fixes caused more problems than what they originally set out to fix. They stained our seats and starring wheel with grease and didn't bother cleaning up any of the mess they made in our car during the almost three weeks they had It for a 3 day repair!

My 19 year old son and his girlfriend were on their way back to Iowa from Texas, and I get the dreaded call that "the car is acting weird" Luckily he was close to Emporia Kansas, so I googled Auto repair places and came across Thurston, which had a couple of Good reviews.. So I called and explained where my son was and the issues he was having. Jeff, was like a family member that I didnt know I had, his concern that my son find his location and the offer to go find him if he had any issues finding his shop..Needless to say, Jeff @ Thurstons was able to fix the car the same day and get them back on the road. I HIGHLY reccommend this company if you have any car issues around this part of the state.Thanks Jeff & Thurstons for your professionalism, care and customer service..Your Rock!!

Had an emergency breakdown (misfire) during a cross country trip on the morning of New Year's Eve. No repair shops open, and temperatures below zero . Though they were closed that day, Beth and Jesse took in, diagnosed, and repaired our car. Both were quite knowledgeable, Work was high quality, and completed within the time and price quoted,

I can't say enough good things about Thuston's Plus. All you have to do is drop off your car to be repaired and they handle ALL the rest. No insurance people to talk to or paperwork to file. Always repaired to like new condition. Obvious they take pride in their work!!!

My wife and I were on a trip from Minnesota to New Mexico for college. Our car has been having issues and got hit hard near emporia so we stayed the night and met with thurstons in the morning. They checked out the car and gave us the diagnosis by lunch time. Sadly it was the end for this vehicle. They had a super cheap service charge, called places where we could sell our vehicle and even checked over used vehicles we might by. Definitely a family feel here thanks guys

Jesse and Brent help me out alot with my busses. Today I had a bus that wouldn't start i got it over to THURSTONS, Jesse found that the New Batterys I put in back in March were only pulling 8.75 ramps he also replaced the starter, its awsome that he took the time and effort to help me. Thank you.

Very unprofessional and unnecessary rude from the very beginning. I took my car there to get an estimate and i told them that i wanted the estimate they informed me that that is not how it works they will send it to my insurance company . i told them no that i wanted the estimate and i would decide which body shop i wanted to go to.After a day in half i called to check to see if my estimate was done. I was told that they are focusing on the cars in the shop and do not have time to set in front of a computer to do my estimate. I went else where!!!!

At 3:00, fuel pump broke down on a trip to Minnesota from California at got towed to Thurston's and we are now back on the road at 7:00 p.m. on a Saturday evening! The man came in on his day off to fix the truck. Thanks again.

Speaking to the owner was like speaking to a entitled know-it-all. If you re owner, shouldn t you be professional and know what vehicles are in your shop? Def not recommending this shop to anyone...
