Very clean hotel and GREAT service! My room had a king size bed, but was still so spacious! Bathroom was also clean, fridge and microwave work great, and the heater kept me warm through the snowstorm. The woman at the front desk, Manisha, was so kind and really went above and beyond to make me feel like a welcome guest. Truly a great place to stay!

Very CLEAN hotel, EXCELLENT service, and PET FRIENDLY! My room was quite spacious with a king size bed, the fridge/microwave/heat worked great, bathroom well stocked and clean, and nice quiet area. The woman at the front desk, Manisha, was so kind and really went above and beyond to make me feel like a welcome guest here. Great place to stay if you're looking for a clean, pet friendly place at an affordable rate!

The worst hotel I've been to, the first room didn't have the room made up, or the bed made. Second room was okay until I went to the bathroom, the toilet was thick. On the receipt the total was $64 and on the card they charged $80, Incredible!!!!!

The absolute worst hotel i ve ever stayed in. Rooms are disgusting: covered in dog hair, filth on floor that turned my towel black, pet gnaw marks on furniture, the hallway reeks of cigarettes, & my room was missing a smoke alarm. I had to move rooms twice, once due to cleanliness (which i requested) and the second time at 8PM because the owner who was in India at the time was watching me on the hallway cameras and decided my dog was too large for the room the front desk attendant placed me in (while my dog was beside me). I filed a formal complaint with corporate and was properly compensated and they are initiating an internal investigation on this hotel. Hotel staff was very sweet given the my obvious frustrations not sure why they would work for such a terrible hotel owner! Good luck if you stay here, you ll need it!

This place was relatively inexpensive and reasonably clean. But it does need maintenance. The outdoor pool was closed, which was sad considering that it was August. The air conditioner worked, but was so loud that I had trouble sleeping. And the bright red tape on the door to the adjoining room and the damage to the wall made me wonder.

Extremely low ceilings, tight bathrooms, small showers, low toilets. Breakfast... Kind of? 7AM I was greeted with 1 bagel for everyone in the hotel, coffee, and an empty orange juice container. Nothing in the refrigerator at all.Coin OP washer/dryer available. Coin OP Snack machine near the main lobby.Room 127. Has a super loud refrigerator that made a oscillating tick all night. It sounds like it needs to be replaced. Unrepaired interior damage on the walls inside the room. Bottom trim is coming away from the wall in the bathroom. New shower fixture. Bathroom is so small though. Sink is outside the bathroom (good).Overall, I would stay elsewhere if I had to choose again. If you want a good breakfast, you're not getting it here.

I had to travel through Emporia on my relocation and Emporia was the halfway point. I was very happy with the price of rooms as I just needed a place to rest. The rooms were clean however they had obvious signs it was an older room. The real disappointment was the complimentary breakfast to start another long trip on the road. There was a pitcher of milk and another with orange juice. There were also two choices of cereal, a row of 5 slices of bread and 2 bagels to choose from. There were also a choice of what I felt were little mini muffins bought from a big box store and hostess cupcakes. There were no other options.

I have had a very pleasant stay while residing at this location. Calm quiet rooms, always had plenty of clean towels! Another plus I felt safe inside and out of room, all around great big thank you! Bravo

Breakfast was bad. We were one of the first ones to go. They had cold cereal and 3 slices of bread. A few pre wrapped rolls. Every person that came down to eat was disappointed. I told the owner I thought they would have milk, yogurt, or some fruit. He told me they aren't required to have it. We booked here to save time on the road. So much for that. By the way this is a choice hotel. Never been like this before.

This is a nice place. The rate is fair, no extra charge for our small dog. The manager was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, the a.c. was running when we came in, and the refrigerator was also cold. The bed was clean & comfortable and we found no signs of bugs. The floors are laminate so you know you're not walking around on pee-stains or whatever. The only negative is that it's an older, but renovated motel. The paint could have been done better. But oh, hey, before I forget! Breakfast between 6-9 am was good. Waffles, donuts, bagels, toast, cereal, fruit juice, coffee,, etc. Nice!

This was a very affordable hotel and the owners are kind, generous and attentive. The housekeeping crew is also very responsive and they are lovely to chat with. It is definitely a more downscale hotel with smaller rooms. No pool, gym or in-room coffee pot. The lobby is kept extremely clean but the rooms, although clean, are rundown a bit. You still get WiFi, a fridge and microwave. The free breakfast is quite small although tasted great. I truly was so impressed by the staff though and that means more to me, we will definitely stay here again.

Very clean, great water pressure, new A/C unit. Looks like they've been undergoing renovations.

Upon arriving, the three of us were greeted in an unenthusiastic manner, but we were nonetheless greeted. The check in process seemed to be a lengthy process when compared to the "norm".Upon entering the room, a blast of heat covered my body. The AC was promptly turned on. Overnight, the loud air conditioner, set to 65, did not chill the room well. It felt stuffy all night. The rooms are out dated and bleak and dreary, in my opinion. The beds were well made, but I found them to be too firm for my preference, which is 6-7 of 10 (with 10 being too firm to sleep). One of the first things noticed in the bathroom was the mold on the shower curtain and in between the tile. The border of the tile on the shower and wall was laden with black shoe scuffing all around. The toilet struggled to flush. The shower drain was a beautiful thing, yes, that picture is of the shower drain that DID NOT DRAIN! I experienced water up to my ankle...yargh! This was the cause to lower my star rating from 3 to two.The sink area is in a seemingly odd location: by the door.Breakfast was meager - mostly cereal, donuts, and waffle. OJ was empty and milk was empty at 6:45AM.Price was inexpensive; this rate kept my rating above one star.Included are my photos taken immediately upon entering.Would I stay here again? NoIf this review was helpful, please like it.

Check in was very easy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean A/C kept the room very comfortable. Bathroom was kinda small but the shower had excellent water pressure. Definitely worth the cost. I will stay there again

Clean, inexpensive, and friendly staff. Decor is a bit dated but really who cares. Microwave and mini fridge in the rooms. Breakfast was included but isnt the biggest spread. for the money though it's well worth it. I've stayed at places that cost more and were dirty or had rude unhelpful staff.

This hotel is very rude and racist I stayed there for a couple of days and the lady at the front desk tried to tell me what I can and can't not wear .. claiming it's there policy as well as telling me I cannot be there because they don't accept certain clothing on top of that she charged my card $526 for a week when it's 400 for a week . She is very rude towards people unprofessional..as well as telling me and my girlfriend that we cannot bring food and beverages into our hotel room I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

What a nightmare! Upon arriving, a lady behind the front desk was unable to check me in. She gave me a key to a room. The phone rang in the room 30 minuted later... a man requesting me to go to the front desk to check in. I immediately go up there to only wait 5 minutes for him to come back to the front desk to pay for room. The side door was not secure/locked at night. I did NOT take a shower there as there was soap scum on the shower wall and a hole in the bottom of tub (sealed with tape). The only reason I am giving 2 stars was because the beds were comfortable and we slept awesome.

We were never intending to stay in Emporia, but we were here late and the kids were cranky so we decided to get a room and drive back home the next day. At first we stopped at a cheaper hotel (I m looking at you America s best!) and the staff was rude so we walked out. We drove right down the road to the econolodge and we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly, breakfast was what you d expect and the room was clean, though maybe a bit outdated. We didn t mind because we were able to get a good nights rest and eat a nice breakfast this morning. If you re traveling through emporia on a budget, stop here.

This motel was quiet the rooms were very clean. I had plenty of hot water and nice towels for my shower. The internet worked very well. There are plenty of places to eat around there.

The room was nicely decorated, and pretty clean, but it was hot in there as they do not cool them between stays. Took it about 3 hours to get down to 68.(it was about 98F in there when I got in there. Which made it impossible to relax in there until 3 hours after I checked in. The breakfast was bagles, toast and orange juice. Wouldn't stay there again if I didn't have to.

Room was average, but clean, breakfast was good. The pool has been closed because "it's too hard to keep clean". And the vending machine only serves hot drinks (that are supposed to be cold). But it's cheap.

They have bedbugs and then one of the staff was speaking agressively to me and calling me a liar. I have photos to prove the LIVE bedbug crawling on my bathroom towel and he still accused me of lying. They went to the room with me and one of the gentleman kicked the bedbug to the side, then they continued to follow me all the way to my vehicle and accuse me of lying. Worst hotel experience ever! I couldn't stay. Not to mention how dirty and filthy the place was.

There was a musty smell in the bathroom. There wasn't breakfast. The beds were comfortable. The drain in the bath tub took forever to drain. The house keepers were really nice.

This place is very run down. There was almost a 2inch gap between the door and floor. There roaches in the bathroom so they dont do any upkeep for those things who knows bout bed bugs too than? My toilet was clogged too.

The owners are nice, this is why I'm giving 2 stars not 1. The place needs to be cleaned and have a little better standards on what clean is. Sheets are off-white with stains (yuck), pillows worn-out, bathtub caulk job really bad and tried to cover up mold. If these tubs are cleaned after every person that rented, mold wouldn't form, assuming you use a cleaning agent and not just wet rag. Corridors look like they've never been vacuumed, crumbs, dirt. You can tell it's not been vacuumed on awhile. Plank on until itself was mix-matched when 2 different planks.Just get some clean sheets please..

This is a clarification for the event that "A" described in her review and hotel was responded to by hotel staff. As a bystander in the parking lot when this went down the event that "A" described is true in the way hotel staff treated her after bringing the issue to the front desk. I stayed nearby due to the fact that one staff was bordering on assault towards the lady. When another man arrived the manager then tried to calm the situation but his staff insisted on pushing his authority. This led to a very loud and almost physical confrontation between the two men. The staff was clearly out of line in the way they handled the situation.
